Kyo listened with interest. She scowled slightly at the mention of foreign influence. That was why everything was weird and people wore odd clothing. She bet the tux was foreign, because it had no place in Sheikah culture. How she wished she could have seen this place when it wasn't influenced by foreigners... It must have been so beautiful. So much more quiet... No cars. None of these weird huge cars that traveled on iron tracks or weird metal flying things. It saddened her to see Tokyo like this. And yet from what Mamoru said, it seemed beneficial..? She noted that England sounded a bit like the word English. "So... Do we go cat hunting now?"

"Well... I've still gotta pay. If Motoki would HURRY UP!" Mamoru shouted, leaning to glare at Motoki from across the room.

Motoki just shook his head, laughing. "It's on the house, Mamoru. Aren't you used to that at this point?"

"Would you let me pay for once? It's not fair to you guys. Besides, you don't know Gale. At least let me pay for her stuff if you insist."

"Goodbye Chiba Mamoru, have a GREAT day."

"Hmph." Mamoru stood and made his way over to Motoki, handing him money before walking down the stairs. "Don't want to hear it, Motoki." He waited by the door for Kyo. Cat hunting... He wondered what Artemis would think of that. Then again, he had more of a sense of humor than Luna. She was a no nonsense kind of cat.

Kyo Nagano - Crown - Slightly amused

Kyo covered her ears when Mamoru shouted, but didn't complain. Having pointed ears was a huge curse sometime... Why on earth would it be free? That was harmful to a business. She watched the two argue about cash. Even though rupees probably meant nothing here, she pulled out two rupees, a blue one and a red one, from the pocket in her sleeve. They might just serve as pretty trinkets to these people. She place them on Mamoru's pile of cash before running off after him. "Where does Artemis usually spend his time? Minako's House?"

Motoki and Unazuki looked at Kyo's payment confused at first, before each of them grabbed one and grinned at each other. Motoki leaned to look down the stairs and playfully shook a fist at Mamoru. "You'll pay for this Chiba Mamoru!"

"Just did, Furuhata Motoki." Mamoru said with a slight chuckle before leading the way outside. "Like I said, he's most likely to be a Minako's house. And... Where the heck is my car?!" He yelped, looking around frantically, momentarily forgetting he didn't take the car. "Dang it. Oh well, it's not too far from here anyway. Since Artemis isn't in headquarters, he's probably at Minako's house."

Kyo Nagano - Outside the crown - We didn't take your car here...

Kyo had to stifle a laugh threatening the one from last night when Mamoru did that silly dance. The expression on his face when he realized his car was absent was hysterical. It was almost as good as Link's expression when she would jump out of Link's shadow to spook him. To be honest, she was relieved they didn't have to drive. Being trapped in a machine was a bit terrifying for her. Whether it was a car or an elevator. She liked walking too. It was nice to stop and sniff the sakura flowers, her father always said. Except there didn't seem to be any here. Kyo followed Mamoru quietly. The noise of all the traffic unsettled her. What she wouldn't give for a quiet place with sakura trees. A midday nap sounded wonderful at this point.

What an idiot. At least Mamoru remembered they didn't take the car before he actually had a heart attack over it. It was nice to take a walk around the city, though it probably would be better if it were the park. Not as much noise as it was walking along the side of the road. "I've got no idea how this is going to work. Minako's parents most likely aren't home. And since Minako's not home... I mean, we could still try knocking. I bet Artemis would either open the door or hop out a window if he's there."

Kyo Nagano - Juuban district - Freaked out

Kyo had to admit the cars were starting to unnerve her, how they would zoom by with a loud noise and even honked loudly. It terrified her and she hated it. She usually loved taking walks, except when it was in noisy streets like this. With cars. Why did they have to be so noisy? Kyo only nodded slightly in response to Mamoru's statement. She was still on edge. As a last resort, she pulled out her flute to steady her hands and herself. She rarely played it in public since not everyone seemed to like hearing it. But she had no other way to calm down. She played a gentle and calm melody on it while walking. Now that she was focused on her flute, the cars didn't seem too important.

Mamoru looked to Kyo confused as she started playing flute, but after a moment shrugged it off. What a beautiful song... It was calming. People who passed by looked to Kyo, but this attention was better than what he got with Usagi shouting everything she had to say. People seemed more curious, wanting to hear more, than the usual disdainful glares. "Not too far now."

"This bamboo flute was my father's. He gave it to me shortly before..." Kyo didn't finish that sentence. She didn't want to think about it. It was not helping her stay calm. She continued playing the same melody as she walked. It would go a lot quicker if she wasn't watching every single step she took. And far more pleasant. She'd have something else to pay attention to instead of the cars. "This is a toned down version of my father's favourite song. He liked more energetic music." She swapped to a more complex and upbeat version of the song. There were some differences, but if one listened they could hear them. "Inform me when we are close. I have a habit of becoming absentminded while playing." Kyo resumed playing after that.

"No need to finish that sentence. I understand." Mamoru said, putting up a hand in a way to say to pause. He looked to the flute and smiled slightly. It was nice that Kyo actually had something of material from her parents. The only thing he really got was the Chiba family fortune. He'd never thought about it before, but it would have been nice to have something that had more... Sentiment to his parents, even if he didn't know or remember them. Hey, he didn't know. Maybe the money meant a lot to his father. He shook his head, paying more attention to the music instead of his thoughts. The new song was just as beautiful as the first. When they reached Minako's house, Mamoru let Kyo finish the song one last time before stopping her. "This would be it."
