History: Kura was the only child of her parents, she grew up in a distant village far from The Empire. She lived near the borders with her parents and some close friends. The village was very poor as they were all farmers and the village was built as a resting station, for the rich merchants to stop by on their journey and stock up before heading for their destination. Kura was jealous of the rich so much that one day, she on purposely put a whole cup of rat poison into a merchant's drink. The merchant nearly died from the poison and asked for help to recover before heading into The Capital. Kura immediately bargained with the merchant, if she cured the poison, he would bring her into The Capital and the merchant agreed. After arriving at The Capital, she met Sigurd and they became friends, since Kura didn't have anything to do around, Sigurd invited Kura to come train with him. She learned most of her skills from Sigurd as he is a teacher and a senpai to her. She joined the Assassin's Guild so she can put her skills into good use, and follow Sigurd everywhere. Kura found her teigu when she was fighting a danger beast, it seemed to guard something right before Kura cut it down. She dug out Death Crown and immediately brought it back to the guild. Kura had gone through many times of frustrating temptation of taking Death Crown and at last she gave in and claimed the scythe. The girl is willing to do anything for the guild and is very dedicated in protecting the others.

Teigu Abilities: Target Finder - The scythe glows when it is near its’ target. Once it has been assigned to a target, it will not harm or kill anyone else until the target is assassinated. The target must die by beheading, if the target was killed any other way, the wielder will die right away. The more targets the scythe has beheaded, the more sharp it gets. Trump card: Multiple Targets - The scythe create four clones of itself, each attaching itself to another person. Each can be assigned a target (five targets in total) and the scythe can be controlled through movements of fingers. The result of using the trump card is the user becomes ill and unable to move for a week, resulting in a high deadly fever that cannot be cured. If tempted to cure the fever, the user dies immediately.

Teigu Abilities: Shades - The twin swords are to be thrown at the same time at shadows. It will pin down the shadow as if it is alive and part of the victim. The white sword pins the head of the shadow and the black sword pins the heart of the shadow. It makes the shadow's owner unable to move, as if it was pinned by two needles. If another sword was to draw a straight line through the shadow, the sufferer would be harmed at the same place the shadow was cut. Trump card: Invisible Swords - The twin swords become invisible when thrown and will cause immediate harm to the sufferer and the sufferer cannot lie when being in contact with the swords.

However, to heal someone they must be "half-dead", meaning they must have fatally serious injuries before the fan can activate its’ ability. Due to this, the fan’s ability is inconvenient for healing minor wounds since it needs to fatally injure that person first.Trump card: Hidden Armour - The fan turns into an armour that another person can wear. The user becomes unconscious when the trump card is in use, leaving him/her valuable in a fight. The armour is made of air currents, it will protect the person from any physical harm (blades, magic, elements, etc.)

After using this trump card, his arms become paralyzed so if this was to happen during a fight, he would escape to somewhere else safe.

xxxYukio was bored out of his mind. The guild had been receiving fewer and fewer requests from the empire's citizens. Ever since the huge war, everything had become so peaceful... No, they weren't Night Raid; in fact, they were an unknown assassin guild. Now that peace had been restored, there was no need for rats to be rid of. Yukio leaned back, allowing his body to fall onto the comfy bed. He was just laying around at the guild's hideout. That's what he's been doing for about five days straight. Training? There was no fun in that. Yukio wanted some action, but when they did receive the few requests that they got the others were always being sent out without him. Why? Was it because he was lazy? Well that was just rude. Yukio might be lazy but he did love a good adventure. Yukio's light blue eyes stared up at the ceiling. Maybe he should go see what the others were doing? It was awfully quiet nowadays. Usually, Yukio was the one who was making all the noise. The other members were rather distant, and he often wondered if he was the only loud one of the bunch. He didn't know them or their pasts all that well, but what was he supposed to do? Go up and ask them about it? You didn't have to be a detective to know that most had dark pasts that they would rather not talk about. Yukio felt like he was the odd one out. He didn't have any dark history or anything, and why he had become an assassin was for personal reasons. Yukio sighed as he hauled himself up and onto his feet. Maybe he could go practice his accuracy with the targets outside? Might as well do something productive.

