Kyo - Tokyo Tower - Relief at getting out of the elevator.

"Yes. So? The three tribes who have made treaties with the royal family. The Sheikah, Gorons and Zora. Our tribes are close. Most of the time. The Zoras are a handful, but we still get along." Kyo was not going to bring up Eirenne. That woman could talk both legs off a dodongo. Every other Zora was fine. She raised at eyebrow at his attempt at humour. "I take no offense from that nor do I see the humour in it. My people did not name nor have anything to do with the settlement." Kyo found that despite the elevator being near empty, it still made her uneasy. So uneasy she was ready to almost teleport out of the elevator when the doors opened just so she could get out. Maybe she should just hide in Mamoru's shadow every elevator trip... "I am not familiar with what the Hylians were thinking. I've asked my guardian multiple times, but she would just laugh and say she had no idea."

"Hm, most of the time. Well... Then what are Zora? You're a Sheikah, you've explained Gorons, but I've got no clue what a Zora could be." Mamoru leaned against the wall of the elevator as they went up, crossing his arms. "Wasn't trying to offend you. I'm just saying." He sighed, shaking his head. He didn't think her people came up with the name. And with Tokyo Tower, yes they are his people, but he still wouldn't take offense. He knew how stupid the name was. He calmly stepped out of the elevator. "I think people are just... Bad at naming places. They tend to be after someone important or as literal as they can get!"

Kyo - Tokyo Tower - Scolding herself

Stupid response... Why did she speak without thinking sometimes? "Zora are an aquatic humanoid race. They differ from other races because of blue skin, fins attached to the elbows and hips, and pronounced noses. They also breathe underwater. It's a fact of their biology, just as Gorons are strong and fire resistant and Sheikah have heightened physicial prowess and shadow merging." She snapped her fingers and a blue stone shaped like a claw appeared out of a shadowy aura. "Each tribe makes an item for the other two races that grants the owner an ability belonging only to the tribe that made it. This stone alerts the holder to any oddities in the environment. It can be used for treasure hunting. It is the Sheikah's tribute to the other races. These gifts signify our unique bond."

Mamoru Chiba ~ Tokyo Tower ~ Interested

"So... Fish people. You've got rock people, shadow people and fish people." Mamoru joked. It was an interesting concept indeed. She had meantioned Hylian many times, he wondered if they were... Something to do with high... High bloods? High power? None of that made sense. He'd ask next time she meantioned a Hylian. "So you give people a claw thing. What the others give then?" Why a claw? That was strange... People don't normally shape stones into claws. At least no one he knew would..

Kyo - Tokyo Tower - Still enamoured with the view

She raised an eyebrow at that comment, but realized it was a joke and so said nothing about it. Kyo gripped the stone in annoyance. "It's called the Shard of Agony. It used to be one of our tribe's treasures. It wasn't only good for treasure hunting. It could sense malicious intent and warn the holder, even of other dangerous situations. It also keeps the user from getting lost, especially in a certain maze in Hyrule. It would work like a sixth sense." She snapped her fingers again and two articles of clothing appeared: a blue tunic and a red tunic. "The Zoras make the blue one. The wearer is granted the ability to breath underwater. The red one is Goron. It protects the wearer from heat exposure, and so they cannot die of it." The red one had her real name stitched in messy Sheikah characters. It took her forever to teach him just her name. "Big Brother stitched that himself. He's not great, but it's still readable. To Sheikah."

"Hyrule sounds pretty dangerous if you need a claw stone to do all of that!" Mamoru commented. "Death Mountain, Shard of Agony, Shadow Temple. That's all pretty dark..." Not that he wasn't used to the dark names. Villains he's faced included Dark Kingdom, Black Moon Clan, Death Busters, Dead Moon Circus... A lot of death and dark on those names. But for Kyo, it sounded like the dark names weren't exactly... Villainous. Which came as a surprise. Names of things that weren't villainous tended to be all... Moon power and flowers. At least for him and Usagi it was. He studied the tunics and laughed, "How are you supposed to read that?! It's a bunch of nonsense!"

Kyo - Tokyo Tower - Extremely offended

"So? This world can't be completely safe either when there are cops on every city block." Kyo deadpanned. "And it's only the Zora and Goron that use it! The Sheikah don't need the stone. It's only for the other races. I just keep it as a memento of my guardian." She crossed her arms and huffed slightly. She only scowled when he listed names of things of places. It was a good thing, she realized, that they were in a public place. Otherwise she'd maul his laughing face off right now. She snatched the clothing from him and glared daggers at him. "That's my name he stitched on there! And Big Brother has large hands, okay?! It's a miracle it doesn't look worse!"

Mamoru Chiba ~ Tokyo Tower ~ Confused at the sudden outburst

Mamoru frowned, "Of course it's not completely safe. That's what I'm here for. But we don't have anything to specifically warn us. The only people affected by the dangers are normally the Senshi and myself. No one else. If anyone else was harmed, Usako would never forgive herself." He huffed. What was this for? He meant everything lightly! He needed to stop with the teasing. He wasn't used to getting anger in response to his supposedly harmless jabs. At lease, not this kind of anger. He was used to Usagi's frustration instead. "I was joking! Please calm down, I didn't mean to offend you. I'll try to stop."

Kyo - Tokyo Tower - Still annoyed

Kyo stood there clutching the tunics to her chest. She was still glaring. What was it with him and his jokes? They weren't very good. How did his girlfriend deal with him..? "Your jokes are terrible... How can anyone do anything but take take you seriously?" She snapped her fingers and the tunics and stone dissapeared in the shadowy aura they appeared out of. "You'd better not. Unless you're so eager to lose your head. My katana could do with the practice..." She turned her attention back to the view. Kyo liked to watch the harbour and all the giant boats. It was impressive: even though they looked so small, they must actually be huge...

Mamoru Chiba ~ Tokyo Tower ~ Slightly amused

Mamoru rubbed the back of his neck as she commented on his 'jokes'. "I guess they're not jokes as much as me teasing. I guess that's why they call my relationship with Usako a 'Miracle Romance'." He raised an eyebrow. "You wouldn't, would you? ...I wouldn't if I were you. Usako can be terrifying when she's upset." He now put a hand to the front of his neck, wincing. She really did take all of this seriously, didn't she? He needed to be much more careful about what he said. Or perhaps she'd get used to it, if he stopped making quips about her home. He looked back outside and to Starlight Apartments. This view allowed him to see more of his district. He could almost make out Rei's Shinto Shrine.
