"That must be really difficult," Josh said. "I wonder why they did that."

"There," Max said. "Let's take her to a lab cell. And who gets to tell Josh?"

Anhrefn tried to growl, but hardly made a sound. In her mind, she was seething.

"I-I don't know......" Raksha whispered sadly.

"You can." Sierra said simply as she moved Keona a bit so she was holding her in a bit more comforting position,"I'm going to get Keona settled down."

Callen watched her blankly for a minute he undid the straps and grabbed her upwards.

"Great. Throw me to the wolves," Max chuckled. "I'll be back," he said as he walked into the hallway.

Josh shook his head. "I sometimes wonder if they're all drug-addled," he confided.

Anhrefn wanted to lash out, but she could not.

Raksha glanced at him,"Drug-addled?" She asked.

Sierra nodded to him before she walked over to the lab cell and opened it before sitting down on the bed with Keona, giving the little girl her lion,"I'm sorry, sweetie." She said softly.

"Now, I'll give you a choice. Do you want to go to the commons room, or back to your cell?" Callen asked her,"If you can't answer, nod for the commons, shake for the cell."

"Yeah. They're around chemicals all day. Can't help but wonder if it's gotten to their minds," Josh explained with a wry chuckle.

Anhrefn sighed, then shook her head.

Raksha giggled a little,"I guess so." She said softly.

Callen nodded in understanding,"Let's go then." He said.

Josh smiled. He liked it when Raksha laughed; she looked so pretty. "It makes you wonder if they're the experiments."

Anhrefn submitted herself to being carried.

"And what? We're normal?" Raksha smiled.

Callen cracked a smile as he carried her in a bridal style,"That's a good girl." He said.

"For all we know, maybe. Anything is possible," Josh pointed out with a wry grin.

Anhrefn plastered her ears against the sides of her head.

Raksha smiled softly at him,"Yeah, I guess so." She said.

Callen glanced at her,"No need to feel embarrassed." He said before they reached her cell.
