Kodi chuckled as he knew he had the advantage in this game of chase because he knew the territory better than Ash did. He grinned as he weaved in and out of trees to confuse Ash before slipping into the water and shifting human, hiding beneath the water so that Ash could not find him nor tag him back. He swum under the water, making sure not to cause too many bubbles or cause the water to ripple too much so to indicate where he was.

[wolf?]

Ash skidded to a stop at the edge of the water, he smelled Kodi's scent, and idly had stopped right where he stood. Ash paced along the edge of the water, waiting for him to go to the surface.

Kodi surfaced across the lake before climbing onto the lakes edge on the other side where Ash wasn't. He stuck his tongue out at him before shifting wolf and running back into the forest and heading for another lake to hide in which was miles away. He chuckled as he ran, having fun for once.

[wolf?]

Ash watched as Kodi popped up on the far side of the lake, he growled a bit and decided to go around the lake instead of through, just because it was small. Once he got to the other side, Ash followed Kodi's scent once more. Ash ran as fast as he could in an attempt to catch up to the other before he got to another lake.

Kodi knew his tactics were dirty but he couldn't help it if he knew the territory better than the rogue. He knew Ash knew he was going for another lake so he went a different route to the lake, continuing to dodge in and out of trees. He was trying to make his scent trail as difficult as possible for Ash to follow. He was a strategic player of what has now turned into hide and seek slash tag. He chuckled happily as he ran, having fun.

Ash followed his scent as best he could, but figured out that there had to be a faster way there. He knew which way Kodi had started off going, and went that way instead, hoping to get to the other lake before his new-found ally.

Kodi made it to the lake but bumped right into Ash. He smiled and laughed, backing up and panting. "That was a lot of exercise." He spoke with a laugh. He was panting and he yawned. "I have not had that much fun since I started my alpha training." He revealed as he plopped down near the lake. He began to slurp up some water.

[wolf?]

Ash laughed with him, "I'm used to the constant running... I guess you have to get used to it when everyone on earth hates you." he said as he lapped up some water himself. He froze when he heard that Kodi had been either Alpha, or would be soon. "Alpha training?" he asked, stiffening up a bit. Ash had no idea that he had ran into a high ranking werewolf, and that put him on edge a bit.

"Not everyone on earth hates you. I don't hate you." Kodi spoke as he drank eagerly from the lake. He soon sat down and shifted human, looking at Ash. He noticed him freeze and he got confused. "Yes, alpha training." He confirmed. "I am to be the alpha of the West Winds pack soon. That is why I am marrying that female, to unite two packs..." He explained with a sigh, looking away. He knew his new friend would run away now.

Ash shook his thick fur before phasing back to his human form, he sat and looked over at Kodi with a confused expression. "I don't understand... If you are so upset with what they are forcing you to do, why don't you just run away?" he asked curiously. That was what he would do at least.
