He shrugged a little while sitting there with his head in his hands
"Well worth a shot.. you'd never know." He said
"Besides. With them two, the whole 'giving birth' thing will never work out. They both are strange mutants."
He chuckled and smiled at his feat, remembering how amazing it felt to get back at them..
He moved to stand while grabbing his dishes
"How long will we be out? I might need to pack."

He moved to stand in front of the door, ready to shut it at a moments notice
He waited there for a good amount of time.. wondering if anything were to happen
When he noticed movement by the bed
He watched with a raised eyebrow, as a small figure struggled to wiggle out from underneath the bed
The bed that had been used by both.. Felice and he just the night before
Wondering how one could fit under such a space, a small short haired being tried to make a break for it for the door, only to run straight into Spy
They fell back and so did he, dropping the walkie talkie as well
The Frenchman let up the cloak, watching the child baffledly try and figure out where the man came from
Spy moved quickly for the kid, but the kid moved quicker
And soon enough a voice came over the radio, Mekhl lifting it to hear
"Hey! Who's this?" It snapped and Mekhl glanced to Felice

Both Pyro and Jess were showings concerned looks when an unfamiliar voice blared onto the handheld radio, "Who's that..?" Pyro mutters, he wasn't even sure how to respond any further and so he waited to hear something more from them. While he was distracted, Scout slipped away from the two and hurriedly made her way back towards the cabin. She stayed at the top of the stairs however, not wanting to interfere, but was on standby encased she needed to. As she was listening she could hear a fare amount of movement and was beginning to worry and so she finally spoke up, "Hello?..Uhh..hellooo?" She calls out to nobody in particular. She slowly and cautiously descends down the stairs into the cabin, wary and uncertain of what she was going to see.

"No longer than two days." He quickly responds, before humming quietly to himself as he was thinking about alterations made for Spy, "I saw his mutation..briefly while we all fought each other.." It was possible that he was one of the only to remember that day since the poison that was used against them was his own and therefore didn't take full effect, "Tell me..do you know if his genes or anything of that sort were altered due to this mutation when it first came about or do they only change when he does? In simpler terms..does his genes now hold similarities to the creature he shifts to? Like a squid or octopus that is.." It was an unusual thing to ask, but he seemed serious with the subject and was expecting some type of answer. He stands from the table and gestures the other to follow as he goes to set his dishes off to the designated area for the staff to pick up.

He moved to stand and followed the other, taking care of his dishes while thinking
That was a good question.. he was only inside the other once.. for the surgery.. but he did see many alterations
"I suppose if he has physical alterations.. that there would be genetic alterations as well." he shrugged
"I dont remember much of the fight.."
He hummed softly before sticking near the Soldier
"Why do you ask?"
And looked up at him curiously

He heard Scout's voice, and choked against the blade of his own balisong against his neck
His balaclava had been cast aside, and the young child held the knife against his neck while sitting on his back
He was on his stomach, laying there still while the kid continued to speak into the walkie talkie
"You listen here, punks!" They snapped
"I've got yer weird friend here by.. uh.. knifepoint! You better get off my darn boat.. or by golly you'll pay the consequences!"
The frenchman choked out a quick "pyro!" Before the kid pulled the knife up and choked him again
"Hello? You listening to me?" They said while watching the walkie talkie
They had no idea who was approaching

Spy was pinned and the child didn't see her, this was the perfect opportunity to jump in and rescue the man, however, Jess couldn't contain herself and lets the whole world know of her located with a sudden burst of laughter, "A kid?! Really, Spy? A kid.." She wheezes while wiping a tear away. Once she settled down, she took a seat into the bed, but keeps her distance as she didn't want to provoke the kid, "Okay..okay..I'm sorry first of all.." She glances at Aristide, "Okay..first off..don't ever use the word 'golly' around me. Second, if you leave a mark on him, I don't think I'll be able to stop his uhh..partner from tearing you apart limb by limb. Nobody wins." She shrugs, "So yeah, there will be consequences..for you that is." Only now did she give the kid a chance to respond and at this time, Pyro had his flamethrower in hand and was trying to get off the raft so he could reach his lover.

Soldier nods although he was still curious about the matter, "Humans no longer have natural instinct like animals do, I was wondering that since all four of us are no longer entirely human..have we been granted those instincts once again and if so, how strong are they? It's a lot of meaninglessness thoughts, I'm just curious." He waves off the Medic soon after saying this so the two could pack up and so Roman could also make arrangements, but he did leave the other with a lot the think about. Roman planned on approaching him again in the future about the subject.