xxxEmi hummed to herself as she laid stretched out on the field. The puffy, white clouds slowly moved across the sky. Slower than a sloth. Her teigu, Kedamono, was in its sheath attached to her belt. She rarely used the dagger for anything but taming the danger beasts that roamed out in the wild. In order for a beast to be tamed, she had to stab it. Not in a place that would give it a fatal injury and could kill it, of course. Even if she just nicked the beast, the teigu's ability to tame any beast would already be working its magic on the creature. Emi was always on the sidelines, using the beasts that she had tamed to fight for her. She had never once used Kedamono's trump card. To be honest, she was kind of scared to. She reached over with her right hand to pull the blade out of the leathery sheath. She remembered when she had first found it. It had been beautiful. The beautiful dark crimson color of the blade gleamed in the sunlight. At the time, Emi hadn't known that it was a teigu, but when she had found out that it was she was rather surprised at its ability to tame beasts. It looked like an offensive weapon, and it could be used as one too. Emi sheathed the blade and slowly sat up. Bits of grass stuck in her hair, but she didn't mind it at all. She glanced back in the direction of the guild's hideout. She always asked herself why she had become an assassin in the first place. Emi had way too much compassion and she didn't have the heart to kill. Even those that had done wrong didn't deserve to die. She found herself liking the new empire and the peace that it had found.

xxxThe pages of the book flapped slightly as a slight breeze blew through the trees. Takeshi's eyes continued to move from one word to the next despite the wind that shook the tree branches and made the leaves rattle. He was too engrossed in the book to care about what was happening around him. Takeshi was currently sitting on a thick tree branch, reading a book about military strategies and the like. The book had mysteriously appeared the other day near the hideout. He didn't know who it belonged to, as it had no name, but the content was interesting enough and would prove to be useful in the future missions of the guild. Takeshi flipped the page to find what appeared to be a small slip of paper tucked in between the two pages. Takeshi's eyebrows rose as he stopped his reading and picked up the piece of paper. It was folded up. He unfolded it and began to read what was on it, thinking that it might give them a clue about who the owner was. But what was written on it in messy handwriting wasn't anything like what he had expected it to be. He immediately shut the book, paper still in hand, and jumped down from the tree. He landed on both feet with a light thud. Judging from the messy handwriting, whoever had written the message had been in a hurry. Either way, he had to get all the other members of the guild together for a meeting. What had been written on the slip of paper was definitely for them. That explained why the book had mysteriously appeared. Takeshi silently thanked the anonymous person who had sent them the message. He had thought the empire was finally at peace once and for all, but boy had he been wrong. The governors of the capital were going to summon an extremely dangerous monster.

xxxThe blade sunk into the tree bark with a nice thunk. Xenosa stood a few feet away, still in the same position. She slowly straightened back up and began to walk towards the tree that had suffered the hit from the dagger. She didn't have to walk far to retrieve her teigu. She had only taken a few steps when she bent down and grabbed the end of the chain from the ground and yanked. The dagger was flying towards her, but she caught it by the handle. She was only training with one of the two chains at the moment. It was kind of hard to train without having something or someone to train with. Xenosa could really go for a nice danger beast to slice up. Xenosa brushed off the bits of bark that were present on the blade. Her teigu, Kusari was a unique teigu. Xenosa knew that it had been the teigu for her when she had first found it. The other imperial arms were cool too, but Xenosa had especially been drawn to the dual chains in particular. Although, the other teigus had been really interesting, none of them had fit her. She had read the book about the teigus before and they all seemed very useful, but humans could only wield one (and maybe two if they had the durability). Xenosa let out a soft sigh. Though she wore an eye cover, she could still see perfectly fine. She, herself, had no explanation for why she could see through when there were no slits or holes, but it didn't matter, did it? Xenosa hated to look people in the eye, especially after what had happened so long ago. She shook her head. No, now wasn't the time to dwell in the past.

