1x1 Roleplay Fraus and Tigermeow

(I think they'd just take her away for a trial so the first one)

Gisselle nodded with a small yawn before hanging her head off the end of the bed. "Next time, take me with you and I'll be able to help, kay?" She asked, smiling happily as she looked down at him. She didn't want to scare anyone and was rather tired to do so. Instead she just wanted to reassure him

[Tigme]

Okay. Do we want this to be set up like the Salem Witch Trials then, or did you have something else in mind?))

"Well, hopefully we'll both be able to work next time." Connor sighed, and put his arm over his eyes. "Are we gonna leave this town tomorrow?" He asked Gisselle, feeling it might not be the best if they stuck around here for too long. Even without the worry of those strange men, the people in the town were acting strange when they saw him.

[Fraus]

(No, I'm good with that. What did they do again? Here they would see if they floated or if they could cut their hair)

"Yeah, I said two nights, didn't I?" She smiled before pulling her head up and putting it on the pillow. "A comfy bed at last" She breathed to herself, it wasn't long before she fell asleep. She could hear some strange things from the reception but decided not to question it, soon falling asleep

Well in the Salem Witch trial, one of the big things was they literally just listened to a group of girls followed by one lead girl who were literally only trying to get rid of people she didn't like. But some other things they did was see if they'd be able to free themselves after being chained to the bottom of a big body of water to drown, a method of torture to get them to talk was by placing a board on their chest, and pushing it down with stones, adding more and more as they refused to speak, and of course. They famous one, burned at the stake.))

Connor sighed, and smiled as Gisselle spoke about the bed being comfy. He laid his head on his satchel, and soon fell asleep himself. It had been a long and tiring day, and he was glad to finally get some rest.

(The last two happened over here but they were death sentences. Lets do being chained to the bottom of water))

Gisselle was disturbed the next morning as people were knocking on the door. She shuffled uncomfortable as they talked about giving herself up. She looked down at Connor, not wanting to open the door. She gently poked him with her foot. "Come on, wake up!"

Well, I mean they were punishments. But they often used punishments as ways to prove if they were a witch or not. Actually, there's this famous one where they hanged someone who was thought to be a witch and when they hang someone, they let the body sit there overnight. There was this woman who got hanged for being a witch, but when they cut her down the next day, she was still alive! They're not allowed to punish people for the same crime when they've already been punished, so they kinda let her go, and she pretty much went insane.))

"Hm?" Connor raised his head and Gisselle prodded him with her foot. He heard knocking at the door, "What's going on?" He sat up, and looked up at her, "Did you do beat someone up again?"

[Fraus]

((Wow, yes! I love history!)

Gisselle shook her head, still prodding him. "You answer it, something's off!" She wailed, rather scared as she hid behind the bed, looking at him urgently. "They want me but I don't know why! I didn't do anything, I swear!" She cried, terrified

When we were reading the play on the Salem Witch Trials[I gotta be Amanda for a day. :3] we also read a poem that told that story.))

"What?" Connor stood up, and he heard the banging on the door from outside, goosebumps running up his arms. He walked over to the door, afraid that they'd break it with how hard they're knocking. He looked back at where Gisselle was hiding before turning back to the door, and opening it up. He held his breath, trying to stop his trembling.

The men looked at him rather annoyed "Where's the witch? The one who lured you to be her wife? Don't try and protect her!" Gisselle whimpered silently as she hid, putting her hands over her head. Witch? She wasn't a witch. All she did was get revenge on the innkeeper... Gisselle's eyes went wide, letting out a small gasp. "That snitch!" She whispered angrily

Connor felt his face go pale, "I-I don't know what you're talking about." He said, terrified of these men, "She-she's not a witch!" at least, no more than one I'd be he thought, "A-and anyways." He hated lying, but he didn't want Gisselle to get in trouble, "She-she left hours a-ago. Wh-when I came-came-came back to this room, it-it was empty."
