Anthony sent him back a thanks before he went into the interview. He talked to the man for a while and the guy seemed very impressed with how much he knew. He left with a smile on his face and texted him that it seemed to have gone well. He then drove to school and took off his suit jacket. He did not have time to change because he was already a few minutes late but he ran into the classroom. He got a few stares and he went and sat in his usual spot. He did not see Kacey and was worried about him. When class was over, he walked out of class and to his locker so he could get out clothes to change into. He was acting really normal but he was so excited and happy about what today had to offer. Eric was standing with Adrian in the hall talking. He had become one of Adrian's favorites.

Kacey smiled when he got the text and continued his mission at the store. It didn't take long, and soon he was pulling up into the school parking lot, smiling when he saw Erik and Adrian had ended up exactly where he had asked them to be. This would be a nice touch or revenge. It wasn't what they deserved, but it would suffice. He was back in school by the time the bell rang at the end of first period and he wondered over to Adrian and Erik, glancing back once to give Anthony a barely there smile so the other' wouldn't see.

Anthony gave him a smile back. He then started to walk away. He went into the bathroom and changed and put his clothes in his locker. Eric looked at Kacey as he came up. "Did you see what the nerd wore today? I think we need to knock him down a few pegs. Thinking he is better than everyone else. Also, who dresses up just for first period and then goes and changes? Whatever girl he has a crush on will never pick him to go out with. Seriously." Eric said laughing. Anthony had overheard. That had been what Eric had intended. Anthony sighed. They just always had to try to ruin his good mood. He shut his locker and started away.

Kacey just raised an eyebrow at Eric's remarks. "No Eric, as a matter of fact, I was out first period so I did not see what he was wearing, but I imagine he was so overwhelmed by 'how much better you are' than him that it was the reason he changed," he replied, his tone filled with sarcasm as he tried standing up for Anthony by putting Eric down. He only had to deal with him for a few more hours, so he was slowly dropping the nice act around the other.

Eric looked at him confused. "What is your problem? Your right though. He probably was overwhelmed. We are so much better than that nerd." Eric said and laughed a little. "I have to get to class. I don't want to be late." Eric said looking at him. He walked away and into his class. Anthony walked to his class silently and sat down. He looked around and thought. He wondered what had happened to Kacey so he texted him. "Hey is everything okay? You were not in first period..." He sent to him.

Kacey rolled his eyes as Eric walked away. Why had he even tried? It just went right over the other's head. He headed to his own class he had with Adrian and some of the other populars. He pulled out his phone when he felt it vibrate and smiled softly when he saw the concerned text from Anthony. Yeah, everything's fine. I just needed to go get something for that surprise..... I'll go back and get the work during lunch or something. he replied.

"Don't worry about it. I picked up an extra copy of everything and filled in the guided notes for you. I will give them to you later." Anthony sent back. He was glad that his boyfriend was okay. He relaxed a bit and took notes in his class. He was glad when the class was over. He went to his spot to hide from the guys. He was glad to have escaped being bullied so far and he was hoping to be able to continue that for the rest of the day. Anthony walked to his class when he thought the others would be gone but Eric was standing around talking to the girl he asked to homecoming. He saw Anthony and laughed. "So this is where the boy hides from us." He said.

Kacey sent a a thumbs up and kissing emoji before putting his phone away for a while. When the bell rang, he moved on to his next class, but realized he had forgotten his notebook for the class and had to go back to his locker and get. Once he had the notebook, he decided to swing by Anthony's spot to see if the other was hanging out there before class, but he was startled to see Eric and some girl's backs with Anthony facing them on the other side. He stood there for a minute, not sure what to do before putting a smile on and brushing past Eric. "Hey Anthony, thanks for getting me the notes and everything from class today. Sorry I took so long getting here, but I'll take them now," I call out to you as I approach hoping, hoping, hoping that you have the notes you mentioned earlier so it looks more like I asked you to meet me here to get them, than revealing this as the place where you hang out. I know it's the only quiet spot for you, and don't want you to lose it.

Anthony sighed. He knew that this was going to be really bad. He was not sure what to do. He looked up as Kacey came over and he smiled a bit. He nodded and took the notes out of his backpack and handed them to Kacey. "No problem." He said. Eric looked at Kacey and smiled. "Getting the nerd to take notes for you. Great job. I will make sure that Adrian knows your great work of having the nerd doing all your work. Now I am going to go. Sam and I need to get to class. Keep up the good work. I did not think you had it in you but you can use people." He said and left. Anthony sighed. He saw that they were alone so he hugged him quickly. "Thanks Kacey. I will see you later." He said and started to his class.

Kacey bit back the sharp retorts he wanted to give Eric and just nodded in response. He had to smile though at the other' last remark as he walked away. Yes Eric, I can use people when I want to and you will learn that later today he thought, before his smile turned to one of happiness as he returned Anthony's hug. "I'll see you to. Maybe we can eat lunch in the library so Eric doesn't make any sort of fuss? I know a little nook in the back of the library," I offer as we head off, walking slowly enough to hear your answer before heading to class.
