"It's an animal shelter," he informed Kodi, smiling at him. "I know what you said earlier, but we could at least go in and look?" Jachin suggested, trying to tempt him.

[cswolf.]

"I guess we could go look but I make no promises. None of them will be like Rory..." Kodi pouted as he went inside with him. Though after a couple minutes the lady lead them to a cell where a three legged cat was mewing and playing with a toy mouse. He was black with a white tipped tail and paws.

Jackal;
"He had a home, though. These ones just have a little cage," Jachin said, really trying to sell it to him. He nudged Kodi gently as he looked at the three-legged cat. "Hey look, it's Rory the Second," he grinned.

[cswolf.]

Kodi knelt before the kitty and gave a little meow. The cat came barreling over, eager to meet them. "Well hello to you too." Kodi giggled as the cat meowed and meowed.

Jackal;
Jachin watched as the cat came running over. "I think it just chose you," he chuckled, crouching down next to Kodi.

[cswolf.]

Kodi smiled and got the door opened. The cat jumped into his arms. "I think he just did." He grinned. The cat purred. "Can we take him home?" He asked Jachin.

Jackal;
"Yeah, of course," he nodded, smiling down at Kodi. Jachin reached over to stroke the cat when it jumped into Kodi's arms.

Kodi grinned happily and took the cat, now named Rory, over to the lady so that he could fill out all the paperwork.

Jachin followed Kodi over, standing beside him when he stopped. "You callin' him Rory?" he asked.

[cswolf.]

"Yup, that other cat was named something different so this is the true Rory." Kodi giggled happily as Rory was finally adopted and the lady gave him a collar to place upon the three legged feline. Kodi was delighted.
