He found a cheesestick and smiled while taking it and opening it up in order to snack on it.
"Sure! I'll figure out somezing good to watch, see if ze power 'asnt been shut off yet."
He scoffed before moving to the TV and sitting down on the couch with a sigh, picking up a remote and flicking through the movies they had to watch
They had a few, like 'Jumanji', 'Casablanca' and 'The Shining'
By the time he was done looking through all the movies, he picked 'The Shining' to watch and kept it paused for Felice. Not feeling like getting up again, he leaned on the couch and looked over at the kitchen
"Felice?" He called
"I picked a movie for us! 'Ows breakfast coming, mon amour?"

Pyro frowned at the thought, cabin fever was inevitable for the pair if that was the case. He was able to let out a sigh of relief however upon seeing the television flick on, "Comin' along well..just a few more minutes." He calls out, he had made this plate dozens of times before and so he was about to make them rather quickly. After plating the meal, he carefully heads to the living room to serve Aristide before sitting down himself. It was a plesent surprise seeing 'The Shining' on the screen, fact is that Felice loved Stephen King's work wether it was a book, movie or series, "Its been ages since I've last seen this." He happily comments as he made himself comfortable and begins eating his breakfast, it was a long movie, so at least they would be occupied for a while.

(Gonna switch to Jess after this! Thought that maybe it would be a good time to bring Mundy back into the picture c:)

He hummed and nodded while moving to get comfortable, snatching up his electric blanket and switching it on to a medium setting before snuggling into the couch comfortably.
He sat there for a moment before Felice came in with breakfast, and he freed his hands from his blanketed compound in order to take his plate
"Ah.. merci..." he said lightly in order to enjoy his french toast breakfast
"Right? I 'ave not seen it in a long time eizzer, I figured it could be a different way of beginning ze day."
He enjoyed some of his toast with a grin and sighed
"'orror movies are supposed to be watched during ze night. So zis is a new change."
He also didn't want to stay up all night watching for weird men in guest bedrooms and strange naked women in their bathroom.
He just was always creeped out about movies like that, and never entered a darkened room without whistling to himself.
The Spy was quiet for a good while, the plate resting gently on his stomach as he watched and enjoyed his morning with his boyfriend

The flight back to towards base was long and uneventful, but she managed to make it towards the Texas border by the early morning. Getting into the deadzone was tricky of couse, but she managed and found herself running through barren wasteland. She wasn't equip with wings like Kris nor had shifting ablities like Roman, but she was quick on her feet and a ridiculous amount of engery to keep herself going without rest. At some point she had to take cover when she came across a hotspot for mutants, but it gave her the perfect opportunity to reach out to her old friend she had unwillingly left behind, "Come on..come oooon, pick up.." Jess quietly mutters as she stared down at her cell, hoping Mekhl would answer and maybe lend her some sort of guidance. Truth be told, the younger woman was lost and didn't know if she was heading in the right direction. This was, however, her first time contacting the Engineer after what had happened that dreadful night and she had no clue that Kris, Roman and herself had hits on them for acts of treason while Felice had a hit on him for desertion, Aristide was only one safe from Mann Co. for he was relieved of his duties due to his severe injuries he had received from the accident and because of his current condition thanks to Medic's experiments.

He had been shut up in his room the majority of his time, despite going out to eat or fight. He was going through some stuff and really just needed to get out. The phone call, after a few rings, woke him from his daze and he turned his head over to the object making noise.
Pushing himself away from his desk, the dark skinned engineer picked the phone up
He hesitated a moment, hoping this was the call, to end all calls
"Hello?"
Mick had been in his room as well, sort of just trying to get back to reality. The man was skinnier, and smoking a little more than he should. He had also found the drinks, and if he wasn't feeling like he should.. well...
He had died, and then promptly was brought back by the medic. How was he supposed to feel?
With his friend dead, his nephew missing, and his brother MIA..
He didn't know how he was supposed to feel

Scout lets out a sigh of relief, it was welcoming to hear the man's voice once again, "Hey, buddy..its been a while.." She exhales, grateful that he answered. Jessie takes a brief moment to peak out from her hiding spot when she heard approaching footsteps, the luckily the creature struck around for a mere several seconds before moving on and allowing her to freely talk once again, "Okay..I have no idea what your set up is like..but I can really use your help!" She pleds, sounding desperate. She peaks out once more before jumping out into the open and hurries off to take cover in a more secure location within a wrecked vehicle, "Is there anyway you can track my location? I know I'm nearby, but I'm not sure by how much..it's crawling with those..things out here, if I could just find the river, I'll be golden.." She tries to explain, hoping the Engie would understand just how dire her situation was.

He blinked and smiled while listening to what seemed like the Scout.
"Jessie!" he said gently, to let her know he was happy to hear her voice again. Though while letting her speak, he listened to her situation and took the phone with him while scooting over to his desk. He stuck it on speakerphone, plugged it in to his computer and let it lay there
"Of course I can." he answered aloud while typing in a few things and watching the screen. Soon enough a map popped up with Scout's blue dot marking where she was. He huffed and sat there scrolling around the area
"The river is half mile behind you." he said aloud, before sitting silently
"Scout... are you coming home?"

Yet another thankful sigh left her lips, "Glad my cell can still be tracked.." She quietly mutters while wiping some sweat from her brow. Jess took a moment to compose herself as she waits for Mekhl to set up his computer and give her some sort of guidence. She nearly gasped when he spoke up again, "Only half a mile?" She was closer than she thought and it was a good thing she rang him up, because she started heading in the wrong direction. She peaked out the cracked window and scans over the land until she felt that it was safe enough for her to leave the wreckage and so she does, "Yeah..but..I'm only visiting." Scout tells him as she quickly connects the phone to her headset and pulls her hood back over her head, after shoving the device back into her pocket, she takes off running again. She was a little hesitant about asking the next question, but felt that it was important to know, "What's it like over there? You know..after what happened to the Medic and Soldier.." She was frowning, upset that she was dragged into the mess to begin with.

He sat there watching her movement, listening to what she had to say through speaker. Every now and then he'd glance behind him at his door and made sure nobody wouldve been listening.
For now he focused on Scout and where she was. She spoke of only visiting, and he nodded slowly.
"I see." He hummed gently, "Only visiting. To say last goodbyes to old friend before you leave?"
He chuckled to himself and grinned while sighing, knowing that probably wasnt the case.
"Since they found out Soldier was hiding Medic, they questioned everyone else about being affiliated with him." He explained while leaning back in his seat a bit
"I've been questioned twice. I've held strong for family. Will not let Scout get hurt."
He glanced to the side before continuing
"But things really are heating up. People might question you about him. Medic might get whats coming to him if they find out where he's hiding."

To be completely honest, coming back to say goodbye to her old friends didn't even cross her mind, she was there to grab her stuff and go, but now she felt a bit of guilt when it was brought up, "Yeah..that and I need to get my stuff together." She admits. Jessie did feel a lot more focused and less terrified about what was lurking around now that she had Mekhl on the other line, "Where he's hiding..?" Jess frowns slightly, she could just tell them and have the menace taken care of once and for all, but then again she was putting Aristide and Felice at risk since they lived close by and the last thing she wanted was bloodshed and Mercenaries wondering around a small community. She knew she couldn't keep secrets around Engie as is considering that he was a mindreader, unsure how to answer, she grows quiet up to the point where she finally makes it to the river, "Found it.." Scout announces, "Thanks, man..I'll see you soon!" She hangs up, deciding it would be best and start following the river down towards the base, but she forgot to ask just how far that was.
