He huffed and rolled his eyes while rubbing his forehead
There were just some people in this world he couldn't deal with.. and was forced to deal with
Mekhl scouted ahead while the Spy struggled with making sure Felice was okay without touching him at all
"I surely 'ope so.." he sighed while lowering his arms and watching as Alex freaked out about her goat legs
"Whoaaah!" he said aloud
"Dude those are cool! You're one of those mutated guys! Right?" he said while pointing at her
"My friends are never going to believe this story!"

He watched Roman, guiding him to where they were supposed to go
He noticed the other doctor, and lifted his chin a little, stopping when the woman stopped him
He blinked and wondered why he had to stay behind, but did it anyways with a nod
The little German sat there with his hands in his labcoat pockets before she spoke up again
And he glanced to her with a raised eyebrow, biting his lip and shrugging at her words
"Ah.. Zhank you.." he chuckled softly
"I vas.. in ze blast zone. It seems zhe vings veren't a negative influence on my career.."
He nodded before going silent.. awkwardly silent while looking to the side

Jessie was gloating away at the kid's reaction to her legs, "Rule number two! If anyone ever doubts you, you take a swing at them and insult their mum! That'll shut em up for sure, I swear by it!" She proudly states, "Besides, they can't like not believe you if you have a picture! You can think of it as a little souvenir and not only will you have a picture with one mutated freak, you'll have a picture with four of them!" Pyro kept his glare on Scout, he didn't like the promises she was making with the kid nor did he particularly enjoy the terrible advice she was giving him, "Come on, sunshine..she can babysit for now.." He mutters while pulling his lover away to follow Mekhl. Through the fog, Pyro could a faint glow of what was certainly some type of fire, he could smell it too, but he didn't feel like they were immediately in danger in this area, "You think this area affected its survivors just like us?" He asks Aristide. The contract didn't sound all that difficult, but if they were to be facing others with mutations and powers such as them, well..he had every right to worry.

The medical assistant could somewhat sense Kristian's discomfort, "You should try visiting the children's ward sometime, I'm sure they'd be really excited to see a real life angle." She pats his back before leaving him on his own to fill out paperwork on the deseased. When the freezer was opened and the tray containing the body was pulled out, Roman could feel his entire self shake. He was expecting for them to uncover the body and be met with the sight of his oldest son, but once that sheet was pulled back, he felt his heart stop for it wasn't someone he expected in the slightest. His expression of shock and puzzlement faded into one of guilt and disappointment. He reaches down and slowly runs his fingers down their cheek, the cause of death was obvious as there was a gunshot wound to their temple, but even with such a gruesome death, they seemed as if they were at peace, "Sir..? Can you identify them?" Roman tore his stare away as the words slipped from his mouth, just barely loud enough for Kris to hear him, "Kudzaishe Vera."

He rolled his eyes and sighed while moving to follow Pyro
He listened, and shrugged while tilting his head and spotting what seemed to be a fire
Breathing in, he answered truthfully
"I'm not too sure.. I suppose so.. but.. we should be careful regardless." the Frenchman sighed
Alex bounced up and down while following her
"Four?! What.. are the others goat people too??" he squeaked
"Dang! That's soo cool!"

He nodded gently and figured that was a good idea.. maybe some day he would stop by and do so
He was a good distance away while watching Roman, very concerned for who it might have been, but while watching.. it was clear that Roman knew exactly who it was
The little German bounced up and down a little while just itching to find out who it was
He said her name, and he practically choked.. staggering back and into the wall
"K-Kali?!" he said aloud, watching with wide eyes
He never expected it to be so.. the nice lady who had helped him with his new prosthetic.. took in Mick.. and..
"Laurenz.. mein gott.. vhere is my son?!" he cried out and felt tears nipping at his eyes
"No! No zis cannot be.."
He whined and slid himself to the ground while hugging his legs
If Laurenz didn't have Kali... then who had Laurenz?

