Kodi saw him and he left the den. "I am sorry, I didn't know this den was yours." He spoke as he nudged him with his nose. "You get back in your den, I will go find another place to hide from the rain." He spoke, beginning to leave.

[wolf?]

Ash stopped him, "No, It's fine, you stay here. I'm used to this." he told Kodi, looking up at him with a small smile across his muzzle. Ash had been stuck in far too many rain-storms to count, and he didn't want Kodi to have to deal with the same thing as he did.

[cswolf.]

Kodi shook his head. "No, it is your den. Go back inside I will find somewhere else." He spoke as he began to pad away to find a different den.

[wolf?]

"Kodi, please. You helped me out when I wanted something to eat, now I'm gonna help you with somewhere to stay. It's only fair..." he said as he stood up and trotted over to the brute's side.

[cswolf.]

Kodi shook his head. "I am not taking your den while you are out in the cold. I can find someplace." He explained to him, continuing to walk away.

[wolf?]

Ash stayed by his side, "If I shift, we could both fit. We both get out of the rain." he said as a compromise. Once Ash learns to trust someone, he can become very stubborn when it comes to helping them out in times of need.

[cswolf.]

"Fine, if we shift we should be able to fit." Kodi spoke as they walked back to the den. He shifted human and sat down inside the den with the human Ash. He looked out and watched the rain as it came down. He listened to rain as he fell and let it lull him into a nice sleep.

[wolf?]

Ash sat beside him in the dry warmth of his small den, watching as he fell asleep. Ash wondered when the wedding would take place, and why the current alphas couldn't join the packs themselves. No matter how hard he tried, Ash just couldn't find the will to sleep as his gaze kept bouncing between the rain outside and Kodi as he slept peacefully.

[cswolf.]

Kodi let himself sleep as the storm roared outside.

Ash fell asleep eventually, listening the raindrops patter on the forest floor.