Elyse picked at her nails as she waited for the newcomer to arrive, she looked up and checked the time, it was five minutes past ten. He was late. She went back to picking her almost clean nails, waiting for the newcomer to arrive. Elysee frowned, everyone in her fraction know well that she hated people being late, especially newcomers. She glanced at the clock again, seven past ten. Elyse hissed with annoyance, I swear, if that guy doens't show up in the next three minutes... A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts, Elyse couldn't wait to shout at that new guy. She threw the doors open and there stood a white haired boy, most likely the newcomer. "Why are you late? You do know that I could have not waited for you?" She shouted pointing angrily at him. "Come in and we will start, thanks to you being late, you get less chance of joining the fraction."

Sigurd stepped out of his room and closed the door behind him. He was organizing the books when he found an unwashed plate. Things like those often slipped his mind when he had other more important things to do, so he would just put it down on something close by and walk off. Suddenly, he remembered that he forgot something as he stopped in his tracks, what was it again? Sigurd turned around and went back into the room, sure enough there was another unwashed plate on top of the books he just cleaned out. He sighed as he carefully grabbed the plate and headed out of his room, not bothering to close the door this time. He passed by Yukio's room as he was trying to remember if he had forgotten anything else. Seeing Yukio stand up from the bed, Sigurd leaned in and called out to him, "Hey, do you want me to make you something in the kitchen?"

Kura strolled through the clearing with a bronze scythe in her hand, she was bored and unwilling to do anything at the moment. As the sun continued to glare down on the pale skinned girl, she was almost boiling with all the armor she was always wearing. You can never get Kura to take the armor off, even if she was in her room alone and sleeping. It constantly gave her a secured sensation when she is wearing the gear. The girl casually made her way to the edge of the field when she heard thuds of something being thrown, that made her curiosity perk up. Kura dashed into the forest as she tried to track down where the sound came from, it must be close and that’s for sure. Leaping over fallen logs, she made her way closer to the place where the sound was heard from. Kura ducked behind a tree as she tried to calm her racing and excited heart. Surely nobody found the location of the hideout, right? The girl bit her lip hard as she gripped the scythe tightly as she was prepared to leap at any intruder. Kura jumped out from her hiding place as she raised her scythe, but only to notice another familiar girl. Xenosa was knelt down with her imperial arms right in front of a tree. Kura twisted her hand as she stopped herself from slicing her friend up. Great, now she must think I’m trying to kill her. She shook her head as she silently scolded herself. "Sorry! I nearly hurt you because I thought you were an intruder." Kura laughed awkwardly as she scratched the back of her neck, "Don't get this the wrong way, I don't want to kill you." She pulled out her scythe out of the ground and at the same time, she noticed that there were cut marks on the trunk of the tree in front of Xenosa. Oh, so she was the one practising. False alarm.

Seiki was overwhelmed in a bad way, the girl was scary, he wanted to hide. Great, I will fail. Or they will find out, I should have never applied for this. Everyone is going to be so mad, they will hate me, they... will be mad and want to kill me. He thought as he followed the scary girl inside the room. Seiki never wanted to do this, but his friend saw it as a good chance for him to be a spy and gather more information about the government. "So. Do you know anything, like anything, about assassins and criminals?" The girl asked coldly. He could feel her intense stare and didn't want to meet it, he didn't want to talk so he nodded. "Talk!" She shouted slamming her hand on the table. That motion and the sound spooked Seiki as he nearly forgot how to speak. "Y-yes." he muttered quietly, receiving a glare from the older girl. "Tell me, what do you know." "They are evil, they think that they are fighting for justice but everything they do includes violence. That is a threat to the Empire and we can't allow that to happen. You never know what their thinking, especially with those evil minds of ou- um, those." Seiki quiet answered, waiting for the unavoidable glare or a slap. However, he looked up and saw the scary girl smiling- a scary, predator smile. "Do you have a weapon? Or perhaps an imperial arm?" She pressed, the questions felt as if she knew the truth, how he secretly work for a group of assassins and how much he hated the Empire. "Um... yes," Seiki sighed, this is the end of his journey, "I own an imperial arm." He raised his right arm and pulled up his sleeve, revealing a tattoo of a sun. Some say the tattoo looks like a hole, some says it looks like a weapon, but Seiki knows that this tattoo isn't just a normal tattoo, it's an imperial arm. "It's not a weapon you can hold, but the ability is Light Snow. A projection ability." He muttered quietly. He was scared, scared that she would kill him right on the spot. Hooray, my end. Seiki thought gloomily and started to pull his sleeve back down. A warm hand suddenly caught his wrist, and he looked up. "You're in. Welcome to the fraction of Criminal Extermination. My name is Elyse, the head of this organization of the Empire. Your first day is two days from now. Be prepared, we are going out to catch some outlaws." Elyse beamed while shaking his hand. Seiki stared at her blankly, What? Why didn't I get killed? How am I alive? She just patted his shoulder before leaving him alone in the room.

