Sano opened the door to the cabin and sat down next to Kenshin

Lakyn is asleep on the couch, wrapped up in a burrito blanket


Avalon continued to think, “I made a promise to my dying father that I will kill Miguel before I can relax and have a close relationship with a boy.” She said as she thought of sanosuke

Rosalia nodded before sighing. "Just stay alive." She said simply.

Sano looked at him, "You know what those two are planning, dont you?" He asked

Avalon nodded “I don’t plan on dying if I do I have three people that won’t forgive me for it and one I really don’t want to hurt in anyway.” She said with a sigh.

Kenshin nodded at him “yes it has to be done.” He said looking at Sano, “our jobs as her friend is to support her and keep out of her way.” He said with a sigh

Lakyn shot up when she knew what they were going to do, she knew Rosalia could do it but Miguel nearly killed Avalon last time. She got off the couch and ran for the door

Sano grabbed her, "Oh no. You are staying here Lakyn. Aint no need for you to get hurt." Sano said looking at her.

Rosalia smiled, "Well why are we being slow?" She laughed before taking off in a sprint

Lakyn tried to get free from Sanosukes grip, “you don’t understand Av, can’t go into this fight not again, she almost died the last fight with Miguel.” She said as she started to cry “Av promised that she wouldn’t go into the death fight with Miguel ever again.” She said as she fully cried.


Avalon stoped in her tracks, thinking, could she do it? What if this time she doesn’t make it back? Does she have the right to be happy? then she caught up to Rosalia “I will do it, I need to do it, Lakyn and you have the right to be happy and less worried.” She said looking at her friend she was putting her friends feelings before her own again.
