Mavis just stared at Eider. "Good morning.." She finally let out a breath she didnt know she was holding. She walked over to the wall besode the pitch and sat on it. She clipped the puppy's lead on delphine and then checked the fox again. "Shh baby.. youll be fine.. you must be so scaredm.. I wont hurt you" She quietly reassured rubbing the fox kit. Delphine jumped up onto the wall and joined Mavis. Mavis sniffed and looked at Eider. She was still crying from a few minutes before. She yawned and looked at her feet again. She hugged her puppy and buried her face into her fur. Mavis's ears were as flat as they could be on her head and her tail was wrapped around her waist

Eider winced at Mavis's obvious distress and stepped towards her, careful to avoid the hostile puppy. "I'm sorry, babe," he apologized, and gently wrapped his arms around her from behind, leaning forward to rest his chin on her shoulder so that he could just barely see her eye out of the corner of his own. He smiled at the little pup, then kissed Mavis on the cheek. "I didn't mean to scare you. It was my cousin's fault; you remember Simon Jr.? He's always stirring up trouble." When she didn't appear immediately convinced, Eider stepped around her so that he could look into her eyes. He carefully pushed a strip of her hair behind her ear and smiled at her, the tips of his fangs revealed in his nervousness at having seen her cry. Ever since he had met her Eider had hated the sight of his girlfriend in tears; it always made him worried, and he couldn't see her shed a single tear without trying to comfort her. He leaned his head forward so that their foreheads touched and their mouths were only an inch away. "I'm sorry. You know I love you, right?" he said very quietly, a smile tugging the corners of his lips. He only hoped she would forgive him.

Mavis kept her head there and remained silent. Ahe whined slightly. It shown everyone or everything around them she was upset. She moved her head away from Eider's and buried it in his shoulder. Her ears were still really really flat against her head. She didnt move her head, or her arms. Delphine had calmed down seeing Mavis and Eider together now. She moved her head so her fringe fell back infront of her face. She looked at her buzzing phone and instantly knew sam was calling to try 'make up' with her

Eider slowly pulled away so Mavis could look at her phone. He saw who the message was from and instantly understood the situation. "Hey babe," he started, an idea forming in his head. "Do you have anything to do today? I know I don't. Since winter break's almost over and we still haven't set up a date, why don't we make today our special day? Have some Mavis-and-Eider time?" He grinned, hoping she would say yes. They hadn't actually been out on a date for over 2 weeks, partially because they had both had vacations planned, partially because Eider had been sick for a few days, and partially because Liam had broken one of Eider's arms that had, thanks to his rapid healing abilities, mended over a few days. Now was most likely their only opportunity to hang out before school started again, which Eider was not looking forward to, especially since they were juniors in high school now, supposedly the worst of all 4 years.

Mavis' face lit up and she nodded her head. she was still crying but it slowly stopped. "Sam is so annoying.." She murmured. "Can I leave these two at home first?" She gestured to her pets.

Eider grinned, pleased that she had said yes. He nodded. "Yea, I don't know him super well, but I know older brothers can be a pain. And I can teleport us all to your house real quick if you want to drop of these puppies."

"Yeah" She smiled and took his hand. She held the dog's lead and her fox pup. She smiled and kissed Eider's cheek. She rested her head on his shoulder. She was adorable

Eider hugged her with one arm and used his other hand to perform the teleportation spell. His made several signs with his fingers, and after the third one the world around them disappeared and they fell into the void between worlds. He held tightly onto Mavis, still gripping her hand in his own. He heard the fox pup getting frightened but couldn't do anything about it; if he didn't follow through with the spell, they would be trapped between dimensions for all eternity. He performed another several movements with his hand, and suddenly they were standing in Mavis's room.

Mavis smiled and flopped backwards onto her bed. The fox pup lay down on her. "Get used to it..." She murmured. Delphine barked and soon began speaking "I feel ill.." Mavis smiled. "Yeah that happens.." Her winged wolf pondered out from under the bunk of her bed and nuzzled against her. Mavis smiled and looked at the door. She stood up and opened her room door. She moved her hand over the fox's ears and shouted "DAD!!"

Eider had been to Mavis's room many times and had grown to like the winged wolf. When he saw her Eider smiled and rubbed the animal's head. Eider winced at his girlfriend's loud voice and stepped slightly away from Mavis's bed. Even though he knew Jason was a nice guy, he still always felt slightly nervous around his girlfriend's dad.
