He rolled his eyes and rubbed his forehead while watching Jessie stand
"Its embarrassing.. I know.." he grumbled while Mekhl held the child there
"Alex!" the kid snapped and eyed the scary looking masked man
Spy shook his head and followed suit, before Mekhl helped up Scout and helped her out
They squeaked and staggered after Pyro yelling at him to let them go
"Eleven! And you better bet your red butt that you'll go to jail for this!"
They sat there glaring at Pyro while in the raft, and looking out to the shore
They were silent, before sighing and nodded
"I understand.." they answered before looking to watch as the rain geared Spy came to join him, along with Mekhl helping Jess along

He watched Roman while he spoke and nodded while moving to get into the helicopter
"You're right.. I'll stretch on the way there."
He hummed and sat next to the Soldier
Besides.. it wasn't that big of a deal anyways.. He was there for Roman.. and so there he would be
He sat next to him and watched the window, before finding his hand and holding the older man's hand gently

"How are you feeling?" he asked while glancing to the other

He nods, "Okay..Alex..watch your mouth." He calmly tells him, "The cops stay out of this..alright? Otherwise you won't be going home..ever." He warns before patting the spot besides him for Aristide. Jess was a little out of it, but she managed to get to her feet with Mekhl's help, "You control the raft." She tells him, feeling like she wasn't capable to doing it herself anymore. Pyro kept a very watchful eye on the kid, but he made himself comfortable and kept a protective arm around his lover, "As I said kid, it's really dangerous out there, so you need to stay close to us at all time. You wander off and you'll be scooped up within a blink of an eye." His anger was beginning to seep away from him, he could stay mad at a kid, he didn't know better and was simply trying to protect himself and his home. As they neared the shore, a layer of fog began to wash over the land while the rain grew light, yet constant, "See anywhere we can stop?" He calls back to Mekhl's while he was now trying to secure a life vest over the kid, "Put your arms up." He demands in a hushed tone. He knew things could go bad in an instant, it has already happened and so he was trying to prepare for it this time.

Roman wasn't expecting to feel Medic's hand over his own, he didn't react, but he gave a very light squeeze, "I'm fine." Was the only words he spoke to the other during the ride. It was late at night as they were wandering through the mostly empty streets, it didn't look like the best area as the homeless littered the area and several buildings in the vicinity had their walls decorated with layers of graffiti. They were about to walk beneath a large freeway overpass where the streetlights no longer illuminated the sidewalk, Roman looked wary, "Perhaps you should fly over..?" He suggested, he knew he could handle himself in just about any situation that is thrown at him, but he wasn't very confident in Kristian's ability in self defense. Still, if the smaller male declined, he would make sure nothing would touch him.

He scoffed a little and grinned while sitting next to Felice, getting himself comfortable under his umbrella.. making sure not to hit anybody with it while he was at it
He cuddled close and bit his lip, looking around as Mekhl got Jess onto the raft and finally detached from the boat in order to head for the shore
Alex sat down and glared at Pyro crossing their arms while huffing
"Fine.." they mumbled and pouted there on the seat
The Engineer had kept a watchful eye out, pointing off starboard side
"There." he said aloud
"Good place for cover."
Ari moved to look where he was pointing, and noted the geography was just perfect to hide the raft.. and nobody to spot it from a distance
Alex frowned at the weird masked man, before lifting his arms for the vest to go over him
"You aren't going to toss me over, are you?" they huffed
"Because I can swim!"

He sighed and nodded before soon following Roman through the streets
He was looking around and biting his lip, making sure to stick close
Until he heard the other speak of flying.. in which he thought about that..
The last time he was to scout out ahead was when he was shot down
He kept telling himself there wouldn't be anyone to shoot him this time
"What should I be looking for?" he asked gently, looking to the other
"Anyone or anything specific?"

Felice about to say something to his lover, but his words came to a halt at the kid's comment. He turns towards him and leans in close to his face while pointing a finger at his chest, "You know what else can swim?" He asks, "Sharks." He states bluntly before returning his immediate attention to Aristide, "Be sure to tell me if you start feeling sick again, don't keep it to yourself, sunshine.." He tells him before leaning over to pull Alex towards them by the vest, "Come over here, if you stay under the ran too long, you'll get sick." He frowns while directing him to a space under Spy's umbrella so he would be protected by the rain. He flashed a glance over at Aristide before reaching down to hold his hand, he then looks out along the horizon as Mekhl pulls the raft closer to their destination. While distracted, Scout, who had been scooting closer to the kid, holds out her fist towards him and waiting for a bump in return, "Not a fan of your kind, but this is for being able to the pin down a Spy of all people, that's not an easy feat." She chuckles, but tries to speak to him quite enough so Ari wouldn't hear, she didn't want to embaress him again nor anger Pyro for teasing.