xxxUpon hearing a voice call out to him from outside his room, Yukio glanced over to see Sigurd there with a dirty plate in hand. Yukio chuckled slightly as he walked out of his room and into the hallway. He never bothered to shut the door behind him. He trusted the other members of the guild wouldn't go snooping. They had no reason to be anyway. Yukio shook his head. "No, I'm good." Yukio said in response to Sigurd's question. Yukio grinned at the unwashed plate that was in his hands. "Ahhh, forgot another one, huh?" Everyone knew that Sigurd could be pretty forgetful, as his dirty plates were always left out in the most random places. Yukio hadn't even noticed Takeshi come up until the older male actually cleared his throat. Yukio needed to work on noticing the presence of others... Yukio waved slightly. "Hey Takeshi." Yukio greeted. Was it him, or was Takeshi's expression more serious than usual? He couldn't tell. The older male always wore this blank face that could mean anything. "What's up?"

xxxEmi hummed to herself as she laid stretched out on the field. The puffy, white clouds slowly moved across the sky. Slower than a sloth. Her teigu, Kedamono, was in its sheath attached to her belt. She rarely used the dagger for anything but taming the danger beasts that roamed out in the wild. In order for a beast to be tamed, she had to stab it. Not in a place that would give it a fatal injury and could kill it, of course. Even if she just nicked the beast, the teigu's ability to tame any beast would already be working its magic on the creature. Emi was always on the sidelines, using the beasts that she had tamed to fight for her. She had never once used Kedamono's trump card. To be honest, she was kind of scared to. She reached over with her right hand to pull the blade out of the leathery sheath. She remembered when she had first found it. It had been beautiful. The beautiful dark crimson color of the blade gleamed in the sunlight. At the time, Emi hadn't known that it was a teigu, but when she had found out that it was she was rather surprised at its ability to tame beasts. It looked like an offensive weapon, and it could be used as one too. Emi sheathed the blade and slowly sat up. Bits of grass stuck in her hair, but she didn't mind it at all. She glanced back in the direction of the guild's hideout. She always asked herself why she had become an assassin in the first place. Emi had way too much compassion and she didn't have the heart to kill. Even those that had done wrong didn't deserve to die. She found herself liking the new empire and the peace that it had found.

xxxTakeshi had made his way back to the main hideout and entered. When he walked into the room, he noticed a rather young looking boy there. He rose an eyebrow. Ahh, new recruit? Takeshi figured Elyse had already dealt with him. He seemed a little shaken up. Takeshi walked past him without even acknowledging his presence. He needed to find the others. He knew that everyone was out doing their own thing, but hopefully, some members might still be here. If that white-haired male had already experienced Elyse's wrath, then there was the chance that she was still in the hideout somewhere. Takeshi was walking down the hallway when he caught sight of Sigurd and Yukio talking. Takeshi walked up to them, hearing Yukio's last comment about how Sigurd had forgotten about another one. Takeshi instantly knew that Yukio was talking about a dirty plate. Sigurd was always leaving them around the hideout; then, of course, there was a plate in Sigurd's hands at that very moment. Takeshi cleared his throat to get both of their attention. When Yukio spoke, Takeshi held up the small piece of paper. "You might want to read this. I'm trying to get all the guild members together for a meeting but I have no clue where most of them are." Takeshi explained. "Do you know where any of them might be?"