Arms crossed, Jessie swings around to face the kid, "UH no! I'm one of a kind! Mekhl reads minds, Pyro turns into an emaciated deer corpse and Spy is like an aqudic gremlin. Not only do I have these sweet pair of legs, but I can also mess around and control someones emotions like an ex wife! Pretty cool, huh?" There was enough distance between Pyro and Scout, so they wouldn't have to listen to her voice any longer, "Hopefully the fog clears soon and we can really pick up the pace..wait." He throws an arm in front of Spy to keep him from walking any further, "Mekhl..?" He tried calling out, but in a hushed tone before piping up completely and for good reason. Moments later the outlining of a large animal came into view, Pyro assumed it was a bear or at least that is what he hoped and it was currently feeding since it looked as if it was dipping his head to the ground, but thankfully because of this it was too distracted to even bother with their passing group. He only waits around long enough for Jessie and Alex to catch up with them before leading them away in the same direction as Mekhl, "That was a little too close for comfort. Guess with humans gone, the wildlife are slowly taking back what was once their's." Scout shrugs before pulling her bandana back over her head. The further inland they walked, the more the fog began clearing up, but with the temperatures being in the mid 40s and most of the group being soaked to the bone, both Scout and Pyro were slowing down a bit. Felice was thinking about shifting to which he could then be used as a walking furnace, but the man was still rather tired from the last time he shifted. He was tempted to huddle close to his lover as well, but didn't want to risk getting him wet, so the shifting idea sounded like the better plan.

"We have what we assumed was her vehicle, a black jeep, at the sheriff station, we can release the belongings inside to you, but we can only release the vehicle to its owner. It's registered under that name of..Felice Reinhart? No..that can't be right.." His gazed shot over in Kristian's direction at the mention of the name, he didn't even think about that, "There was no evidence of a child being with the victim..are you positive she didn't drop them off with friends or family?" The officer looked concerned as they had already unhinged their radio and was ready to report the child as missing, Roman didn't even give Medic a chance to answer, "We are positive, where was the vehicle found?!" He yelled, "Sorry sir, it's an ongoing investigation, we can't release that information..can you please give me a description and age of the child?" They asked, looking between both of the men as they were unsure who was going to give the answers they needed. Roman couldn't give a description, but he was fuming at this point and looked as if he was about ready to strangle the officer or whoever was in arms reach.

He sighed while sticking with Felice
"I'm going to kill 'er when we get back.." he mumbled
Before walking in view of what seemed to be a bear, stopping when Pyro threw an arm out
Mekhl joined up with them after the fact, and seemed very unhappy and uncomfortable in the cold
But regardless, walked with them inland
Spy kept quiet under his rain gear and umbrella, humming softly
"'Ow far did you say we 'ad to walk?" He asked gently and looked to the other
Alex was bouncing along after Scout as she talked about the others.. intruiged to know more

He breathed in and exhaled with a cough trying to figure it out
Everything was so hazy.. he couldnt figure it out.. not remembering what Kali told him
About meeting up.. where to meet up..
He whimpered and bit his lip until it bled, and looked up at the doctor
"I dont know!!" He squeaked
"Young.. blonde hair.. blue eyes.. small.. he likes animals.."
He shuddered and shook his head
"God vhy did I come vis.. zis is so emotional!"
He knew that even though he came, he would have found out anyways
"He could be.. somevere.. but.. only one man knows how to get zere.. and currently he hates my guts for killing him.. und bringing him back to life."

