Maria's body relaxed at the sound of the slightly familiar humming.

The shadow man gently picked her up and took her back to her own room.

Maria opened her eyes wide and squeaked, beginning to freak out as she was back where she had escaped from.

"Hey, hey, calm down." Tom said softly, trying to soothe her and settle her back down.

Maria looked at Tom and squeaked, escaping from his grasp. "Why am I back here! I left for a reason!" She spoke.

Tom looked at her, "Marius told me to bring you back, I had no choice and you know that." he said softly as he looked at her.

Maria turned away. "You have a choice. Just like you had a choice to hurt an innocent feline and witch or not." She spoke.

Tom looked at her, "You care about that?" he asked with a chuckle, "The cat was fine, and the little witch wasn't harmed."

"Of course I care about that. Hurting those who are innocent is not good. That is why I left. I am sick of Papa's ways." Maria spoke as she went into her closet, getting changed into cleaner clothing.

"I didn't hurt them." Tom repeated as he looked at her, "And you know he won't give up."
