Brendon walked with Ryan to exit the shop, his hand feeling empty as Ryan released it. He looked around again as he stepped outside.

Ryan looked around, squinting as the sun hit his face. Up ahead was a spice shop with a chili pepper as a logo. Then to the left was a hat shop. The second shop definitely caught his eye as he saw a few interesting, quirky hats.

Brendon looked ahead of them, spotting the hat shop. He gestured towards it, "Wanna go in there?" He asked, intrigued by what he could see.

Ryan nodded eagerly, walking towards the shop. “I’ve been wanting to get some new hats for a while now.” He beamed.

"You and your hats." Brendon joked, following Ryan to the shop. He'd always thought Ryan looked good in hats, but had never really considered mentioning it to him.

Brendon spotted some cowboy hats on the other side of the room and went over to them, picking one up and looking at it. He put it on his head and looked in a mirror, laughing at himself. He took it off and went back over to Ryan, going behind him and putting it on his boyfriend's head.

Ryan was nonchalantly browsing. He was about to reach for a dark grey bowler hat when Brendon suddenly put a different hat on his head. “Uh-oh.” Ryan grinned, reaching for it. “What did you do?” He accused playfully.

Brendon grinned. "It's great, don't worry." He said in response, taking his phone out to take a picture before Ryan could take it off.

Ryan turned around, feeling the hat with a curious look on his face. He grinned at Brendon. “Is it a cowboy hat?”
