Mya looked down. "we cannot go anywhere without endangering these people. We have to disappear into the forest and leave them alone." she said, ignoring the question about the men.

But we have nowhere to go! I exclaim. We've been to all the nearby villages, so either we return to them or we find some new place to stay. And you ignored my question about the men. I add, a crease in my forehead betraying both worry and slight annoyance.

Mya thought for a moment. "We need to make ourselves a place... In the forest, far from everyone." she looked down.

Mya sighed, and flinched as a stab of pain went through her shoulder. "it could be a good idea... But the problem is, not all hate us. Fear us. A few are simply jealous of our power..."
