Jachin smiled and pulled Kodi closer, wrapping his arms around him protectively. "What a day," he said quietly, leaning his head back against the side of the van.

"I agree." Kodi spoke softly. He was petting Bumble softly as he stared out the window. He really was looking forward to having another cat.
"The real owner came and picked the cat up. Kodi is heartbroken..." Dmitri texted Gideon with a soft sigh. The van had become full with an heir of sadness.

Unsure what to say, Jachin sat quietly with his arms still around Kodi as they drove.

Gideon;
At some point Gideon had accidentally fallen asleep, although he was a light sleeper and hearing his phone buzz he woke up again. "Oh, I'm sorry," he text back, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"I just thought I would tell you so that you didn't expect a picture of the cat." Dmitri texted him. Kodi wasn't sad long as Bumble worked her magic to make her owner laugh again.

Gideon;
"That's okay," he answered, sitting up again. How about you? Are you alright?" Gideon added, realising he hadn't asked this before. "No-one got hurt earlier?"

"We are all fine." Dmitri texted him. "Just some emotional pain from the two who were captured but some R & R should fix them right up." He added on.

"Good," Gideon smiled, glad to hear that they were all okay.

Isaac stopped the van in front of a animal shelter. "Oops, seems like we are out of gas. I am going to have to walk to the store to get some." He spoke with a wink to Jachin.

Jackal;
"Here," Jachin said, leaning over the seat to pass some money to Isaac for the gas. He then looked out the window at the animal shelter, grinning. "Hey Kodi, guess what's outside," he said, moving back over to him.

Isaac thanked him. The van didnt really need too much gas but he would fill it anyways. He took Dmitri with him just in case. Kodi looked over at him. He rose a curious eyebrow.
