Max looked at him, "I need this alone time." He said softly, "Please?"

"Fine. I will be in my office..." Kenzie sighed, heading off.

Max whined softly, he shifted and lowered his head, heading out through the dog door.

Kenzie worked away.

Max didn't come inside, he didn't want to bug Kenzie anymore tonight, so as he did on any night that he wasn't cuddling with Kenzie, he curled up outside.

Kenzie waited up for Max's return.

Max was trying, but so much had happened in such a short time, and with both of them, so he'd never gotten a chanceb to talk before the next thing happened. He looked up at the sky with a soft whine, he didn't want anymore to happen, they all needed a break.

Kenzie worked throughout the night.

Max silently headed in when he heard the babies wake and began taking care of them.

Kenzie was in the kitchen now, making breakfast.
