He laughed, picking up his feet that carried him past her at a sprint. He flicked his tail playfully in her face, swiftly moving through the woods at a gentle pace.

Bashee sniffled, covering her muzzle with her paws. She didn't want to think about anything right now, she just wanted to sleep for.. Die. No. That's too harsh. She thought to herself. He's just a brute.

Sapphire giggled happily as she darted up beside him, trying her best to keep up, Ryker had always been faster and more agile than her. She came to a stop noticing Jax in the far distance between some bushes, she crouched down and watched, confused as to what was going on.


Jax growled lowly, the lingering scent of a coyote (AYEEE!) was around, he needed to find Bashee before it tried to get to her. Jax moved around slowly, he knew Sapphire was there but didn't really care. He walked carefully and steadiky in the direction of the coyote's scent.

He halted, confused as Jax snaked across the wood. He shrugged and raced after Sapphire, who had passed him momentarily. He pounced on her, getting both of their legs tangled up. He laughed, adjusting himself quickly so he could return to running.


Bashee padded to the stream, lapping up the refreshing liquid. The air was knocked from her chest and she was plunged into the freezing water. Her arms flailed in a panic, snarling furiously. She looked at the cause of it. The coyote. He held a smug grin on his face. She leaped at him but he was quicker and she was freezing, He grabbed her scruff to yank her down. She yelped, shuddering from the cold as he held onto her. Blood trickled down her fur.

Sapphire shook her pelt after Ryker leapt on her, keeping her sights on Jax, he seemed very aggravated, his fur stood on end, Sapphire was confused and padded a little closer, watching Jax make a very frightening move.

Jax growled lowly and leapt over the bushes, snatching onto the coyote’s tail and yanking, ripping sone flesh from his tail. Jax was furious now, his eyes glanced over towards Bashee, seeing her blood made him even more angry, Jax let out a deep, threatening growl once more and took a stronger hold onto his tail.

Ryker padded alongside Sapphire. He bared his teeth at the coyote, prepared to jump in but Jax seemed to have it on his own. He watched with surprise as the scene unfolded, even more stunned when Bashee stared to fight back as well. He stared with interest, finding it a bit amusing how fast the coyotes attitude changed.

Relief swelled inside Bashee when Jax appeared, grabbing the coyote by the tail. Not a very effective move, but it held him back. She leaped to her over-sized paws, snarling bitterly at the lessen canines face. Saliva slathered his terrified face, suddenly much more intimidated by Bashee now that she was standing. She slammed her muscular frame into him, knocking him off his paws. She spat in his face as he squirmed but was unable to escape due to Jax. She glanced at Sapphire and Bashee, the love birds, who seemed a bit stunned.

Link squealed in fear, squirming like a pup under the towering shadow of the two wolves. "Bad dogsy's! Dogsy's pay! He spat, finally managing to escape once kicking his hindlegs in Jax's muzzle, his claws knicking his cheekbone. He jumped up, surprised they didn't pursue him as he ran off, disappearing into the woods.

Sapphire shook her cranium, slightly confused as of to what just happened, she turned and looked at Ryker noticing he wore the same expression as she did, a slight chuckle escaped her maw as she stepped out from behind the bushes, ”That was a great show.”

Jax shook his bodice as if slinging off some kind of disease from touching the lesser canine, He looked towards Bashee and spoke, ”Are you okay?” His voice was deep and worryful. As soon as he went to take a step towards her Sapphire erupted and spoke.

Ryker chuffed in amusement, revealing himself from the foliage. He raised his head, catching a glimpse of the coyotes yellow, livid eyes. He curled his lip in a ferocious, bitter bellow and the lesser-canine fled. He smirked triumphantly and returned his orbs to the pair. The smirk remained on his maw.

Bashee was readying herself to reply, taking a deep breath of air back into her lungs, when Sapphire and Ryker appeared.
She was a sheepish knowing they had watched the whole charade. She wondered how much of it they had viewed. "I'm... Um... Fine. Thanks." She said, a bit out of breath.

Sapphire giggled at Bashee’s sudden sheepish emotion, ”Oh it’s fine. No need to act shy.” Sapphire smirked and turned her cranium to Ryker, tilting her head to make it seem as if she was confused as to why he was smirking.

Jax blushed slightly and lowered his ears onto his cranium, ”That’s good to hear, Bash.” He chuckled lowly at Sapphire’s words towards the two, lifting his ears off his cranium and shifted his gaze back to where the coyote leapt off.
