Elena blinked, confused, when she saw the man arrive. At his words she paled. What did that mean? Her brothers would never let her leave like that, they would rather kill her! So she shook her head. "I'm sorry... But my brothers won't allow me." she told the man, her voice clear and strong. Despite what they did to her, she wasn't broken inside. She had only learner to stay quiet when near them.

The knight gave a sighs clearly showing him being annoyed, his dark brown eyes closing as he said: "Miss... I don't care what your brothers would think, you have been ordered to come to the castle by the king himself." He crossed his arms while opening his eyes ones more. He lifts his head saying: "Now please get into the Carriage before I will push you into it miss." His voice was rather cold and he got back onto his horse ready to leave. He still gazed down at her without much care just wanting his orders to be filled. The carriage was opened by the person who had it and then waited for her to enter in. The knight turned his horse around walking forwards a bit as he said: "You need to hurry, they wish for you to take the spot as the princess." His sharp gaze going back towards her.

Elena hesitated. Take the place of the princess? It must be a joke. No, it couldn't be possible. But it seemed correct... Elena shook her head and walked forward to get in. Suddenly there was the sound of her grizzly like brother, Kaono, coming out of the house. "Elena? What are you doing?" he growled. Elena paled. He wouldn't let her go. Her brother ran forward and grabbed her arm painfully tight. "where do you think you are going?"

The knight watched her get in and got ready to set off towards the castle. Suddenly his face turned towards her brother and a small annoyed growl escaped his lips as he turned his horse galloping towards her brother after he took the arm of Elena. He got close to them taking out his sword clearly hearing the sound of it slipping out of its holder while the horse gave a small rear and nicker. He slashed the sword towards her brother but stopped before it got to his neck while his cold voice said: "Unhand her now! Or I won't hesitate to drop you here and now... she has orders from the king to go to the castle so you have no right to stop her." His hard cold face glaring at the man while his sword remained close to his neck. The knight knew they needed to hurry to get to the castle so didn't want any more time waisted, by now the Prince might even be there already.

Elena became very pale when the sword arrived close to her brother. She may not like him, but he was still a brother and she didn't want him getting hurt. She shouldn't have minded. Kaono scowled. "you'll hear from me." he growled. As he pulled away, he twisted her wrist quickly and strongly, there was a sharp Crack and Elena felt hot pain sear through it. She brought her wrist up to her chest, a grimace of pain showing on her usual smooth face. It was at the very least twisted hard. But as usual, Elena did her best to hide the pain and she went in the carriage quickly, her hand still cradled by her chest.

The knight lifts his head and placed his sword back into its place before turning his horse and said: "We are setting off!" He got his horse into a gallop while the people closed the door of the carriage. The two horses pulling it started trotting down the street soon going into a light gallop after the horse of the knight. The castle grounds getting closer in sight until they finally reached the area. They continued towards the castle until getting to the gates. After entering a man stood there with a small smile on his calm face while he had some papers in his hands. He gazed at the carraige as it came to a stop, ready to exsplain everything. The cold knight got off the horse walking over to the door of the carriage opening it saying: "We are here."

Elena stayed quiet the whole way, trying to suppress the pain in her wrist. When they arrived, the jolt brought a new grimace of pain to her face, but it was quickly gone. She blinked in the sunlight. Yes, this was truly the palace. Still cradling her arm, she climbed out and stood straight, facing the new person. She hoped he was kinder than the first man. "why was I brought here?" she asked. Then, realizing she sounded stupid, she added something. "something about me replacing the princess?"

The man watched her and have a small kind smile as he said in a gentle voice: "Please follow me... I will exsplain everything." The carriage goes off while the knight got on his horse and followed behind going off. The man entered the castle and started climbing the stairs as he looked over at her saying: "I am sorry for calling you here in such short notice... You can call me Miles, I am going to be your adviser and help you through this time." After reaching the top he stopped one of the maids who gave a small bow and he said: "Please get one of the princess's dresses for her, also ask one of the chefs to start up a meal for our princess here alright?" She nods and rushed off while he turned looking at Elena saying: "The princess has decided to run off after her father the king has fallen ill... we need her more than ever so we had to find someone to replace her for the time being, just until we find her... you are that replacement, it cannot be made public that you aren't the real princess so while here you will be known as Princess Kasandra and only a few people will know your true name and identity and it must be kept that way." He gave her a small worried look as he said: "I'm sorry if this is getting to much but we really need you."

Elena was very pale, swaying a little. It wasn't only the pain, it was the news too. Somehow she had believed it to still be a joke, or a dream, not something true... But now! It had to be. She looked down at her wrist. It had gotten bigger, which she knew happened when it was either broken or twisted. She hoped it was the latter. "I..." she couldn't talk.