xxxXenosa had felt a presence nearby, but she just assumed it was one of the others and didn't bother to do anything about it. Their hideout was pretty hard to find, safely tucked away far from the empire. Not too far that it took them a while to get to the capital to actually carry out their missions, but a good distance. Xenosa could feel that the presence was even closer now, just behind the tree that was a few paces away. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw someone, Kura, jump out. Xenosa didn't budge, as she knew that Kura would be able to quickly alternate the course of her scythe's swing and miss. Sure enough, the scythe landed in the ground next to Xenosa with a loud thud. Xenosa was silent as she listened to Kura's explanation. Sounded reasonable enough. It wasn't as if she could tell that it was just Xenosa training. She was sure that if she had been in Kura's position she would've thought that there was an enemy as well. "It's fine." Xenosa simply replied. They were in the same guild, fighting for the same cause, they had no reason to fight each other. That was how it was for all the other guild members as well. They were teammates and had each other's backs.

Elyse left the white haired male as she headed to her office. She turned left and headed down the white marble hallway. A girl suddenly dashed out of the room and accidentally hit her shoulder hard as she raced by. "Hey! No running!" Elyse shouted after her, her light brown eyes flashing in disapproval. The girl immediately stopped running and turned around, "Sorry! I was in a hurry, commander." Elyse snarled as the girl said the word commander, sure it suited her, but the word was just annoying. As if people didn't have their own minds and have to listen to a master for all the instructions. "Whatever, go. Next time, don't run!" She waved her off. Elyse was almost sure that she saw the girl roll her eyes before turning away, but Elyse paid no attention to that kind of people. They just want a promotion, which they are not going to get. She continued walking towards her office and eventually, after bumping into dozens of other people and scolding them, she finally reached it. Elyse took out her key and unlocked the huge purple painted door, a familiar welcoming wave of scent washed over her. It was a freshly baked pumpkin smell, Guess Shiva did drop off a piece of pie for me. Elyse beamed in excitement, Shiva was a friendly neighbour who often baked a pie for her. The first thing she saw when she entered her humongous office was a piece of pie, sitting on her desk on top of all the unfinished papers. Elyse rushed in and grabbed that precious piece of pie. She sat down on her comfy chair and leant back while enjoying the pie. It reminded of her home, which she hadn't visited in many years. It reminded her of her brother, and his smile... and how he left before her. The mouthful of sweet pumpkin pie in her mouth suddenly lost the sweet taste, it turned bitter and bile as she tried to swallow it. Elyse pushed the slice away with regret, "Why do I miss him? He left me. Why should I be sad?" She stood up slowly trying to clear her mind. Maybe a run would do me good. Elyse thought while grabbing for her teigu, Hagane, before leaving her office once again.

Sigurd sighed as Yukio teased him with his unwashed plates. It is a hard habit to break, but Sigurd doesn't plan to change his habit soon. Just as long as he doesn't leave holding anything, he wouldn't leave anything behind. Good plan. He mentally agreed with his plan. A throat clearing noise snapped Sigurd out of his brainstorm, he turned and saw Takeshi, who might have listened to Yukio laugh at him. He was about to greet him when Yukio spoke up. Sigurd glanced at the note before speaking up, "Kura left for a run earlier, but I don't know where everyone else is."

Kura sighed as the other female replied. She thought it was the end for her because of her foolish decision. Dammit! I can't just attack other guild members before that. She scolded herself and bit down on her lip, I will have to be more patient next time. A new rule, don't jump in random people you see. Kura glanced at the other girl before looking away, "Do you want me to help with anything?" Even if they specialise in different weapons, it makes training more interesting because you don't know what your opponent is going to do, and they don't know what you are going to do. Although from time to time you would encounter an opponent who uses the same weapon as you, the battle becomes much more fun. Kura picked at her short nails as she mentally listed a dozen of punishments that she would do as punishment.