"Not looking for anything, I know where we need to go. Just might be safer up there than down here." He shrugs as he ventures on. A few disturbed men crossed their paths, but said nothing more than a few crazed mutters as they passed by. They crossed without incident. While walking the final mile, the scenary changed for the best thankfully and soon enough, a rather large hospital came into sight thanks to most of the building being lit up like a Christmas tree, "Here we are.." He mutters as he pauses to take in the sight. With another sigh, he pick up the pace as he heads for the entrance. Roman wasn't one to ask for directions or even follow signs all that well, so finding the morgue was going to be a difficult task without Medic's help.

He watched the kid go speechless, cheeks heating up as his eyes scanned the water around them
Spy sat and smiled gently to his lover, who had suddenly gone so concerned about him
"I'll let you know ef I get sick again, mon amour.." he said with a soft smile
Alex squeaked and fought against whomever pulled him, sitting stiffly by the man he had brought down moments ago
But he was out of the rain.. and sitting wet and uncomfortable
Ari held to the Pyro's hand while sitting, watching the kid reach over and bump Scout's fist for some reason
"Is that what this guy is? I didnt know Spies were so easy to bring down!"
Aristide heard that.. and his cheeks flushed as he took the umbrella and bonked Scout over the head with it
"Tu me taquine! 'ow dare you!" He snapped, sitting there letting the rain run down his rain jacket hood
"What 'e did to me was not funny!"

He frowned a little, but kept close while continuing on with Roman
Every time he heard a sound he would jump like a scared cat, flaring his wings out defensively
This place sure got him on the edge.. watching out for any creepers
He spotted the hospital in the distance, and seeing their destination, took a running start before hopping into the air and flying off
He would keep the Soldier in his view at all times, circling up around him while breathing in the air
It was so nice to be up once more.. in the sky.. like the bird he was
He hummed and smiled before he was hit in the face by a rock
It sent the man faultering through the air, before regaining himself before hitting the ground
Someone had thrown that at him.. but whom? He glanced around for the suspect.. before looking around for Roman..

"Yeah! You and me both..!" She chuckles as she glances up for a brief second only to receive a whack to her head from the very one they were teasing. Pyro rolled his eyes and shakes his head disapprovingly at Alex and Scout's behavior and gives some comforting rubs to his lover's back, what happened to him was kinda funny, but he wasn't going to say that out loud. Almost at the shore, Felice double checks his guns to make sure they were loaded and in working order, seeing this, the Scout begins to do the same. Jess began struggling with something about a minute in, "Oh ****..I think my gun is jammed.." She mutters, seconds later a single shot it fired. Even with the mask, his ears where left ringing from being in a close range, "Nevermind." She was already getting ready to jump off of the raft and only then did Pyro notice that it was deflating and taking on a good amount of water, "Seriously?!" Pyro called out to her before hearing a splash, the fog was really thick in this area. He attempts to slow the sinking by covering the hole, they were so close to shore already and hoped they could make it without having Aristide shift from the water settling on the bottom of the raft. Felice was letting out a loud, colorful stream of insults about the Scout during this time.

Roman had lost sight of Kris at some point when he took off flying, if he had known that someone had thrown a rock at the man, things wouldn't have ended well for them. He was so fixated on the hospital and he didn't even turn back for him either. Once at the front doors, he did stop and wait for the other to catch up, "Medic..?" He calls out, confused that he didn't see the man and starts pacing back to look for him. He knew he didn't need too but he was willing to take every chance he could to stall the inevitable.

He sighed and shook his head while moving to lean into Felice a little more
He was beginning to wonder how close they were to the shore when Scout claimed her gun was jammed
And flicking his eyes to her, he raised an eyebrow and flinched at the sudden shot
He was sure everyone's ears were ringing while they headed to shore
It was when he saw the hole, and freaked out, moving his feet up from the bottom of the raft
"Scout!" he yelled angrily as Alex jumped after the Scout to paddle to shore in his life vest
"I'll get you!"
He growled and tried to avoid the water as best he could without falling back into the ocean, or getting any part of his body wet from the rain and the ocean now currently filling up the raft
"Zis es not going to end well.." he huffed as a gloved hand moved to settle on Pyro's shoulder for support
Mekhl was stoic, sitting there with a hard glare to the horizon
Why did he have to come with them..

