Doriel woke, realising she'd moved closer to Cameo. She silently flew out to find food for the two ravens.

Nite sighed. "I just feel somewhat like i cant do the things we need anymore, thats all." She said.

Apache woke, slipping out from the vines. She watched him. "So, still refusing to talk your way out? All right." She hissed.

(This is a secret post, im back-ish, but only here.)

Cameo didn't move a muscle, he was still fast asleep, his mind filled with the soothing, angelic sound of Doriel's voice. It had echoed inside his head, possessing every one of his dreams throughout the entire night.

Vibrant blinked, taking a few minutes to process what she had said, before laughing to himself. "Hun, don't you even go there! You're gonna be doing a lot of work, in fact, you already have! Trust me, I don't think I could have the patience you do. Though I am willing to take a turn sitting, if you need me too." He offered cheerfully, fluttering his wings. He winked, and smiled. "I'll be back with breakfast shortly." The male Aracari then flew off, in search of tropical fruit.

Devlin met her gaze with a steely glare, not responding. He had been hard at work on the vines that imprisoned him since dawn, though being very thick, even his very sharp beak had barely pierced them. There was clear evidence that he had been tampering with the cage, though.

Doriel came back with two small monkeys and silently watched Cameo, smiling.

Nite smiled. "Okay, be safe!" she said and tucked the eggs closer to her heart, warming them more.

Apace chuckled. "Silly finch of a raptor, you can't escape a falcon!"

(so sorry this is late, Spirit! I’ve been so horribly absent lately.)

As she entered Cameo suddenly stirred, awaking to the sight of his fellow Corvid carrying what looked like a feast to his eyes. He sat up, a shocked and excited expression taking over his face. ”Wow, you found great food.” He murmered, offering the female a smile.

Vibrant winked, and gently nudged her playing with his wing. ”As if I’d ever be dangerous.” He scoffed, chuckling after. ”Don’t worry, I be back before you can say Curl-crested Aracari three times fast. And with a feast fit for a queen, because that’s what you are to me.” He called back, as he flew off into the forest canopy in search of fruit. (perhaps something terrible should happen to him...)

Devlin rolled his eyes, clearly fed up with this silly game of capture. ”C’mon, what do you want with me anyway?” He snapped, his impatience growing with each passing second.

Doriel smiled. "They arn't hard to capture, they were feasting on the nearby banana tree alone." she sang.

Nite smiled and waited for her mate.
(Thats the last thing Nite needs is Vibe getting hurt.)

Apache cackled. "Will you stay away from my family?" she asked.

(Devlin should get hurt and be healed by Nite, helping him change like Apache was.)

Cameo grinned, and shrugged. "Still impressed though, I mostly just eat carrion. I can't catch live prey to save my life." He admitted cowardly, with a small chuckle.

Vibrant flew zig-zagging through the trees, gathering all of Nite's favorite fruits before turning to head back. He landed in the opening of the tree, opening his beak to reveal a plethora of delicious food tumbling out onto the floor of their cozy hollow. "Feast!" He said, smiling.
(I knowww muahahaha okay I'll wait)

Devlin glared sharply, his gaze pure hatred. "What family?" He snapped, unaware that the "rainforest guardian had any true kin. "I'm a raptor, like you, don't forget. I need to eat just the same as all the "peaceful, fruit eating birds." He reminded, in an annoyed tone.
      (yaaaaaa I like it!)
