[Boomer]

Mary stayed by Maria's side, refusing to go. She watched the pups nurse.

Jocelyn returned with a bowl of food for Mary so she could continue feeding the pups. She put it down in front of her then stroked Mary gently behind the ears.

[Boomer]

Mary looked to Maria as she woke up. Maria groaned and looked to her puppies. "They're beautiful..." said Maria.

"They're adorable!" Isabella exclaims. "What are you going to name them?"

[Boomer]

Maria looked to the pups. "Eileen, Rebecca, and Jacqueline." said Maria, gesturing to each one. Mary smiled at her sister.

Isabella smiled. "Well, I think those names are gorgeous. Especially Jacqueline. Love that one."

[Boomer]

"Thank you." said Maria happily. She nuzzled the pups as they nursed. Mary sat up and yawned. "Well, at least they'll grow up in a proper home." said Mary quietly, "To be honest, we'd probably be using this time to find a way to escape the pound."

"Well, I'm glad you guys are living with us now" Isabella said truthfully. "And-wait, the pound is after you guys?"

[Boomer]

"Well, they would be if we were strays." said Mary quietly, "We'd only have a few days to stay here and find a safe spot to raise the puppies. But we don't have to worry about that."
