Leo laughed at the doctors comment.
"It can be extremely tedious at times,sometimes they can just get a bit,rowdy."He laughed again thinking about how sometimes his defendants and even how the other Lawyers he worked with could get quite worked up.

"Oh,no.I was just trying to reassure you that it was okay,that is us walking into each other.I'm sorry that I snapped at you at first,I have an extremely low tolerance for well,anything."He admitted and apologised,he actually enjoyed the other mans company even though they had only been talking for a minute or so.

Leo hadn't really have a proper conversation in ages,only with his colleagues or passing conversations at a high society dinner.

Leo slipped his hand in his pocket and got out his cigarette case and his lighter,he lit his own cigarette and then offered one to James.

James smiled a little, at least he had not taken his comment to offence. "I bet. I once attended a court session and my ears were ringing for the next week!" A bit of an exaggeration but it was rather loud in there. "Oh, no, I'm sorry for bumping into you. And don't worry about that, you should see some of the patients I get." It was true, he had been yelled numerous times working as a doctor. He was almost a little pleased that he had bumped into Leo, he was different to many of the people he knew. All his fellow doctors and nurses were always too busy to sit down and chat. Heaven forbid if he had to go to one of his parents many extravagant parties. He got lost in thought remembering when he first went to one of those parties, he'd only been very young at the time, he never left his mother's side the entire night. He snapped back to reality when he heard Leo offering him a cigarette. "Oh! No, sorry.
I don't smoke." He waited to hear Leo's response, many a time people would make fun of him for it. A doctor who didn't smoke? How absurd! Smoking was supposed to be healthy for you after all. It just made him cough every time he tried too.

Leo laughed again."Ha,that happens to me on a daily basis!"Migraines and headaches were a common occurrence in the lawyers life.

"I don't smoke."Leo smirked at him."What a rare phenomenon,a doctor who doesn't smoke!"He proclaimed throwing his right hand up in the air with an exaggerated horror.

"Is your practice far from here?"Leo asked smiling again,if it was close he would be willing to walk the other man to his work.

He smiled, he was glad he was making Leo laugh, it was better than awkward silence any day. He pursed his lips, "I just feel a little sick after using them is all." He knew there was gonna be a reaction like that. He laughed a little though at his response, it wasn't the typical one. "Just up ahead, not too far. Why?"

"Fair enough."Leo admitted taking another puff of his cigarette,but he made sure he didn't blow the smoke in James' face.

"I'll walk you there,I'm late anyway so it wont make any difference."He offered wanting to come off as charming not invasive.
"My secretary is probably running around like a headless chicken right now,poor lad."Leo laughed,his young and inexperienced secretary worried about everything and was the clumsiest person he had ever met.

Leo scratched the back of his neck lazily as they carried on walking.

He appreciated Leo not blowing the smoke in his face, it was a simple gesture but it meant well. "O-Oh! Thank you!" He turned bright red, he didn't expect that at all. "You needn't do so." He became a bit flustered, unsure of how to respond. He laughed a little at Leo's comment, "Shouldn't you get to him?" He looked down at the pathway, trying to cover his face. He didn't need anyone to see him so flustered, it was quite unprofessional to say the least.

"No,no I insist."He replied not trying to sound too insistent.
"Ha,Its okay,he needs to learn that the world won't end if i'm ten minutes late."He chuckled looking at James who was looking at the floor.

"Its not a very important hearing,I'll probably just be sitting there bored anyway,my legs up on the desk smoking another cigarette."He told the other man laughing again,this would probably be true though.Leo didn't always take his job seriously,he knew he could make multiple stupid moves and no one would flatter an eye lid.He was at the top of his game,and he knew that.He knew his superiors would never fire him,he was a too important asset to the Law in the city.

"Okay, I don't want to take up to much of your time though." He laughed softly at Leo's comment, "He sounds like a hard worker." He looked up and at him and smiled weakly. "You can't really do that in a doctor's office." You can't really even sit down for a rest most of the time. "Lucky." He saw the hospital up ahead, he almost didn't want to go. He liked just the calm chatting they were doing, not the chaotic running around yelling orders he was about to have to do.

"I honestly don't mind,you have been good company to a grumpy old lawyer."Leo told James truthfully smiling at him.

"Sounds fun!"He said sarcastically,winking at him.Leo could be a really lazy man,at work that was but he did enjoy running.A long run was needed after a long,boring day.

"Is that your Hospital?"Leo gestured with his head in the direction of the building close by.He obviously knew the answer but he was being polite.

"As have you." He nodded at him, "Except well, to a doctor." He had just made it awkward. Although he loved a little chatter, he wasn't very good at it. He kept walking towards the hospital, "I guess it can be. Compared to sitting around all day listing to people argue." He laughed softly before returning his gaze to the ground. He turned to Leo and nodded, "I can see my nurse out the front waiting for me." He chuckled, somewhat nervously, "She's not going to be happy with me."
