Nikko looked down at him. "I don't think they heard you." He said quietly. "As much as I really want you to stay, I know they are worried about you and that you need to go run off my scent. But I can't wait to see you again." He said looking at him.

Kodi nodded and whined. He soon left to returned to his pack. He would only see Nikko again after the wedding.

Nikko was ready to go fight Kodi. He had to make it seem realistic and he knew that he had to be careful getting to him with all of the other wolves around and his smell would tip them off too soon. He missed seeing Kodi and was glad that he would get to see him again soon. Nikko went close to where Kodi was undetected before changing into his wolf form and running up and fake attacking Kodi it was pretty convincing and he was making sure that it was. But he wasn't using anything close to his full force.

Kodi rolled with Nikko as he was attacked, shoving him away with less than full force. He needed to make it look realistic. He gave a growl and asked him "What are you doing on my land rogue?" He asked with a growl as he shifted into his wolf form and all the woman shrieked and hid behind their mates. Kodi knew he needed to play this perfectly.

Nikko had barely moved when he was ‘shoved’. He had to make it seem like he was really determined to win. “Ah no you see, this is my land. I am taking over your pack and becoming alpha. I will not lose to you.” Nikko growled. It sounded very harsh like nothing that had ever come out of him before even when he was fighting off other rouges. He fought him. He was glad the woman were shrieking. It made it seem even more real with them in the background. He knew everyone in the pack was watching and he needed to assert his dominance. This fight would also determine how much respect he would pull as an alpha.

Kodi growled. "You are mistaken. This is my land and my pack and I will die before I lose to you." Kodi explained with a growl, leaping at Nikko and taking him down to the ground, rolling with him. After many minutes of fighting Kodi had "lost" the fight and was forced into submitting to him.

“Well, then you will die.” Nikko growled at him. Nikko stood and turned into human form and looked at the pack. “I am Nikko. Your new alpha. First things first. I need an alpha female. Kodi, you have a choice to make. You can take your female and get kicked out of the pack, or you can become my alpha female.” He said looking at him. “It is totally up to you, but I would recommend the second option." He said to him following the plan perfectly.

Kodi thought a moment before shifting human, still sitting on the ground, defeated. He turned to his female and said "I am sorry Bec but I will need to break off our marriage to save us both." He explained before turning to Nikko. "I guess I will become your alpha female. It is best for everyone." He spoke, looking defeated. The plan was going perfectly. He checked to see the packs reaction to the take-over, the breaking of the marriage, and the idea of two males being together as alphas. "Kick Bec out anyways." He heard someone in the crowd call and Kodi had to keep his laugh reined in.

Nikko smiled at Kodi. “Perfect. I agree that it is better for everyone. As for what to do with Bec, I think it will be more interesting to make Kodi decide what to do with her.” He said. “They were to be married after all. Now that he is mine, I want him to choose. “Kodi, your thoughts please?” He said standing next to him as a sign of his dominance. He may have never been alpha before, but he knew how to act like an alpha and make everyone go with his wishes. “Personally, I think it would be way more interesting to keep her.” He said.

Kodi continued to sit upon the ground at Nikko's feet, playing the defeated alpha card well. "Oh Alpha it would be interesting to keep her but with the way she is looking at your throat it would be safer for you to throw her out..." He spoke softly, looking at the ground. He just wanted Bec gone because she was freakin' insane and made the last month of his life as difficult as possible. The only relief he had gotten was after he met Nikko.
