[Pool of the Moon]

Haddie glared at him "Stop with the nicknames" she snapped and almost cried seeing the box she took the box of things and took it to her bed and sat down with it he tone seeming to change some "M-my grandmother... w-was she there?" She asked quietly tears gathered in her eyes as she reached to her neck to take off a necklace with a key on it and slowly opened the box of various things including a book, some pictures, jewelry, and a knife wrapped in a small piece of silk fabric

[Imagine If.....]

"Yes. She was." He answered,"She and your grandfather miss your dearly. I assured them you will be safe with me." He explained quietly l, wanting her tears to cease, as he feared not being able to hold Amos back. He did not like this space that the woman was creating. It made him nervous, his hands wanting to do something to ease the pain she must be feeling.

Grinding his teeth he turned on his heel, leaving her before he did something he would regret.

As his hounds stood to follow him, he held a hand up, silently ordering them to stay. And they did, although this made his little companions dog slightly nervous, as it had followed the hounds bsck into the room, wanting to see it's mistress.

Haddie only nodded a little bit as she looked over all of the pictures and trinkets in the box although she could not rember what exactly was so special about the knife and some of the small trinkets she did remember one necklace in specific and she laughed a little through her tears at the story knowing now what caused nightmares a necklace could not protect you but she still put the necklace on anyways admiring the stone before she continued looking through the box and did not even notice James leave

[Imagine If.....]

The day passed slower than he would have liked, trapped in his office dealing with reports of complaints and various issues regarding those in his realm.
It was tedious work, and it was not helped by the fact that Amos would not sit well in his mind. Leaving on bad terms with his little one had made the creature anxious.

Which was the reason he was not the one to come to see her that night . Instead it was Mary. "The master has instructed for me to let you out." The woman grumbled, as she walked in to the woman's room without so much as a knock. "Back of the estate is yours to dwell in as you wish, you are to stay well away from the gardens, the greenhouse is as far as you may go. Do you understand these rules as I have explained them?" Without a pause she continued,"good. Also, don't bother Amos. He's in one of his moods."
Explaining this last warning the captain turned and left as suddenly as she had come. The hounds looked at each other, as if amused by Mary's actions.

Hera stood and stretched eager to leave the room.

Haddie looked up as someone neared the door the day had been log and moved very slowly but she listened to Mary only nodding then headed out of their room esa who had been asleep under the bed crawled out and ran after them as she moved towards the greenhouse when she got there then she looked around then went straight to removing the dead plants and tending to the still living ones trimming a few that had overgrown and watering others before she moved back to clean up some she sighed and found a small and half wilted rose bush that had managed to make it even after being taken over by the weeds and ivy that had been growing she took special care in clearing this area and paying attention to the plant

[Imagine If.....]

The halls where silent. The Windows dark. Not a soul dared to venture through the rooms so late. Wary of the man who had flown into a rage, as James was forced to hand over control to Amos, he had ordered Julian to lock the door from the outside, so that he might give Haddie some space.

James had a feeling she would not appreciate a touchy Amos at the moment.

After the office had been effectively torn up, Amos had collapsed into a arm chair, the very armchair his companion had sat in the night he had met her.....

Fingering the case of his violin, he took it up, prepared to spend the night like he did before he had met his companion. Letting out a sad melody, the halls soon echoed his music.

Haddie had soon ventured out of the greenhouse and into the dining room trying to find some food to eat and soon found an apple and made herself a sandwich before returning to the green house one last time before heading to her room to sleep when she got there she paused

It was odd being in the estate and not seeing Amos and knowing that he might not be there when she fell asleep it was like there was some sort of absence but she knew exactly what it was instead of having to try to figure it out

She sighed dismissing her thoughts and patted back the bed and Esa leapt up and she went to shower and change before she came back to her room and left the curtains open but the window and door to her room were both locked as she finally laid down with a sigh and closed her era trying to find sleep

[Imagine If.....]

It went like that the rest of the night and into the day. Haddie would wake to find her door once again locked, with hounds watching her every move in the room she was confined to once again.

James had taken up his work once again, exhausted from the night before. Amos would not sleep, nor would be feed. Both of these factors were beginning to have a effect on his work. At 4 he finally decided to stop trying to work. He needed to confront the problem at hand. Pushing back his appointments, he ventured through the maze of halls and corridors to see Haddie. Two hounds on either side of him.

Business had been rather slow today away. It was raining out, and the winter was driving most creatures to their respective homes and lairs. Coming to her door, he knocked, setting his forehead against the wood.
"It's me."

Haddie slept and when she woke most of the hounds were still there and she made sure that if they wanted to leave they had the chance. Haddie spent most of the morning and day getting food and cleaning up her room and finishing rearranging it.

When he came she was petting Esa and Haddie hesitated a little bit. Finally after a moment she silently nodded "Come in" she said just loud enough so he could hear her through the door. Haddie gently pulled Esa into her lap and waited for James or Amos unsure which one would come in.

Relieved at the small victory, James stepped into the room. Late afternoon drizzle was the only sound to be heard from the many windows of the room. "Hi." Amos although less anxious to see her, was vying to take over, keen on holding her.

James aware this was a terrible idea cleared his throat. If he wished to be on better terms he had to do things he did not want to. "I wished to apoligize...for my actions yesterday." He grumbled out.
