Leita sniffled and shook her head, "She's got the baby to take care of." she said quietly, hoping the shadow man was gone.

Moss mewed for Wicca. Wicca came in with a yawn. "Yes dear?" Wicca asked Leita, going and sitting on her bed, picking her up.

Leita trembled a little, "He's not coming back, right mommy?" she asked as she cuddled close to her mom, what happened had clearly scared her.

Wicca shook her head. "He is never coming back Leita" She confirmed.

Marius looked at the man of the shadows. "New objective, acquire my daughter and bring her back." He spoke.

Leita nodded as she cuddled close to her mom, "Can I sleep with you tonight?" she asked quietly.

The shadow man smirked and vanished, appearing in Maria's room.

Wicca nodded and crawled into her bed, pulling her close.

Maria was resting softly, murmuring words in her sleep. Oddly, the shadow man's name slipped from her lips.

Leita cuddled close to her parents, feeling safer nestled in their arms.

The shadow man chuckled softly, he walked over and sat on the edge of her bed, he brushed her hair back gently.

Maria softly yawned before rolling over so she was now facing him. Her murmurs stopped and she did not wake.

Wicca held her close. Moss slept beside Thomas's head.
