"I feel personally threatened with them being in the same room as me," Jachin stated. "Look what you've done, you've given me an irrational fear of handcuffs," he pouted in a playful manner. " 'sides, I'm not gonna do anything. I promised, didn't I?" Jachin smiled sweetly, before adding with a chuckle, "you can hold my hands if you really want to."

"I am half-tempted to stick googly eyes on them when you sleep and hang them in front of your face now." Kodi murmured with a tease. "Look at me, already having evil thoughts and I have only been in your presence for a couple of hours of my life." He laughed as he watched him. "You may have promised but promises can always be broken so I guess I should hold them for precautionary measures." He explained as he smiled sweetly and gently took his hands, holding them to his chest. "No escaping now..." He teased.

"I clearly have a big influence on people," he laughed, before putting on a more serious expression. "Seriously though, don't do that. I'm gonna have nightmares now," Jachin said sternly, although he was stifling his laughter. "I never break my promises-" he spoke, then went quiet as Kodi took his hands. He looked at him for a few moments, before breaking out of his initial surprise. "Oh no, you got me," he grinned, moving around so that he was laying on his side more comfortably, facing Kodi.

"Apparently. Are you sure mind control is not a power of yours?" Kodi asked him curiously with a smirk upon his face. He had forgotten all about twarting this villain or what this guy was really up to that was worth containing him for. "Now that I think about it, I might be able to contain you better than the jail can..." He commented as he watched him. He gave another yawn and now entwined their fingers to keep his hands more secure in his grip. He became silent and just watched him, curious.

Jachin shook his head. "No... I don't think so. Or maybe it is, and I just don't know it," he chuckled. "And I think you're right. Not sure anyone would hold my hands in jail," he snorted, before going quiet as he thought for a few moments. "This is more like house arrest," Jachin added, looking at their hands as Kodi entwined their fingers. "You're yawning now. You sure you don't want to sleep?" he asked with a smile.

Kodi chuckled as he watched him. "Nobody would hold your hands but they would have plenty of handcuffs upon you." He explained to him simply. "I am sure. I cannot risk you running away on me." He grinned. "Unless I do this..." He spoke, releasing his hands and instead, wrapping his arms around Jackal to bring him closer, laying his head in the crook of his neck tiredly. "There, now I will know if you try and escape..." He spoke sleepily. He didn't really care for the consequences at the moment, he had been alone far too long.

When Kodi wrapped his arms around him, Jachin felt his face start to heat up, and boy was he was glad that Kodi wouldn't be able to see him blushing from his position. "I don't really want to escape now, anyway..." Jachin admitted softly, slowly putting his own arms around Kodi, resting them just above his hips. "Tonight has just been full of surprises," he commented, laughing quietly so he didn't disturb Kodi.

Kodi had to admit he had a blush upon his face as well but luckily Jachin could not see as he had hid his face in the crook of his neck. He listened to him with a small chuckle before he began to fall asleep. At five o'clock in the morning there was a banging on the door. "Jackal! It is the Trinity State Service Troopers. We know you are in there! We got a tip from one of your clients that you are the one responsible for all of the recent murders around this area. Come out with your hands up and we will not hurt you. You are surrounded, do not try anything stupid!" The police yelled. Kodi awoke quickly and fell off the bed with a bang. He groaned. "Is there a hostage in there! Don't do anything stupid!" The police continued.

Jachin remained awake for a while longer, unable to fall asleep despite how tired he felt. It was probably due to his current circumstances. Eventually, though, he drifted off with Kodi still in his arms. He was woken rather abruptly not too long later, though. The first thing he noticed wasn't the people at the door though - it was the fact that Kodi wasn't in his grasp anymore. "Kodi?" he asked groggily, glancing over the side of the bed. It was only when he heard a man yelling about a hostage that he realised what was going on. "Kodi, come on. We gotta go," he said hastily, sliding off the bed and getting to his feet, and then holding out a hand to help the other man up off the floor.

Kodi groaned and took his hand away from his head. It was covered in blood from when he hit his head. "Welp, that is a problem..." He spoke woozily as he grabbed his tools and supplies, quickly shoving them back on. He looked at Jackal. "You head out through the shadows, I will throw them off your trail..." He murmured. He slipped the handcuffs into Jachin's back pocket for a surprise later. He watched him leave before he walked to the door, explaining everything to the police at the door, giving them a complete lie about how he was lurking in the apartment, waiting for Jackal to return when he was startled off the bed and got his injuries. He let himself be whisked away to the hospital for stitches, knowing Jackal would live to cause another problem. He gave himself a small smile at the thought.
