Anthony smiled at him. "I would love that! We can defiantly eat lunch together." He said smiling. "I will meet you there." He said to him and went to class. The rest of the morning seemed to fly by. He grabbed his lunch and went to the library and went to the little corner that Kacey had spoke about and waited for him. He hoped that Kacey would not get in trouble with Adrian for ditching them again. He hoped that it would be okay. He really did not want to get him in trouble with his friends. He took a bite of his apple and waited.

Kacey went through his classes, just waiting for lunch to come. He was a few minutes late coming into the library, since he had to set up the surprise for Anthony, but he settled down next to his boyfriend with a smile, leaning over and giving him a soft kiss on the cheek before crossing his legs. "Sorry I'm late, How's your morning been so far, other than the pain that is Eric," he asked opening the single can of pringles that was his lunch.

Anthony smiled when Kacey arrived. "Hey. It's okay. I figured you would have to give some explanation to Adrian. Things are good. Thanks for saving my hiding spot. It really means a lot. You really are the best boyfriend ever." He said to him. "The interview went amazing. They were really impressed I knew that much." He said to him. "How was your day so far?" He asked him. "Other than Eric of course." He added with a smile.

Kacey actually hadn't said anything to Adrian, but he didn't bother to correct Anthony, not worried about it in the slightest. He smiled slightly at the thanks, glad that his actions had prevented Eric from realizing that Anthony really did hang out there, but he ducked his head as the other tried to say he was the best boyfriend ever. He had a long way to go to meet his expectations. Otherwise, he was glad to hear that Anthony's day had been going well so far. "Fairly good so far,"Kacey answered happily, eating a chip and offering the can to Anthony in case he wanted any before continuing. "Classes were a bit boring, but I get to hang out with the most amazing person ever now, so that makes up for it," he said with a bright grin to Anthony.

Anthony smiled at him. "I am glad that you are doing good." He said smiling at him. He kissed his cheek. "Thank you but I am positive that there are people who are more amazing. There are a lot of people in this world. There has to be someone who is the best but I positive that it is not me." He said happily. He shook his head when Kacey offered him a chips. He finished his apple and put it in the trash close by before sitting next to him again. He put his head on his shoulder. "So when do I get this surprise you have been hinting at and you hope I am okay with?" He asked him.

"Well this is a 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' kind of thing. I think your the most amazing person in my world," Kacey replied honestly. He snacked on a few chips as he waited for the other to sit down again, and when he felt his head on his shoulder he smiled down at him. "Hmmm...." Kacey hummed, seeming to consider the question before nodding carefully so he didn't jostle him. "I suppose I can tell you that. You'll actually get it this afternoon, after school," he answered as vaguely as he could, since he didn't want Anthony to be able to guess what he had planned.

Anthony smiled. "Thank you." He said and looked at him. "That is exciting. I am really excited to figure out what you have planned. Should I dress up for whatever your surprise is?" He asked. He looked at the time and saw that their time was almost up. He sighed. He did not want to go back to class. He was having a lot of fun with his boyfriend and did not want it to end. When the bell rang, he stood and held out his hand to help Kacey up. He kissed him. "I will see you later." He said to him and walked off to get to his class.

Kacey shook his head with a smile when Anthony asked if he should dress up. "Don't even worry about it, I've got everything all set up already," he answered, even though he just knew that Anthony wouldn't have time to really do anything at all before he surprised him with the ask to homecoming. He accepted the hand offered to him and returned the kiss when he was standing. "See you," he replied, waiting a few minutes before also heading to class. Only a few more and it would be the end of the day and time for Anthony's surprise.

Anthony walked to his class and went about the rest of the day. He was too excited to focus and it was only getting worse as the day went on. He was so happy went class was finally done for the day. He walked out of class and went to his locker and slowly started to get his things put away as he waited for Kacey patently. He knew he would be waiting until the school cleared out but he did not mind. He looked around.

Eric got his stuff out of his locker before going and slamming Anthony's shut. "You should look forward to tomorrow. I have a bit of a surprise for you." He said and started away. Anthony sighed and reopened his locker.

Kacey actually appeared beside Anthony's locker not even a minute after Eric walked away. He was grinning and his eyes were shining with excitement. He held a poster in one hand, but it was folded so the other boy couldn't see it. "Come on Anthony. We have to hurry," he exclaimed almost immediately. They still had several minutes before everyone started to filter out of the school, and Kacey had set up a distraction for Eric and Anthony, but he wasn't sure how long it would keep them from going to their cars and heading home. He felt a little bad that he wasn't giving Anthony much of an explanation, but that was he point of a surprise. Once Anthony had gotten his stuff, Kacey took the other's wrist and lead him through the halls, ignoring the few looks and whispers that trailed in their wake.
"I really do hope your okay with this Anthony, but know that I don't expect an answer right away. I understand if you need to think about it for a bit first," Kacey said as they walked, looking over at Anthony with nothing but caring understanding in his eyes. He was leading Anthony down to the parking lot and just as he finished speaking, they came to where Anthony usually parked. Parked to the right of the other's care were Eric, Adrian, and Kacey's cars, all in order and across the back windows of the cars were the words "Anthony, Home Coming With -" Kacey turned to face Anthony, finally unfolding his poster board sign with a giant colorful "ME?" written on it. And he continued standing there even as the crowd of students came out of the school and into the parking lot, taking note of what was happening and pointing the pair out, waiting to see what his boyfriend's reaction would be.
