Draco's eyes fluttered open, still having his snout burrowed in his warm tail, he looked around his eyes landing on what looked like feet. Draco shot up, bounding towards Carmen, he only stopped when his fluffy head ran into her leg causing him to fall over. Autumn leaves crumbled below his small form, quickly he got up shaking off, though he was quiet dizzy after running fully into Carmen's leg. That's when he remembered he ran into someone, looking up he saw her, the reason he was in this mess in the first place. Though he couldn't risk her finding out about his secret so he just tilted his head as if stating, 'I'm lost' or 'are you okay'.

Carmen felt something run into her leg, and immediately jumped backwards, ready to fight. Looking down she saw that the little fox had woken, followed her, and ran into her. She wasn't sure if it was dangerous, but she didn't care. She picked up the fox and pet its back, and talked to it, just to see if it was okay and wouldn't kill her... immediately kill her, anyways. "Are you okay little fox? Are you lost?" She continued to pet it while she walked back towards the edge of the forest. When she reached a safe distance from the edge, where she was sure no one would see her, she set the fox down and made sure no one was watching before she stepped farther and farther towards the tree-line and finally out of it. She'd considered doing something, but.... Decided against it. She didn't want to get eaten, she somewhat valued her life to the extent of not wanting to die a horrible and embarrassing death.

Draco sat peacefully in her arms. Shes not so rude after all. Draco thought happily. As the girls fingers brushed threw his platinum fur, he lay his head on her chest, letting a soft purr escape his tiny mouth. The noise surprised him and made him jump a bit, though he settled back to his original spot once he realized he'd made the noise. {Sorry this ones short I promise the next one won't be and I wanna know!! Also PM my sis x3}

Carmen set the little fox down with a scratch on its head, although she just wanted to stay here in the woods with it forever, she knew it had to eat. Careful not to hurt it, she set it down on a tree stump and walked out of the forest, and up the hill. The thought of food made her stomach grumble, and she knew it was almost dinner. She had to put on her robes and get to the dinner hall before everybody started eating. She ran to the Hufflepuff common room and put on her robes after getting a few looks from older years in the hallways, who still believed her to be a first year and haven't yet heard her story. She would be eternally grateful for that. Well, maybe not eternal, but she was grateful right now for not letting them know.

Draco shook his soft fur as he watch the girl leave. He turned his small snout in every direction, making sure no one was watching him, and within seconds he was back to his normal height. He ran a hand threw his messy hair, that resembled Potters, though soon it was back to being fairly flattened, with only a few strands sticking up in the front. With a sigh he made his way towards his second class of the day, Potions, considering the first class was a free period. He entered the classroom with a sigh, noticing he was sharing this class with the Hufflepuff house.

Carmen quickly changed into her robes and ran to potions, grabbing her binders and almost being late. She sighed, knowing that this particular class would be shared with the Slytherins. She watched as the teacher talked to them. "Gather round, children!" Professor Snape had seemed intimidating at first, but once she stepped foot in his class he seemed different. She thought about her next hour, Etymology, (Which she would also be sharing with the Slytherin house) as Snape spoke. "You will be paired off with someone from a different house for today's assignment." With a flick of his wand, there were names on the desks, just like in muggle elementary schools (Which she attended for several years). Once she found her name she peeked to see who her desk partner was. She sighed, knowing exactly who it was. Draco.

Draco sneered glaring at the girl who had been chosen as his partner. Though he was generally rude to most people, he didn't feel as compelled to tease her, so with this new feeling, that he truly didn't understand, he turned to the front of the class, making notes of whatever potion they were concocting today. Though it was especially hard to even concentrate with his thoughts that the girl who lead him back to Hogwarts was literally sitting next to him, then again she didn't know that. He drowsily scrapped the sharp black quill on the ageing, yellowed parchment sat in-front of him.

Carmen let out a sigh of silent despair. She'd hated this boy since he first spoke to her, why did now, they have to be partners? She turned to him, seeing that he was taking notes. "What potion is it?" She hadn't bothered looking, and didn't really care to. Although she would need to know, she didn't care. As long as she knew how to make it and what ingredients she needed, she was fine. But this time, something compelling was telling her she would want to know what this specific potion was. She waited in silent remorse,hoping that he wouldn't answer immediately. She needed some time alone with her thoughts.
