Brendon bit his lip and nodded, feeling a little nervous. "Yeah..." He squeaked and gulped a little. He carded his hair and continued working. How was he supposed to tell her he liked her?

Alex sighed and frowned softy she took his hand gently and turned him towards her "Brendon… please what is going on?" She asked nervously suddenly feeling very timid and nervous like she was going to do something wrong and he would be upset with her

Brendon flinched a bit when she took his hand. He paused his task and looked over at Alex. The young man sighed and shrugged. "Not much..." He said softly.

Alex noticed that he flinched and she pulled her hand away "S-sorry" she mumbled and pulled her hands close to her "Uh well if you need anything or want to talk you can come to me" she sai softly and sighed going to eat lunch in the barn since she didn't want to eat with her father

Brendon clenched his jaw and nodded, carrying on with his tasks but in the back of his mind wondering what he could say or do better. He liked her. Would he say it? He didn't know how. The young man had many times he was in like with someone, but Alex was different.

Alex went and ate most of her sandwich and then used a pocket knife to cut up the apple and feed it to some of the horses she pet them softly then went to the castle to get her brothers when she came back her brothers laughed and ran but she was much less than happy

Brendon carried on with his tasks but he was feeling a little nauseous. He minded what the princess told him earlier, not to work himself sick. So he took a break and drank some water from the hose. He leaned back against a horse's stall as his head was spinning.