He sat there watching the Soldier go.. and realized how.. right he was
Ever since he grew his beautiful white wings, he sort of had different needs
Preening was something he did.. instinctively flaring his wings to make himself bigger when frightened
He never really noticed it, and made his way back to his room to think
He wasnt around Ari long enough to notice any difference.. but soon..
The man packed up a few days worth of clothes, consisting largely of the same exact piece of clothing
White dress shirt.. vests.. pants.. ties
He scoffed a little while going through his things, realizing he had to make his wardrobe bigger
So while packing up he checked the time and brought his suitcase to the door, one of his white doves fluttering to join him on the shoulder as he moved to find Roman
It had been a good two hours.. and wondered how things went with him

He frowned and obviously looked disgusted
It was embarrassing.. seriously.. embarrassing
Rolling his eyes, the Spy sat there stiffly in the arms of the kid who jumped when Scout laughed
Spy choked and flinched at that moment, while the kid listened and lowered the walkie talkie a little, glaring at the woman
The kid scoffed while shrugging
"Doesnt matter! You stole my dad's boat! I'll call the cops on you!" They said
Their gender was undefined.. either a girly looking guy, or a masculine girl.. either way the short brown haired kid eyed the Scout with their freckled cheeks
"You promise to take me and the boat home or I hurt the ghost man!"
Aristide frowned while glancing to Jess.. hoping she would make the right move
Mekhl was already moving to help Pyro out of the raft

She comments as she rushes off the best and holts up the stairs to slam the cabin door shut and lock it to prevent Pyro and Engineer from entering, "Just a few more minutes.." She huffs to herself before returning downstairs, "You can't. We are within a country that no longer homes many people in these parts, therefore there is no way for you to call them and even if you can, it'll be many hours before they get here." She informs him with a shrug, "And don't count on it, I'll use it only if I have to." She flashes the kid her gun which was concealed under her shirt and tucked away in a carrier on her pants. Jess carefully pulls her bedouin bandana down so the kid could get a better look at her features so she didn't look like a masked bandit like Aristide, "Look kid, we don't have any intention to hurt you, none of us do..and we are kinda on a time limit to complete our contract. We aren't entirely comfortable leaving you here either since basically..pirates roam these shores, but honestly, they are more like terrifying looking men with speed boats and lots of guns." She warns sounds frighteningly serious, "Spy..get up. Leave a mark on him and I'll set fire to the boat with you on it." She turns to the door again, "You hear that, Pyro!?" She calls out to him before walking towards the two and offers a hand to Aristide, expecting the child to back off and if they didn't, she would back down herself and let Pyro into the cabin. On the deck, Pyro was growing increasingly agitated and was getting ready to shift.

Much like Medic, both Roman and Felice showed instinctual behaviour as well at times, altogether more unusual since their shifts were creatures of folklore. During those two hours, Roman had plenty of times to pack up his belongings and take a long shower to melt away his stress and ease his mind. Once he was dressed and had his luggage in hand, he left his room and heads over the Kristian's, but ends up meeting up with the man in the hallways, "I take it that you are ready." He geastures him to follow. He had made all the arrangments needed and sure enogh there was a van outside waiting for them. A few other Mercs were already inside making a ruckus as they were heading to the landing strip as well so they could leave the state for a contract. The two back seats were lefts for them. Roman seemed disappointed to be crowded into a van with the men but knew the ride would be short and as long as the two spoke German, they wouldn't have to worry much on the others praying in on their conversation, "I think it would be..interesting if we took a closer look at their bodies when they come back." He tells Kris as he stares out the tinted windows of the van, "There is a lot to be learned if we see just how they work while they are shifted."

He watched the Scout move, following her with his eyes before the kid scrambled off him with the knife to try and leave.. but Scout had already stopped them from escaping anyways
The kid watched her with wide eyes while the unhappy Spy moved to stand, grunting softly and sighing before snatching up his balaclava and pulling it back onto him
He came up behind the kid silently, pulling the knife from their hand and flicking it away, glaring at them
"Hey!" they squeaked and tried to grab at it, beating at the man's chest for it back
They were only up to his waist.. a small little kid.. and the beatings he took were so gentle..
"What are we going to do wiz ze kid?" he asked while pushing past to walk for Jess

He bumped into the man walking down the hall, and smiling up at him
"I was going to find you." he hummed, before following suit down the hall and outside with his stuff
His dove pressed close to his neck while he moved to bring his case in with him to the van
Not exactly happy the other mercs were being so loud, he glared at them silently before hearing Roman speak again
In which he looked up at him and listened
"If.. we ever get a closer look." he pointed out
"You think Felice would ever let me close enough again? How about a distanced look."
He shrugged while looking down at his case and fidgeting with the handle
He was silent.. thinking that if they were to learn more.. he would have to keep a record
There was a perfectly sized notebook in his desk when they got back
"Good idea.." he hummed with a smile

