Kyo - Crown - It'll do

"I wore this to a mask festival with Zelda once. Zelda was terrified of the takoyaki when I told her it came from octorocks, a monster. Even more when I ate it." Kyo eyed the stairs to the second level. It was close by, and they'd spend less time looking for food and eating. The sooner they finished, the sooner they could get cat hunting. It was practical and the food was sufficient. She saw no reason why not. "It will suffice for now. I much prefer my own cooking, but there's no room to be fussy."

Mamoru Chiba ~ Crown ~ Foood

"Octorocks? Sounds like an Octopus made of rocks. Why would you want to eat that?" Mamoru was confused at the idea of an 'octorock'. The name was a little on the nose, wasn't it? Octopus rocks... Gross. He gestured for Kyo to follow as he started up the stairs. Motoki, who at this point was perfectly fine and had no memory of the Youma, other than a strange sore spot on the back of his head, followed after and immediately started conversation with Mamoru. Before Sailor Moon popped up, the two were inseparable. If it weren't for the fact that Mamoru often wore glasses and Motoki was blonde, it would have been impossible to tell the two apart. That was back when Tuxedo Mask stole jewelry from stores in hopes they would be the Legendary Silver Crystal and Sailor V would beat him up for it. Since Tuxedo Mask met Sailor Moon, the two young men had somewhat drifted apart...

Once Mamoru sat down, he nodded to Kyo to do the same. Motoki pulled out a pad of paper and took down his order.

"And what can I get for you?" The blonde asked Kyo with a bright smile on his face.

Kyo - Crown - Smells okay

"No. They aren't made of rocks! They lanch rocks at you. That's why they're called that. The meat is actually pretty good. If you boil it till it's soft and drown it with soy sauce and spices." Kyo followed him up the stairs. The smell of food became stronger, making her realize how hungry she was. She almost jumped out of her skin when Motoki approached them with a cheerful grin. Ugh... This is why I hate cheerful people. They sneak up on you with a grin and do nothing but talk. She eyed the menu in frustration. It was in Japanese, not Sheikah. She wasn't going to admit she couldn't read it. Instead she glanced at the pictures on the menu. "Green tea, sticky rice and miso soup." Kyo said simply.

Mamoru Chiba ~ Crown ~ Amused

"Coming right up~ Unazuki!" Motoki cried, looking back. A girl younger than the group popped out from the kitchen and took the order from Motoki. Obviously, he was planning on pawning off the work to his younger sister and chatting a bit more with Mamoru, who was a bit uncomfortable with this idea.

"Gotcha. That makes a bit more sense." Mamoru chuckled softly. He looked to Unazuki with a wary eye. She seemed fine. He hoped she didn't catch any of what had happened downstairs. How great would it be to see a criminal turned hero fighting her older brother. But she didn't seem phased, so he ignored it. "Motoki, you should go help Unazuki. You know how she is with rice. Always messes it up somehow."

Motoki shook his head, "Alright, alright. But just gimme a moment. You never come around with Usagi anymore. She used to come every day, and so did you. Even before you two were together." He didn't notice Mamoru's frown, and continued talking. "Besides, I've never seen this lovely lady here before. Is she another friend of Usagi's?"

"No, Motoki. I talk to other people who are not Usagi and her friends. This is Gale..."

Kyo Nagano - Crown - Deep in thought

Kyo never said a word while Mamoru and Motioki were talking. She was thinking of home. And most of all Ren. She missed him so much. She wanted to hear him play shamisen when he thought no one was around to hear him play. Not even the sound of clanging pots broke her train of thought. Once this was all over, there had better be a way back. She was not going to stay here forever. She was absently tracing his name in imaginary Sheikah characters on the table. Kyo didn't even notice the compliment. Not that she'd care even if she did. Most compliments are hollow, people only use them to butter others up for favours.

Mamoru Chiba ~ Crown ~ Hungryyy

The two chatted for a few more minutes before Mamoru shoved Motoki away. "Go help your sister! Please don't burn Gale's food..." As Motoki finally left, Mamoru relaxed in his chair. "...Sorry. He can be worse than Usako sometimes. I think it's a thing with blondes. The only one I know that doesn't talk endlessly is Haruka." He watched the way to the kitchen eagerly, hoping Motoki or Unazuki would walk out any minute now. What a mistake not eating when he woke up was. He figured he'd have to start breaking his habit now that Gale was here, Usagi and the rest of the senshi are missing, and Youma are bound to show up.

Kyo - Crown - Huh?

Kyo still wasn't listening to what was going on. So when she heard Mamoru speaking, she didn't catch it. It was only after a while she realized he was even speaking to her. "Huh? What about blondes?" That was the
only word she caught before going back into her mind. "Oh... Sorry. I wasn't really paying attention. I was just thinking... What were you saying?" What was happening? She never got that wrapped up in her own mind. Curse these fluffy emotions...

Mamoru Chiba ~ Crown ~ Uh... Ok then

Mamoru gave Kyo a strange look. He literally just said what he had to. Wasn't paying attention? He didn't blame her. "Well uh... I was apologizing for Motoki. And I said that being talkative must be a thing with people with blonde hair. Usako, Minako, Motoki... Heck Ittou can be a bit of a chatterbox too. The only one I know that knows how to shut her mouth is Haruka. Or maybe it depends on how mature the person is, because Haruka's around Motoki and my age, but acts much older than him."

Kyo - Crown - Slightly embarrassed

"Oh... That's true in my experience too. Save myself, I don't know a blonde who doesn't talk often. Even Amy will talk the leg off a donkey once she warms up to a person." Kyo absently fiddled with a strand of her loose hair. She liked thinking about Ren. He had such nices eyes... Gods, stop embarrassing yourself! Stop daydreaming and actually listen! She shook her head slightly as if trying to shake the thoughts out of her head. "Maturity makes sense..." Kyo replied simply. "Zelda's mother is blonde, but extremely reserved. Ever since... Never mind."

Mamoru studied Kyo's face before shaking his head. "I was trying to start up a bit of conversation now that Motoki is gone, but it's obvious you've got something more important on your mind. It's alright, I get it. We've both got people we miss dearly. Hopefully we find out where everyone is soon. That way we don't have to deal with missing them too long." When Unazuki brought out a green tea for Kyo and a chocolate milkshake for Mamoru, he thanked her. He couldn't help himself. Crown was known mostly for their sweets, and chocolate anything was a great way to celebrate a victory. "I know how hard it is being away from home in a place where in a way, you're lucky they can communicate with you. If it gets too unbearable, we can go to my University and get Science majors to help you get home."
