Mya nodded, but she was barely listening. Her shoulder hurt more and more. She coughed, sending more pain up her shoulder. Feeling dizzy, Mya stumbled.

Come on Mya. Stay with me a bit longer! I make it to the hideaway and quickly pull leaves and bushes over the entrance, hiding it from view.

Mya stumbled and fell inside. She couldn't talk, and went in Jasmines mind to try and tell her she felt she was about to pass out. But suddenly, she stopped moving. Mya was in Jasmines mind, and she was stuck there. She could go back into her own body, which laid still and motionless on the ground, except for a very slight lifting of the chest.

Shoot! Is the word that zooms through my mind as Mya collapses. I gently get her on the ground, gathering leaves around her in an effort to keep her warm. Mya! Can you hear me? I transmit to her, hoping she can.

Mya would have been hyperventilating... If she had a body. Yes... Yes, I can. I'm inside your mind and can't go back in my own! she sounded panicked.

My eyes open wide, my jaw drops and I fight the instinctual urge to look around. What do you mean?? I ask, confused and panicked. My thoughts race and for some reason I start thinking about food. I wonder if this means that she doesn't need to eat... Would she still feel hungry? What about sleep? Can she see my thoughts!!?? If she can't sleep, I hope she can be quiet. Not all of us are able to inhabit someone else's body to avoid sleeping...

It was a little too much for Mya. Stop, stop, please! she exclaimed, sounding in pain. I need to go back I to my body, but I can't. I have to wake up! she was scared, and her voice was painful in Jasmines mind.

I wince. How can you wake up, without a mind? I ask, biting my lip nervously.

I DON'T KNOW!! Mya yelled. It was now obvious she was completely panicked. This had never happened before. This shouldn't have happened. She was restless in Jasmines mind, turning this way and that, making it hard to concentrate and think.
