"Thank you." Couer said softly as she looked at Delilah, she inhaled and then headed into the dining room again. Reuben looked up, knowing something was up immediately.

Delilah followed, sitting in Reuben's lap.

Azel was drinking a beer.

Reuben held her close and watched, very alert, he knew something was going on.

"Azel, we need to talk." she said softly as she sat down across from him, she watched as he drank, a shiver running down her spine.

Delilah tried to make it seem nonchalant. She murmured into Reuben's ear, giggling and trying to just seem like she was flirting.

Azel looked at her through cold cat like eyes. "Then talk hun"

Reuben nodded as he watched, he smiled and kissed her cheek, but he remained worried.

Couer hated that look, she looked at him, "I don't think this is working anymore." she said softly.

"I am surprised it took you this long to realize." Azel spoke, sipping his drink. His voice was cold.

Couer blinked in surprise, she locked her jaw, tears welling in her eyes, she stood and headed out of the treehouse, she couldn't handle how cold and uncaring he was. She'd send him the papers by mail if she had to, she headed into the woods as tears ran down her face.

Delilah looked at Reuben. "You have a good nose. Pack our things and Coeur's and meet up with us. I am going to grab Coeur." She spoke, rushing off amd catching her.

Azel looked at Reuben. "Ill help send her away." He laughed.

Rueben looked at him and let out a low growl, he shook his head and went to pack their things, he wanted to make things better, but Azel was a terrible man.

"Don't growl at me mutt. Your girlfriend isnt here to save you anymore." Azel hisssd.