He huffed and turned upon hearing his name
Maybe he would find out who did that later..
"Coming, Soldier!" he called before moving to spread his wings again
He glided over to where the hospital was, eventually joining the other with a flutter of his white angelic wings
"Sorry.. got caught up back there.." he hummed while folding his wings and looking up at the hospital
"Is this the place?"

With no other option, Pyro attempts to scoop up Aristide and throw him over his shoulder while stepping off the raft into nearly chest deep of water. At the shore, Jessie sat on the sand which the two with an amused look before pointing at Spy, "He can't get wet, otherwise something scary happens..kinda like a gremlin!" She explains to the kid, "Mekhl doesn't look happy, I think he's going down with the ship at this point." She returns her attention back to the other two, Pyro was struggling, but it looks as if he had managed to get Spy to shallower water, "Uh oh..Py better hurry, looks like a big wave is coming..!" She continued to provide commentary for the kid during all of this, Pyro was certainly going to seek revenge on her at some point. With the last bit of strength, he was able to carry Spy to safety, before collapsing onto the sand. Seconds later, the wave got him, but luckily Aristide was placed just out of reach from the water, "And he is outta here!" She playfully, yet lightly socks the kid's arm, "Now..back to Engie." She muses.

Soldier examines him closely, once he noticed the mark the rock had left behind, "Yeah..this is it. We need to get to the morgue. The examiner and officer with be waiting down there." He tells the Medic as they enter the inside of the building. A lady at the directory desk greeted them with a smile before asking if they needed help, however Roman ignored her entirely and heads in no particular direction, if Kris didn't step in, they were bound to get lost. Roman was visually uncomfortable and was avoiding other patients how passed by like the plague, it was a reminder of the man's fear of sickness and unfortunately it was difficult to avoid when inside a hospital.

He breathed in and sat there over Pyro's shoulder while trying his best not to get even a drop on him
"Do not drop me!" he breathed and sat there as still as he could
There had to be something he could do to repay Fel for what he was doing
He let out an 'oof' while being dropped in the sand, and curling around in order to watch his lover being swallowed by the tide
"Zis es not funny, Scout!" he snapped to the female behind him before trying to help out Pyro to the best of his ability with his gloved hands
Engineer had gone down with the ship.. not once even moving to escape
He had been glaring at Scout, and now bubbles escaped where he sat
He sighed and moved to walk straight out of the water and over to Scout
Where he huffed and dropped a lump of seaweed on her head before continuing on silently
Alex was laughing the entire time, just enjoying himself while they were just making fools of themselves

He huffed and sat there listening to the lady, before Roman just moved off the wrong way
"Roman!" he said aloud, waving to the lady before hopping after him
"Roman wait! You need to stop!"
He eventually caught up with the man, tugging on his arm while trying to get him to slow and stop
"You're going the wrong way!"
He knew his way around hospitals.. the morgue was one place he made trips to one too many times

It was definitely a terrible way to start off the mission, but they were bound to learn from each and every mistake they made. Pyro had managed to crawl out from the ocean and onto dry sand, thankfully his flamethrower was tossed out of harms way moments before he was swept up. Just like everyone else, he was glaring dangers at the woman whom he trusted, "Alright me, I know you guys are having fun and all, but we seriously need to focus on the contract." She reminds them while placing her hands on her hips and stands proud as if she wasn't the one who had just costed them their raft. Felice had to take a deep breath to calm himself, "Can't we just..leave her here after we finish?" He groans before standing up to empty the water out of his boots and with a long walk ahead, boot rot was something he didn't want to risk. Scout was currently doing the same thing, she didn't even need her shoes anyways and so she left them by a few large rocks to pick up on the way back. She didn't even attempt to hide her mutation from the kid either, at least now she would have full mobility. She didn't wait around for the others to compose themselves nor did she offer a helping hand, she just began walking while gesturing the kid to follow, "Rule number one, kid..never admit to your mistakes!

Roman came to an abrupt halt and turned to follow in Medic's given direction. He was very tense even when Kris placed a hand on his arm, but with the other's guidance, finding the morgue was easy. A doctor was waiting outside of the doors for them, "Roman Heinrich?" He nods before they gestured the two inside. The woman leads Roman over to the police officer and medical examiner, but keeps Kris from following, "If you could just stay here, please." She says with a small smile while Roman was lead over to the end of the room to where the mortuary freezers were kept to preserve the bodies of the deseased, "Hey, I don't mean to pry, but your wings are hard to ignore..are were you in the blast zone by any chance?" She curiously asks, "I've met a few from the area who has mutation too, but none as elegant as yours." She informs him.
