"Free house." Azel spoke. He stood and smashed his beer bottle beside his hand. "You are too weak and mild for my sister. You know she loves the bad boys and hot shot types and will leave you soon enough." Azel admitted.

Reuben looked at him, "At least I don't scare her." he said softly as he finished packing and picked up the bags so he could leave with henm once Delilah came back with Couer.

"I dont scare her." Azel spoke. "But I know what type she likes and it is not you." He explained.

"No, you scare Couer." he said as he looked at him and headed down the ladder.

"Don't care." Azel shrugged. "Soon you will realize Delilah sees you as a kicked puppy needing saving, not her future."

"I don't care, as long as I make her happy now." Reuben said as he loaded the bags into the car and waited for the girls.

Couer sniffled as she headed back with Delilah, hugging herself.

"Stop acting like a child and avoiding conflict." Azel told him. "The fact that you ran out of the house when I hissed at you says a lot about your personality." He spoke.

Couer looked up at him, her eyes narrowed, "You have become your father, and I know your father, and you knew what he did to me. I was trying to make things work and you did nothing." she spat him. She walked over and looked him in the eye, "I thought you were the love of my life, but you don't care, and I don't know if you ever did. And I left because you don't communicate with me, and you never, ever, compromise." she said, she shook her head, "I fought ith you enough, and I was hoping we could get past that, but that would mean you have to care."

"Coeur darling. You are in the way." Azel spoke, shoving her aside and continuing to talk to Reuben. "Stop acting like a child and avoiding conflict." Azel told him again. "The fact that you ran out of the house when I hissed at you says a lot about your personality." He repeated.
