"I love it." Brendon agreed, ripping a piece of his bread off and biting into it. He made a noise of approval, then sipped at his coffee.

“We should remodel the house to look like this.” Ryan joked, taking a sip of his drink and looking behind him at all the stacked up books, absolutely fascinated.

Brendon chuckled. "I'm down." He said, admiring the tablecloth. "I can't guarantee I'll read any of the books though." He shrugged and took another bite of his food.

Ryan grabbed a book off the shelf and examined it. He took another bite of his sandwich before flipping open the cover to read the synopsis. He hadn’t read a good book in a long time, so he was interested in finding a new story to take him on an emotional adventure. Although Ryan very well knew his own life was going to start a new chapter of its own before the dawn of the next day.

Brendon looked all around him, observing the whole shop. The scent of coffee and the warm colors were calming and peaceful. He sat back in his chair and sighed happily.

Ryan read the inside of the book and then realized it was a book about two lovers who were men. They had met through the music industry and embarked on an adventure discovering sexuality, romance, loyalty and love. Ryan bit his lip and put it back, taking a moment to process and let it all settle into his bones. It was almost like a sign, a go-ahead, a reason to push forward. He stared down at his sandwich, his mind spinning.

//*gets more ice cream* i'm read- *heavily sobs*//

Brendon leaned over and stirred his coffee with his straw, watching the liquid swirl with a little too much interest. He zoned out, starting to daydream.

Ryan thought back to his conversation with Spencer again, internally grappling with his sanity. "B loves you, anyone can see that... You two have something special." Spencer’s words echoed in Ryan’s head. He remained silent, staring at his sandwich. "From what I've seen that boy is head over heels for you." Ryan stared out the window, trying to collect his thoughts and make sense of them.

Brendon ripped the sticker off of his coffee and rolled it between his fingers absentmindedly. He looked down at it and realized where he was again. He looked up at Ryan to see him looking out the window. The light from the sun made his boyfriend's eyes sparkle, casting a slight yellow glow over him. He stared lovingly at Ryan without meaning to.

Ryan sighed softly and stared back down at the table cloth, taking a bite of his sandwich. He didn’t want tho think of how it could go wrong. He didn’t even really believe to any extent that Brendon would outright reject him. Worst case scenario, Brendon just wouldn’t be ready yet. Still Ryan dwelt on it. He wanted it to be perfect, although he knew it to be unrealistic, it was only a once in a lifetime opportunity and he wanted to get it right. He couldn’t help but dream of it.
