Max nodded and began to prep.

Keona nodded with a smile.

Sierra headed out of the room and went down the hall. She reached the commons room before opening up the door and going inside.

Josh was snapped out his dreams by the sound of shoes. Only scientists wore proper shoes. He looked up and saw Sierra. "Oh no," he whispered, snatching up Keona and backing off.

Keona looked at Josh as he took her before looking at Sierra,"W-What's wrong?" She asked quietly. She couldn't understand why many of them seemed to fear Sierra. She was the nicest person outside of the chimeras here to the young child.

Sierra looked around before spotting who she was after. She began to walk over to the male lion faunus and the young one,"Josh, I have to take Keona for a bit again." She told him.

Josh grunted. "Can't you give the kid a rest? You've been traumatizing her!" He protested, holding Keona close.

Anhrefn began to come around. She snarled quietly.

Keona looked between Josh and the scientist, rather confused.

Sierra slightly shook her head at the chimera,"We haven't been traumatizing her, just helping her." She said before lowering her voice to a whisper,"Try not to forget our deal."

Callen glanced up from the microscope when he heard the chimera come around,"So you've finally woke up, have you?" He asked her.

Josh scowled, but he knew that losing this battle might help him win the war. With a sigh, he looked at Keona. "You'll be ok with Sierra," he promised, shooting a pointed glance at Sierra as if to say 'prove me right'. He handed Keona over.

Anhrefn grunted. "You could say that."

Sierra ignored his glance before gently picking up Keona. She then turned and headed out of the commons room.

Keona quietly watched Josh as she was taken out of the room before they went down the hall.

Raksha quietly watched what happened,"That felt intense." She whispered before looking at Josh.

Callen looked at her with a blank face,"So, I've found nothing wrong with you, yet you still had the audacity to make a ruckus and attack me. Why?" He growled a little.

Josh sighed and sat on the floor. "A few days ago, I didn't know she existed. Now? I'm willing to stop a train for her. She's not even my kid," he confided in Raksha.

"Why?" Anhrefn echoed with a harsh laugh. "Because I'm just an animal to you!"

Raksha quietly listened to him before a little,"The two of you grew a bond quickly. She saw kindness and trust in you, and you saw something that would love you and you knew you had to protect her. And while she may not be your kid, like Jax and Jake, you're a brother to her. A family not by blood, but by love and trust." She replied to him softly.

Callen slightly smirked,"And yet, you're still one of my favorites." He said.

Sierra soon walked into the lab, feeling Keona tighten her grip a little the moment she did.
