Jachin looked down at Kodi, surprised by the question. "Of course," he smiled, placing a kiss to Kodi's forehead.

"You could have brought the cat to me," Gideon text back, after reading Dmitri's messages about the injured cat. "I don't know how we'd explain it but I could have helped it."

Kodi nodded and hugged him. "I'll still keep an eye out for your chosen little kitty." He teased him as he hugged him.

"We were too far from you. We wouldn't have gotten there in time." Dmitri texted as he listened to music in the van with Isaac. "We did steal a nice van tho." He added on into his text before sending it.

"I think this cat will be fine," Jachin answered. "There's only so many cats I can handle at one time," he chuckled.

"True," he replied, leaning against the kitchen counter as he text back. "Sounds exciting," Gideon added a few moments later.

"Ok, but don't be surprised if you come home..." Kodi began. "I mean back to my apartment one day and suddenly meet another kitty." He murmured as the veterinarian suggested they go to the sushi bar beside the clinic for some dinner while they wait for the cat to have his surgery and be ok enough to go home.

"It is exciting but I wish you were here too." Dmitri texted him back as he sat, petting Bumble.

"What about a dog?" he suggested. "I'm definitely a dog person. Do you think the cats would get along with one?" Jachin questioned, nodding at the vet and then taking Kodi's hand to lead him back outside to get the others.

"Sorry. I would have come with you but I had work earlier," Gideon responded, leaving the kitchen so that he could sit on the couch while he spoke to Dmitri.

"Oh, I would love a dog!" Kodi spoke excitedly. "I am sure Bumble will get along with a dog but we can just wait until the little kitty settles in before we test him with a dog." He explained as he left with Jachin. They were making a little home now it seemed. Kodi liked it.

"It is all good. You must be tired aren't you?" Dmitri texted him as he greeted Kodi and Jachin.

"Well, that's settled then," Jachin grinned. He stopped next to the van, still holding onto Kodi's hand. "You guys ready to eat?" he asked.

"I'm always tired," Gideon admitted, sitting with his feet up on the couch. "I'm going to take some time off work. Using my powers so often isn't doing me much good."

Bumble meowed and Kodi picked her up, sliding her back into Jachin's pocket. He had lost his jacket to the kitty. He would get it back later with the sleeping kitty. He began to brainstorm name ideas. Dmitri nodded and followed them to the restaurant. "Are you sure the clinic will survive without you?" He texted him. Isaac followed them as well after locking the van.

He looked down as Kodi put Bumble back into his pocket, and reached down to stroke under her chin. Once the others were ready, Jachin lead the way over to the restaurant, stopping to hold the door open for everyone.

Gideon;
He laughed softly at Dmitri's response. It was a good question - Gideon had been working there for years, and something was bound to happen without him around. But he needed a break. "Hopefully they'll manage," he text back.

Kodi thanked Jachin and soon they were all sat. Kodi made sure that when they all ordered that he got an extra small portion to feed to Bumble who was hiding in Jachin's pocket, purring faintly. Dmitri hummed. "I hope so. We are currently getting sushi and Bumble, the cat, is hiding in Jackal's pocket. It is funny." He texted with a chuckle.