Jessie shrugs her shoulders, looking entirely unamused by the child's antics,"Well now that I know you are safe, I don't care what you do with them. We can take them to the shore and leave em there, I really don't care." She made it obvious that she wasn't all that fond of children nor was she a fan of anyone interfering with her job. She glances at them before turning to move up the stairs, but as soon as she swung the door open, she was met with a fist directly to her face. She tumbles back down the stairs, possibly taking Spy with her before coming to rest at the base, groaning. Her hand slowly raised up to flip the 'bird' at the culprit before passing out. Pyro just stood at the top of the stairs with his fist out, he wasn't expecting the door to open so suddenly. He flashed a look over at Engineer while sheepishly rubbing the back of his head before hurrying down. He jumps over Scout's body so he could come over to Aristide's and check if he was in one piece. Begin such young Mercenaries, mistakes made were plentiful and their flaws showed perfectly at this moment for the kid to enjoy. Error would lessen greatly as they aged and became more experienced with their titles.

Roman flashed a smirk in Medic's direction,"We caught them once, we can do it again. Just gotta use our heads better and make sure they are shifted when we knock them out. It would also be a good opportunity to see if everything is working correctly in the Spy. I just suggest using the Medigun at full strength so you won't have to use stitches." He planned to be present this time as he wanted to satisfy his own morbid curiosity. It wasn't long before they arrived that the facility and luckily they were going to be able to take a helicopter ride directly to the needed location which was only a couple of hours away.

He watched her and glanced down at the kid, who was still glaring daggers at him, when he was hit by an unknown semi truck
He lay on the ground under Scout dazed and confused as to what had hit him
The kid saw the chance to leave, scooting past Pyro and out the door
But the Engineer that had been frowning at Pyro for punching Scout, grabbed the kid by the shirt before they could leave and took them with him into the cabin again, ignoring the yelling and kicking from it
"I'm fine.." he breathed, grabbing Pyro to help him up to stand
"I'm alright.. ze kid 'ad me to knifepoint.. but.. I am fine.." he grumbled and glared at the squirming youngun

He hummed while nodding
"Good idea! I'll have to make sure my Medigun is able to take the strength.."
He thought more indepthly about that part of the plan as they arrived at the facility
Following Soldier, he thought about following the helicopter from behind, just to give himself a chance to stretch his wings
But it was said to be a couple of hours away, and so he wasn't sure if he were to really follow or not
Pushing his stuff into the helicopter he bit his lip
"You figure I could make it flying outside the helicopter for so long?" he asked aloud to the Soldier

"You let him pin ya at knifepoint?" Was the first thing to leave Pyro's mouth, but before he could question him any further, his immediate attention focused on the kicking and screaming child that Engineer had dragged back inside, "Are ya ****in' serious?" He hissed, he wasn't happy about having being suck with a child either while on their first contract. He sat down a the foot of the bed and sighs, "What's your name, kid?" He calmly asks while adjusting his rubber mask. Scout was already awakening from her daze only after a few minutes, Pyro avoided even looking at her as he was ashamed of what he had done, so pretending to not even notice her seemed like the best option for that. Pyro checks the time before shaking his head, "We need to go, now." He tells them before grabbing the kids arm and practically drags him out of the cabin, "For now, I'm watching him." He states as he storms out. Felice felt like he should ask the kid a few more questions as he lifts him up and sets him onto the raft, "How old are you?" was the next question he threw at him before explaining to the kid on what they will be doing, "We'll take you and the boat home, alright? But we have something really important that we need to do first." He points out towards the shore, "You see out there? There are a lot of bad things and people there trying to get their hands on something that's very important to someone. We were asked to get that something for them and that's what we are here to do by any means necessary. You understand?"

"You would think..I'm sure you could fly the distance with no issue, but keeping up with the helicopter is the real problem." He tells him with a chuckle, maybe they could figure something out on the way back. The flight only lasted three hours and the location they needed to reach was only a couple miles from the airport, it was walking distance, "I guess you could fly around on the way there." He suggested as he secures his bag over his back. He checked the direction before heading east from the exit of the building, however the closer the neared, the quieter he became. His nerves were beginning to get the best of his as he didn't know what to expect. He did call in to inform them of his arrival, but otherwise he walked in a trance-like state.