Seiki leant against his door, he did it. He made it into the government without them realising or finding out that he was an assassin and a spy. He had to report this to the group of assassins. Now that he could gather information inside the government without them knowing. They will find out one point, but then again... What if they find out tomorrow? What if they are coming to kill me now? Seiki thought negatively, he shook his head. If he was to report to the assassins, he has to go now.

Without a second thought, Seiki threw on his black hoodie and opened the door. He often used the alleys as an advantage especially when somebody was following him, but you can't catch him there. Seiki pulled his right sleeve up, the one with the dark sun tattoo. Seiki leapt over a dumpster and crouched behind it, careful not to touch the bile scented garbage. He breathed out slowly as he activated Sakkaku's ability. Small clouds of frozen air escaped from his mouth as he exhaled slowly, the clouds gathered into a more defined shape, as it began to lightly snow into the dark alley. A dark shape dashed by and suddenly paused in confusion. The male smiled as the walls projected a different image, an ordinary garbage bag that was casually thrown beside the dumpster. Just as the pursuer turned his back, Seiki silently reached into his hidden pocket and drew out three throwing knives. He flashed a small smile at the target, who was still unaware of his presence. Seiki flipped the well-balanced knives in his hand before catching them by the cold handles. Just as the pursuer turned around, Seiki threw the knives with exact accuracy. The three knives hit the unaware his chaser's back in a vertical line. One to his head, one to his spine, and one to his stomach. A dull sound of gasping was followed by eerie silence. Seiki released his ability as he walked over to the dead body and retrieved his bloody knives. He quickly wiped them on the victim's shirt before heading to the hideout.

Seiki slipped into the main hideout and entered the kitchen to wash his knives. There was a slight smudge of crimson on the white blades that was slowly washed away by the gentle flow of the tap water. He wiped the knives with a thick ragged cloth and stashed them back into his hidden pocket. Seiki heard a muffled voice and realised that other might be upstairs. Curious, he followed the sound and when he was about to turn around the corner, he heard Sigurd's voice. He should listen before randomly joining in the conversation, and it's not like they were going to talk behind someone's back.

xxxYukio didn't hesitate to snatch the piece of paper out of Takeshi's hand. He had the ability to take things from others without batting an eye; if that was even considered as an ability. Yukio wasn't the type who used their manners, but Takeshi had suggested that they read whatever was on the note. Yukio's eyes slowly read over the words. He was a slow reader, it took his brain a bit longer to process things that others. Or his laziness was so bad that it had an affect on his brain. Yukio's eyes raised slightly in surprise. He thought that everything was just peachy in the capital and empire now, but noo. He was sorely wrong. "The governors are going to try to summon an extremely dangerous monster?" Yukio said while looking up at Sigurd and Takeshi. Was it a type of danger beast? Are any of the other officials in this or is it a secret between the governors? Questions were swirling around in Yukio's mind and it honestly was making him a bit dizzy. Yukio, suddenly remembering that Takeshi had asked where everyone was spoke up, "I think all the other girls are somewhere outside. Xenosa's probably training, Kura and Emi..." Yukio paused. He didn't really know any of the girls' daily routines as well as he did the guys'.

xxxEmi scrambled to her feet and brushed off the invisible dirt that clung to her clothing. She turned on her feel to begin heading back towards the hideout. She was kind of bored, so maybe the others would want to hang out or something. There were no wanted posters for any of them (yet), so they could roam around town without having to wear a disguise or hide their face. Their guild was still unknown to the empire as of right now. Emi smiled to herself as she began to make her way to the main hideout. It was pretty nice for an assassin hideout, but she wasn't complaining about it. Emi walked up to the door and opened it. Cool air surrounded her as she walked in and closed the door behind her. She could hear voices coming from upstairs. She recognized Yukio and Takeshi's voices. If those two were talking then Sigurd must've been there too. They sounded like their were talking about something important... Emi didn't want to be rude and interrupt them, so she stayed back down in the kitchen.

