Beth watched Keona. Poor little thing, she thought. "Hi," she said softly.

Anhrefn growled. "Why do we exist?" She demanded.

Keona tensed a bit before looking towards the outside of the cell to see a woman there.

"You exist because you were created." Callen answered simply.

[Scottish9]

"But why did you create me?" Anhrefn continued, her voice taking a slightly-pleading tone.

"You must be Keona," Beth said.

"Why did I create you?" Callen echoed,"Because I could and I did, plus no one else really believed that hybrids could be made until now." He said.

Keona whimpered softly before slowly nodding her head.

"I'm Beth," Beth said. "I'm gonna be taking care of you for the next few days."

"What good does it do, though?" Anhrefn sighed.

(That's a good question, to which I'm not really sure. Want to PM about it to brainstorm some ideas.)

Callen looked at her,"You ask a lot of questions, don't you?" He asked.

Keona frowned a little,"I-I want Josh." She said softly.

"You're ruining my life. I have a right to know why,' Anhrefn retorted.

Beth sighed. Sierra had warned her about this. "Sorry, Keona. You have to stay here for a few days."

"If you say so." Callen said as he went back to writing a few things down.

"W-Why?" Keona whimpered.

"Hey!" Anhrefn yelled angrily.

"Because, uh...." Beth scrambled for an answer.
