Eider's ears flattened against his head when he heard the siblings' argument. of course he sided with Mavis, as he did in every situation, but he knew the dispute hurt both Sam and Mavis. He waited until he heard Jason leave Mavis's room before scampering up a tree next to their house and landing on the windowsill outside one of the window in his girlfriend's bedroom. He meowed as loudly as he could and pressed his adorable cat face against the glass, hoping Mavis would recognize him and let him in. After all, he did just look like a cat with red eyes.

She opened the window and wiped her eyes. She had shut her door and it was locked now. She rubbed Eider's head before going over and flopping onto her beanbag again.. Stella whined and tried get Mavis to look up at her, but she was refusing to.

Eider purred when Mavis opened the window and hopped down onto the floor, padding gracefully over and pawing at her leg. He meowed sadly, and rubbed his head along her knee, trying to figure out how to make her feel better without using words. He carefully hopped onto the beanbag beside her and pressed his cheek against hers, purring and trying to tell her without speaking how much he loved her.

Stella whined again. Mavis wasnt fully liking two animals nuzzling against her. She picked the cat up and rubbed his side as the fox began barking as if trying to speak.

Eider gave up on comforting her as a cat and gently pulled himself out of her arms, hopping off the beanbag and changing quickly to human form. Thankfully, unlike many other shapeshifters, Eider's transformations weren't gross or weird; his whole body sort of blurred out as if he were in a video game, and when the haze disappeared and he was a human again, with a little bit of cat hair stuck to his sweatshirt. He sat next to Mavis and put an arm around her, simultaneously petting Stella with his other hand. "You know babe, we've never gone on a secret date before. What kind of couple are we if we don't get in trouble once in a while and sneak out for a night? I understand if you don't want to, but you seem like you need some cheering up. Maybe tonight I could take you out for a late dinner?" He paused and leaned closer to brush a piece of her hair out of her eyes. "What do you say, beautiful?" he asked, gently taking her hand and holding it in his own.

((Yay I'm on thanksgiving break now so I'll be on a bit more this week. And don't worry, if they do go out for the night Eider would never do anything too romantic, if you know what I mean. They definitely wouldn't take it further than a few kisses lol))

"Mavis.." Sam knocked her door. Stella opened it as Sam came in and Mavis buried her face into Eider.

Seeing as Mavis did not appear inclined to talk to Sam, Eider greeted him for her. "Hey Sam. What do you want?"

"Hey." He smiled slightly at Eider. Dispite how upsethe was. "I told mom the truth.. She said your ungrounded.. Im grounded for lying. I just wanted you to know. And here. Have my new iphone.. you broke your phone by accident because of me. " He was genuine. Mavis looked at him. Still cuddled into Eider. "Thanks.. And thanks for telling mom the truth."

Eider smiled at Sam as he turned and walked back out of the room before looking down at Mavis. "Well, now we don't have to make our date a secret," he said, but there was still a hint of mischief in his voice. He wanted to take Mavis out somewhere fun, so they could make their last Friday night of their break a good one. He just couldn't think of anywhere that they hadn't already been to...

"Okay. Let's go.. " She murmured. Sam handed her the phone and Mavis put her sim card into it and smiled. She stood up and took his Eider's hand
