Kyo only gave him a deadpan look. She would. At the mention of what Usagi might do, she only shrugged. "I could handle her. Why would I be scared of someone essentially named "rabbit"? Just don't tease anymore. It's easy." She noticed Mamoru seemed to be staring at something. She followed his gaze first to his apartment, then an unusual looking structure. It looked like the dragon shrines back home... Did these people worship dragons and the some divine being's essence in nature as well? "What are you looking at, exactly? I can't tell what it is. It looks like something back home... But I can't tell for certain."

Mamoru chuckled softly. "A lot of people have that misconception." He didn't worry too much about Kyo's threat. He doubted it would actually get to that point. And if it did, Tuxedo Mask knew how to protect others, so why not himself. Despite Usagi's name meaning rabbit, which he found to be rather adorable, her power was unmatched by anyone. "It's a close friend's home. It's a Shinto Shrine. Not sure what it would look like. We can go there if you wanted to see what it's like..."

"Shinto Shrine... They look similar to the dragon shrines back home." Kyo clarified. A visit would prove interesting. How different would it be-if there were any differences? "The shrines are dedicated to the three dragons. They watched over my land alongside my tribe before the land was colonized. The dragons were patron to the three tribes, another fact that distinguishes the tribes. Faron of the Zora, or Parella as they were known, Eldin of the Gorons and Lanayru of the Sheikah." She wondered what these people worshipped instead of dragons. "We hold tournaments to his honour, just as he did with the Sheikah and Hero in that era." They must have been fun. Lanayru could supposedly conjure up different battlefields and enemies. "It would be fascinating to visit the shrine."

"Dragon shrines... Interesting. I'd love to hear more. And so would my friend. We can go there next, if you'd like." Mamoru offered. Rei's Grandpa's Shrine was very nice, she made sure to keep it that way. "There's more than three kami that are worshipped, and so there's a lot of Shrines. It all depends on on local belief. Some larger, some smaller. Rei's Shrine is more of a medium size. I never really asked what she does as a miko, but I'm sure if you asked she could tell you." He stepped away from the window and looked to Kyo, "If we're done here, I can bring you there now. Only problem is we can't walk. And I'm not sure how you're going to deal with a car."

"It was said that Lanayru could create temporary dimensions. He'd create these with monsters for the entertainment of his subjects. And so the tournament is a part of worship." Kyo was curious about this friend. It must be her shrine. Back home Saori was the miko for the Thunder Dragon shrine. So shrines had owners here too... She'd have to ask this Rei character about the Shinto belief system. The view was amazing, but she wanted to see all of that up closer. The only issue was the car... She didn't like small places with technology. If they shut down there'd be no way to get out. She didn't to ask the size on the car. The last thing she wanted was anyone to think she was claustrophobic. Which she sort of was...

"Why would the monsters entertain? I can't imagine that being very entertaining. Oh you mean tournament wise. I guess that makes more sense." Mamoru nodded. He stepped into the elevator and waited for Kyo to follow. He was a bit nervous about the car thing, now that he thought about it. Many things could go wrong and he didn't want either of them to get hurt. If she got hurt, he could just heal her. But if he got hurt... That wouldn't end well. It was a rather expensive car too... But other things were more important than the stupid vehicle. "I parked near the shopping district. When we get into the car, don't touch anything I don't say you can, got it?"

Kyo - Base of the Tower - Uneasy

She didn't want to touch anything in the car anyway. "Understood." Honestly, she was uneasy. Any number of things could go wrong. She didn't want to think of what could happen if it crashed or something... It kind of freaked her out. "So what are cars exactly? I know they're a mode of transportation, but not much else." All this technology made her wish for horses... It was so much simpler. Why did everything have to be so complex here? She hoped it would be similar to the shrines at home. It would be refreshing in face of all this technology... She'd just have to suffer a car ride. Just one ride... "Just one, Kyo." She told herself under her breath quietly. "Just one..."

"Thank you..." Mamoru nodded. He lead the way outside and through the shopping district. "It's... Yes it's transportation. It's a metal thing with wheels and an engine. It's got windows I can roll down, if that would make you feel better!" He added the last part, noting how she didn't seem to like the elevator. Maybe open windows would help. Once they reached the black Porsche, he opened the passenger door for Kyo. "Here we are."

Kyo - Tokyo - Doesn't trust the car

"Hmm..." She eyed the car first, inspecting-but not touching-the buttons, doors and windows. What fascinated her was that the window looked black on the outside and clear from the inside. Was everything he owned black? Black suit, black glasses, black car... "The windows can... move?" She wasn't certain what "rolled down" meant in the sense of windows. She hesitantly entered the car and closed the door softly after ensuring her braid wouldn't get caught in it. It smelled funny in the car. She placed her open hands on her thighs to keep them from shaking. Kyo didn't want anyone to see her hands shaking. "How long will this take?"

Mamoru Chiba ~ Tokyo ~ Slightly Amused

"Yes, the windows can move! Just... Hold on, I'll show you." Mamoru made sure the door was closed fully before going around to the driver's seat. "Look, to be safe, I need you to take that..." He pulled the buckle on his side to show her. "This. There's one right behind you. Strap it around yourself like so, and connect it here." He pointed to the buckle as he did so as an example. "Not long if traffic's good!" He took out his keys and started up the car then rolled down the four windows. "There you go, no more windows other than the one in front of us and one behind us!" As the car started up, music began playing on the radio. A popular band called Three Lights. He knew them personally. Usagi had a bit of a... Run in with the leader of the obnoxious J-Pop boy band. He lowered it and sighed, "Sorry... Didn't think the radio was on. Unless you were interested in music as we go. Might help."