Once they were a safe distance again, Scout continued to blabber away her nonsense to the poor child. Pyro was keeping close to his lover as they spoke, "I think it was a two hour hike there and another two back..have no idea how we are going to track that thing though..a camera was it? I don't even remember. If some other group had already found it, we are going to have to get it back from them by any means necessary if we wish to complete the contract." Although he was chatting with Aristide, it was a good reminder to the rest of the group who were in hearing distance. Aside from a few distant gunshots, several abandoned vehicles and tents left in ruin were the only signs of human activity in the area which made Pyro all the more paranoid. It looked like a decent flat area which would be perfect for a camp, but why was it deserted? Felice held up the group a few times to check out some of these old establishments and was surprised to find goods, usable supplies and canned food mainly which pointed out that whoever lived here was either killed suddenly or left in a hurry, "What do you think happened here?" He asked out loud as he cautiously ventures forward. He as well as the rest of the group were unaware that they were in predatory animal hotspot, however the wildlife wasn't local, "Hey..I just remembered something.." He turns towards the direction where they saw the bear that was shrouded in the fog, "Uhh..bears have been extinct in this region since the eleventh century.." He wasn't certain if what he had actually saw was indeed a brown bear or possibly something worse.

The officer steps away from the two to call in the missing child report along with the description. Roman stomps over to the examiner, "Ven tid she die?" He asks, "About two days ago, but sir-" He storms away over to the body again before taking something out of his pocket. With his back turned toward Medic, it was difficult to see what he was doing, "Sir? SIR!?" Two gunshots rang out and the medical personnel dropped to the floor, the gun in the Soldier's hand was now pointing towards the cop, "Vere is ze location!? Put it on paper!" He yells again with his eyes full of rage. The officer didn't even have a chance to draw his own weapon or call for backup, so he had no choice but to follow the mad man's orders. He kept the gun pointed at the younger man as he snatches the paper from him and backs away over towards Kris before handing it to him, "Go. I'll follow in a minute." He mutters on German.

He nodded and continued to tell himself the walk would do him good
He sighed and bundled up a little more while following
Every now and then he had to stop for Felice, which was understandable
He wouldve done the same thing in such a time.. and tilted his head while rejoining his lover
"I am sure zis contract is easier zan you zink.." he hummed, "Besides.. we are almost zere."
The spy drifted off a little to dream land before snapping out of it when Pyro spoke
And turned his head to him with a slight frown
"Oh? Well.. zen maybe it was a wolf?" He suggested, trying not to get too upset
"Or.. somezing else perhaps?"

But all that escaped was a shout when the gun went off, and he jumped while sitting there stiffly with his eyes widened
His ears rang a little before he moved to stand, and dusted himself off
He took the papers and skimmed them before heading off for the door
"Please stay safe!" he called while quickly skipping off down the hall to get out of the hospital

Pyro shook his head at the mention of the wolf, "They've been extinct in the Netherlands since 1897, no other predator that large are in these parts aside what's found in the harbor.." He frowns before hearing some type of movement in the thick brush, "Not wanting to stick around and find out though.." He gestures the others to hurry along. He didn't even think about the fact that there were several abandoned zoos and wildlife sanctuaries throughout the country and plenty of its inhabitants survived the air-raids of the war-torn land. Still, dangerous animals weren't the only thing to worry about, other survivors and the those deformed humanoid creatures were also a big concern as well. Jessie could feel the hair on the back of her neck stand and instinctively she pushes Alex to the middle of the group, with Mekhl taking the lead and Felicia taking up the rear, the kid was protected from all sides, "Something is following us." She whispers to them while picking up her pace, "You can feel it too, can't you?" Pyro nods lightly, but didn't turn to look, he felt the unwanted presence too, "How do you know we are heading the right way? Have you completed contracts out here before?" Felice asks the Engineer, wondering if the man was actually taking them in the right direction. Ahead, he noticed the path was coming to an end as the foliage around them expanded over the trail.

Roman had a dangerous, explosive temper and although it took a lot for him to reach this level of rage, it always came at a big price too, however, caused it and luckily Kris didn't stick around long enough to see just how bad it got. The Soldier was able to finish business within record time and was able to exit the hospital shortly after Kris.With police already on their ways to face the grizzly scene left behind, the pair had to flee the area and fast. Taking to the sky seemed like their best bet. For Roman, the transformation process wasn't a pretty one as it looked like he was shedding out of his old body and into the new one and of course, it wasn't instant and took a few minutes to complete. Once he was settled into his new form as the reptilian deer-like creature, he was able to outstretch his massive, leathery wing and push himself off from the ground. Although a bit sluggish in flight, he made up in stamina and since Medic had the paper, the creature was following his lead.

