'What to do... It seems those men didn't know who we were until I attacked in the forest. I've put us in danger, and we have no where to go! Hmm... there was that girl I met a little while ago. She's in a near-by village, so we could go there and stay with her a bit before moving on...' I think to myself. Path's clear for the next 20 or so meters I tell Mya.

Mya listened to her sisters thoughts from far, only understanding snatches of it. But near the end she had gotten closer and she frowned. "no, Jasmine. We cannot go to see anyone. We will put them in danger, and then it will be our fault if they get killed by whoever is chasing us." she spoke suddenly.

I stop suddenly. My thoughts slowing and calming like before a storm. What are you talking about? I ask, my 'voice' soft, almost gentle.

"we have to stay away from people, especially those we love. Or are even only friends with. We would only bring danger to them." Mya said quietly. They had to become outsiders, loners.

Mya turned to face Jasmine. "because we can't go to that girl you met a little while ago that lives in a near-by village." Mya spoke.

Mya didn't understand why Jasmine was saying this. "the one you were thinking about!" she exclaimed, a little exasperated.