xxxTakeshi nodded, grateful for the answer. So Elyse wasn't around, but the others most likely were. Takeshi made no move to react to Yukio suddenly taking the slip of paper from his hand. Just like Sigurd with his habit of forgetting things, Yukio often tended to do things without a second thought. Everyone in the guild had their own habits and quirks. Being one of the older members of the guild, he knew everyone quite well. Well, mostly everyone. Some of the members were quite hard to get to know. Takeshi nodded to confirm Yukio's question. It was honestly quite surprisingly. The empire had finally reached peace and yet the governors were going to ruin it all by summoning this monster. Takeshi didn't know the governors' reasoning behind summoning it, but in his mind, there were no valid reasons to do such a thing. "So Elyse is the only one gone, huh?" Takeshi said mostly to himself. Takeshi felt a presence coming from around the corner. No murderous intent, must be one of the others. Takeshi turned slightly as he stared at the corner. "Who's there?" Takeshi called out. It was possibly Xenosa, as she liked to stay away from everyone most of the time even if they were all talking. But he had a feeling it wasn't her.

xxxXenosa rose an eyebrow when Kura asked if she needed help with anything. Xenosa glanced around and shrugged. "Not really..." Xenosa stated while shifting the daggers in her hand to readjust her grip on them. Although training with another person was quite handy, there was the possibility that one or the other could get hurt. Even though Kura's scythe wouldn't target Xenosa, it was still deadly. All weapons were deadly by themselves, but depending on the wielder and his or her physical and mental strength it could become even deadlier. Kura was no doubt perfectly in sync with her teigu and a great scythe user. Although the results would be quite interesting, Xenosa wasn't sure if she wanted to take the risk of either one of them getting hurt.

♤ ━ Elyse

Elyse strolled along the streets bored and looking for something to do. Maybe it was better for her to go back to the hideout and check on everyone... or she should just continue to keep her distance just because her brother was always at the hideout. Their relationship wasn't the best due to the frequent arguments that would disrupt the bond between the two siblings. Elyse approached a familiar place and suddenly realised that she was heading towards the hideout. She frowned, the hideout wasn't exactly the best place to go, just in case if somebody catches her. This is why she barely goes to the place, visiting the same place too many times can cause suspicion from her superiors, it would ruin all the work and effort she had put, slowly gaining the trust from the empire government, making her way up the ranks till she can actually get information and lead the part of field action. Elyse turned and walked away from the hideout. Maybe I'll go visit in another week.

Sigurd leaned over Yukio's shoulder and quickly scanned the messy words on the small note. He frowned at the thought of the government summoning monsters, as Yukio asked about the note. "Do you think it could be a trap?" Sigurd asked the other two, "There isn't a date on exactly when they are going to do it... so should we trust the note?" If it was a trap laid by the government to lure them out, it would be a bad choice to go. Sigurd clutched the forgotten plate in his hands more tightly as he thought of more ways of the not sender was trying to frame them.

Kura nodded, it was fine with her if Xenosa didn't need any help. Sometimes training with yourself was better than training with others. "I'm going to head back now." Kura told the other assassin before leaving the clearing. She made her way through the dense forest before arriving at the hideout and entered quietly.

♢ ━ Seiki

Seiki pressed himself closer to the wall as he overheard Yukio mention something about a dangerous monster and the empire. His first thought was to Elyse, maybe she had something to do with it. Seiki could easily imagine her laughing and raising monsters to destroy all the assassins. He still has a bad feeling from Elyse, in a way that she was hiding a bold secret from him, something bad. Seiki blinked as he heard a much more clear voice, Takeshi's, called out. The male froze in anticipation from someone that they were talking with but realised that he was the one that Takeshi was calling out to. Oh, they found out... He shrugged before peeking his head around the corner. "Hi, it me. I wasn't listening." The male quietly spoke. When Takeshi found out, Seiki was a bit disappointed in his hiding skills. He may have had an intention of staying hidden a while longer. He gave the gathered members a small smile and slipped out from his hiding place silently looking forward to the rest of the conversation.
