Wenri kept on running until she saw a stream in front of them. She hurdled it in one powerful bound and slowed to a stop on the other side, panting slightly. "Well, what was the plan now?"

Alek cleared it as well and landed softly beside her, he looked at her, panting softly as well. His tail swayed to and fro lightly as he looked at her, "We are free, no pack laws to bind us until we return, what do you want to do?" he asked her.

For a moment, all Wenri could think was that maybe she wanted to go back. Who was she without pack laws governing her? Then she laughed and leaped in a circle, then bowed down on her front end and wagged her tail like a puppy. She growled at him playfully.

Alek watched, and then his tail wagged eagerly, he was glad he had a chance to relax with her, even with all this stress. He pounced on her happily, play fighting was the basis of all training anyway, so it was a good thing.

Wenri felt lighter than she'd felt in years, playing with Alek like this. She was happy like this. She gripped his legs with her teeth, his scruff, as she mock growled and played like a puppy, waiting for one of them to pin the other.

Alek growled as his tail wagged, he wiggled and nipped at her legs as she tried to get her off his scruff. They had time before anyone noticed their absence, so that they had time to play, he wasn't going to be rough though, this was just for fun after all.

Wenri laughed as she broke from him and bounded a couple meters away, tail wagging. "What should we do?" she asked, her expression as bright as her mood.

Alek grinned as he looked at her with his single eye, "You remember your tracking lessons? Why don't we find ourselves some food?" he asked as he looked at her.

Wenri laughed. "I hardly rely on old lessons anymore," she said. "It's like second nature now."

Alek chuckled, "Well then go, bring us something good." he said as he stood and watched her, he would follow, since she was supposed to be watching him after all.
