Nikko watched the wolf. "Okay. That is fine. I hope you find a pack more suited to your needs." He said and looked at the female. "Well, I will not lie. I have ran into Kodi a couple of times on the edge of your territory. That is how I knew I could defeat him. I knew he was a perfect candidate to be my alpha female. So it wasn't a hard decision since he is kind and he cares about all of you and puts me in a better position to serve you." He said looking at the female.

The pack nodded and just watched the two of them. "So, what are you going to do for an heir?" One wolf asked them. Kodi just stood there, staring at the ground. He waited patiently. He looked back up and smiled at the wolves. He moved closer to Nikko and laid his head on his shoulder, waiting for his answer.

"We don't have all of the details work out but we will adopt. Kodi expressed to me his wish to adopt children and I would like to do the same thing." Nikko said and put an arm around Kodi when he put his head on him. "Alright. I will speak to you all individually and see what your major concerns are and work from there. Kodi will be with us and we will meet in the main room." He said trying to come up with the best way to make sure he doesn't miss anyone. "Can you take notes for me in case I forget something?" He asked Kodi.

Kodi nodded. "I can take notes alpha." He spoke as he walked along with Nikko to the office. When they got there Kodi sat in Nikko's lap and picked up a pen and clipboard. He waited for the first person to come in while he held the clipboard and pen, ready to write.

Nikko smiled at Kodi. "Thank you. You really are amazing." He said and then went to the office with him. He sat down and let Kodi sit on his lap. Nikko put his arms around him and waited. When the first person came and sat down, he talked to them. Their main concern was Nikko being overthrown by a different rouge. Nikko explained that although that was a valid concern, he was planning on working to make the pack stronger than they have ever been and learn how to defend against such things. Things kept going on like this for a while and he answered all of their concerns to the best of his ability. There were a few who were skeptical that their relationship would work and two more who decided to leave the pack. Then they got to the last two people on the list. His mother and father. Nikko looked at Kodi before they came in. "Are you going to be alright?" He asked him knowing that his father was probably not happy with either of them.

"I will be alright. I don't think my father will come though." Kodi spoke as he looked at him. He turned back to his mother as she came in and sat down. "Kodi, your father left." She spoke before turning back to Nikko. "So you finally decided to show your face after I smelt your scent all over my innocent boy?" She teased him now.

Nikko nodded at him. When he heard that his father had left, he sighed. “I’m sorry Kodi.” He said to him and rubbed his back with one of his hands. He looked at his mom and smiled a little at her. “Yes I guess I did. I was waiting for it to be a dramatic moment. I like to make an entrance.” He said half joking. “Well, I am assuming you plan on going with your mate but if not, you are more than welcome here. If you have any concerns for either of us, you can ask them.” He said to her. He was glad that she had stuck around to at least talk to them before taking off.

Kodi leaned into Nikko's hand as his back was rubbed. He looked back at his mother and smiled at her. His mother shook her head. "No, I will not be going with him. He plans on returning to hurt Kodi and you and I do not support him for planning to hurt my little boy." She spoke. "My question for you is, have you two been planning this and or have you been seeing each other before this happened? Kodi doesn't seem too broken up on the fact he lost the pack and he seems quite close to you..." She asked curiously, tilting her head.

“Thank you. I appreciate that you care so much for your son because I care about him too.” Nikko said to her. He smiled at Kodi as he leaned into his hand. “Well, it is a long story. We became friends a while ago and I let him stay at my place to get away from Bec. She was driving hi insane and he couldn’t sleep and it wasn’t safe for him to sleep in the woods. There is a rouge out there who really does want to cause trouble for this pack and me. He came by when Kodi was sleeping and I managed to save him before the guy got to him. We have been together anytime that he needed to get away. He has never been the Alpha type. He has told me many times that he would much rather be in the alpha female role and I wanted to make it happen for him so that he could be truly happy.” He said honestly to his mother. He was hoping that it wouldn't get out too much that they had staged the whole thing because he knew some of the pack would be upset about it but she was his mom and he thought she should know.

"Awe that is precious." Lori, Kodi's mother cooed. "You are not mad?" Kodi asked. "No I am delighted." She smiled. "I never liked Bec anyways. Your father chose her." She explained. Kodi released a sigh of relief. "Now are you two together, not, still deciding?" She asked them. "Still deciding" Kodi spoke. Lori smiled. "I am just so pleased for you two." She added.
