Ashley followed Myre through the cave as the walls became brighter and brighter. She squinted as she finally stepped outside to see the magenta-toned skyline and various clouds surrounding the ominous stone pillar she had come out of. The sun was near the horizon.
This... this is nowhere near... This is so much different than my home... Ashley uttered in amazement. She looked forward to see rivers and pools of lava cutting through the rocks that made up the ground. Oh, now this

Vengar had never heard of Staunton or Virginia before. Could that be somewhere in this place or was it possible that Victor had come from somewhere else like Veneficus?

Myre shrugged, sitting on the edge of the cave. "I don't know how you are going to get down." She muttered, then started dripping off the edge. "If you follow me though, you might not die so fast." She hesitated, then gave Ashley a small smile before falling off the edge.

Victor looked around before shaking his head and rubbing his arm slightly. "I don't know what this place is." He murmured softly, then looked down at the ground. He thought about Staunton for a minute, but then focused back on the situation. "Perhaps we should make a camp. I don't know how friendly these woods are..."

Anuza nodded. "Do I need to gather any supplies? I can fly out and look for villages if needed." She seemed slightly apprehensive, though the cause wasn't clear. She seemed like she was about to add something, but she witheld her words.

? looked at Azuna hesitantly. I doubt the folks at the Copper Cobra would be pleased if I brought her there... All these newcomers need explanations, though, and they'll get them there. She pointed into the forest, tapping her bow lightly against a tree to get Vengar's attention.

Ethoni/Day 1/Sacred Summit/He's pretty much by himself right now, but he's open

It didn't actually take very long before Ethoni started to see some light up ahead. I really thought this tunnel would be longe- OHNO! The sun blinded his eyes, so he didn't see how short the ledge in front of him was, causing him to fall strait down. Before he really knew what was happening, his whole body suddenly got really, really cold and he ran out of air to breathe. He didn't know which way was up, but he saw light, so he swam towards it. Taking in a huge breath of air, he now saw where he was... kind there were a lot of trees, but this wasn't any forest he was used to. There was a sort of strange feeling attached to it. He looked down, to make sure he didn't lose anything in the fall. He still had his bow and his quiver, but all his arrows were under the water. Taking in another breath, he dived to the bottom of the small lake (or large pond) and grabbed all he could. Since the Hixiri aren't really made for water, he really couldn't stay under for long. After only grabbing two of his ten arrows, he swam to shore and heaved himself up to his feet. "Great... Just great. Now I have to wear wet clothes all day." Of course, he had better things to be concerning himself with. For example, "Where am I, anyway? Hopefully there's some sort of town nearby..." Something caught his attention at his feet. A slight shimmer. A familiar shimmer. Right there, at his feet, lay the very reason he was here. He picked up the gem to look at it once again. "I guess I have you to thank for this, huh? Serves me right for stealing you." Ethoni sighed as he slipped it into a small leather pouch attached to his waist with twine. Guess I should start exploring.

The girl wasn't lying. Ryu smiled. Unlike most people, who frown when puzzled, he smiled. "I see." That was enough to be getting off with, and the hybrid girl seemed like she wanted to be left alone. "Thank you." He'd run into enough Onis to know that you'd best give them what they want.
He started off down a cave at random, but turned on his heel and asked one last question before he went. "Is there any point in trying to go back home?"

Adria raised an eyebrow at the figure moving away. "Uh... Probably not. I've never heard of someone successfully getting back to their world. I wouldn't go off into the caves if you don't know where you're going, either. You'll probably end up lost in here 'til you starve or somethin'," she added bluntly. "Even if you get out, all three of the regions outside are awfully dangerous. I'd suggest heading to the Silver Serpent if you want a safe place to figure things out." She was quiet for a second. "I could take you there, if you'd like. If you really want to head off on your own, though, I won't stop you."

He sighed. Getting back would have to wait. He needed to know more about this world. "I suppose it would be foolish to venture off on my own," Ryu said. "I'd be happy to travel with you." He waited for her to start toward him. She was harder to read now, for some reason. Was that loneliness he detected in her voice? "Unless I'm much mistaken, I'm unlikely to meet anyone so friendly here."
