Nikko shook his head a little. "I don't mind at all." He said looking at Kodi. "I am comfortable too." He said. He smiled at him. “You know, you are pretty adorable right now.” He said. He was happy here and really did think he was cute when he was being shy. He felt that this felt more like the real Kodi.

Kodi released a sigh of relief as Nikko agreed to continue to let him lay there with him. "Hey, you do not call a big and fierce alpha heir that he is adorable." Kodi teased him as he listened to the rain and thunder boom. "I should tattle to my papa that you are bullying me." He laughed as he laid his head back down and closed his eyes in contentment once more.

“Right.” Nikko said smiling at him. “But I think I get a pass because it is true and I am not in your pack.” He said to him. He was happy joking with him. He was having an amazing time with him and was really hoping that they could find a way to make this work because he felt like this was perfect. “With how bad this storm is, you might be stuck here for a while. I don’t want you to go out in a storm.” He said to him.

Kodi nodded. "I guess I need to give you a pass on that." He spoke with a chuckle. He considered this to just be friends hanging out, nothing more. When he spoke about staying at Nikko's house he wiggled up and nodded. "Ok, just let me do this." He spoke as he opened the window and stuck his head out. He let a howl out to say to his pack he found a den to hide in and he would be home when the storm was over. He heard howls back before he brought his head in and shook out his hair. He looked back at Nikko. "There, I should be good to stay until the storm is over. The other wolves will not leave the pack house anyways."

Nikko smiled at him. “Good. I really appreciate that I get a pass.” He said laughing a little bit. He stayed laying there while he watched Kodi walk over and let the pack know he would stay during the storm. “Good. That is true and they should stay inside. This storm is looking pretty brutal. It sure is coming down.” He said and sat up and looked at him. “What would you like to do?” He asked him. “I am up to doing anything inside. I am really not that picky but we could get some more sleep if you are still tired.” He said looking at him. Sleeping sounded pretty good as he figured they would be here a while.

Kodi yawned and stretched out. "I am sure they are smart enough to stay inside during this storm." He spoke as he looked at Nikko. "The storm is pretty brutal and coming down. It seems to have scared all the woodland creatures into their burrows." He added. He stretched once more. "Some more sleep sounds delightful..." He added as he looked at him.

Nikko nodded as he listened. “If the woodland creatures are smart enough, I would hope that your pack is. I completely agree. But I think my king size bed will be more comfortable than the couch and it is a lot bigger. You are welcome to join me. It should help both of us sleep better.” He said looking at him.

"Hmm, let's head up there then." Kodi spoke with a yawn and a stretched. He followed beside him up the stairs and to his bedroom. When he got there he crawled into the bed and laid his head down to sleep. He closed his eyes and was almost asleep before Nikko slipped into the bed as well.

“Good. I think it will be better for both of us this way.” Nikko said and walked upstairs and laid down next to him and covered up. It was nice to be in bed where it was nice and warm. He closed his eyes and very soon after he fell asleep. It didn’t take long for him to end up dreaming for the first time in a long time. The only thing was that it was a nightmare. He didn’t move very much as he dreamed.

Once Nikko fell asleep Kodi cuddled close to him once more, head nestled beneath his in a submissive state rarely seen in alphas. He was content that way though as he slept though the storm. He knew he would need to run the scent of him out of him in the morning but he was content in the moment.