He frowned and when Felice spoke about those also being extinct.. becoming a little concerned
"Oh dear.." he breathed while moving on with them, Mekhl moving back to the group to make sure nobody was left behind
The Engineer knew full well what was wrong and just needed to make sure nobody was to get hurt
Spy hugged himself and shuddered as the bigger man spoke
"Supposed path ahead.. but its been so long.. its been lost to the forest.." he huffed
"We must find other way around.."
He glanced behind them before continuing on
"Best we do not get caught.."
The frenchman glanced behind them as well while wondering what was following them

He was already in the air by the time Soldier was out, hovering there wiping his face as the man transformed and came to join him
He wasn't very comfortable around it.. seeing as he had never seen the man like this..
"Come on.." he mumbled, the paper in his pocket as he moved his wings to go a little higher
"Lets go find our son.."
He had to make his way to where the last known location of the car was.. and then off a little ways
He didn't know whether Lars was alive or not.. but knew deep down in his heart..
He breathed in and glanced back a few times to make sure Roman was following every now and then

With a sigh, Pyro began to shift starting with the deer skull materialize over his features. Once it was fully formed, the blue orbs within the sockets flared to life before the black, tar-like substance bubbled out from the back of the skull from seemingly nowhere. It rapidly increasing in volume before pouring over Pyro's body and envelopes him inside as it begins taking the Wendigo's shape. The gray and rusty colored fur sprouted from the blackened flesh as the final touch, the entire process lasted no more than a couple of minutes and it was the very same process he went through each time he shifted. At least in this form, although very draining, could at least provide a sense of protection to the group and well as generating much needed heat to all in its vicinity. The creature drops onto all fours and mosies on along with a yawn while it rises its body temperature. Jessie gestures to the Wendigo once its back was turned, "See? Emaciated deer corpse!" She laughed. Aside from the rustling in the bush or sound of a twig snapping, whatever was following them either lost interest or watched from afar. With Mekhl at the back of the group now, Pyro took the lead, but followed Engineer's directions closely so he wouldn't end up misguiding the other towards some sort of danger.

The creature that was now Roman was rather hideous, yet frightening much like the Wendigo. Although the head was cervine, it's mouth was pulled back unnaturally far much like a canine, its rows of teeth were canid too. It body structure was similar to that of a kangaroo aside from its legs which were boney and hooves. Its arms were short, but almost reptilian-like and were capable of grabbing and were equipped with hooked claws, its tail was also that of a reptile for it was thick, powerful and entirely scaled. He was wee bit larger than the Wendigo and even carried the same sunken in, soulless eyes. With the lack of vocal cords, the creature could only respond with a loud grunt as it follows in his lead. Kudzaishe had been murdered a couple days again and there was no sign of him ever being in the vehicle, this is what had Roman thinking. There was something more behind what had happened and he couldn't understand what. Whoever took his old friend's life was most likely the one who now had the kid, unless they managed to slip away, but perhaps a look into the area would provide some more insight, but taking back the car after their little investigation was on his mind too. The area they were coming up to was along the country side on a long stretch of road, however with the directions given, it was impossible to pinpoint the exact location of where the vehicle was discovered. Frustrated, Roman lands off to the side of the road and with his rage still flaring it would be impossible for him to shift back. Dense foliage grew on both sides of the road, but it opened up into a large grassy fields that led to farmlands. It was desolate at this time and there wasn't any signs of life aside from a approaching vehicle about a mile down the road.

(I think he'll be missing for a while, but once we reach that point, you can decide the condition he is found in!)
