The old woman nodded a little bit "Thank you..." She said softly and sighed "If Haddie needs anything or needs a place to stay we can help" Mary nodded in agreement "We do miss her and if there is anything we can do just let us know" she said a few small tears forming in her eyes knowing her daughter would not be within easy reach to them but she pushed them away not allowing them to show "Well it was nice to meet you Mr.Murka if you are ever passing by feel free to stop in"

Hunter nodded quickly standing "Let me walk you out" he said a bit rushed and his mother shot him a glare that he silently nodded to and went opening the door for James and waited

[Imagine If.....]

Reaching into his breast pocket, James pulled ou ut a small list in Haddies handwriting, he had had her write earlier.
It seemed most of it was art supplies, and he smiled at it inwardly. Handing the list to Hunter he smirked," I believe your sister requested these items be sent to her. The address is written at the bottom." Stepping outside he waited to start the conversation with the boy, casting a lazy look at the dogs laying by the door, he had not doubt they could smell his hounds. They acted as such, interested in him, but wary.

Hunter nodded tucking the note in his pocket and quickly followed him once they had moved off the portch he turned shooting a hateful glare at him "Look I do not know what you want with Haddie and I don't know how you found us here, but what are you? I know your kind an I know what you do but you..." He paused and glanced at him trying to find the right words "Why would a nightmare with your status bother a human? And then come visit her family? Why would you even be out of wherever your little hideout is?" He snapped he was curious but angry

[Imagine If.....]

"First of all, it is an estate not a hideout , as you so coarsely call it. " James corrected him,"second of all, my intentions with your sister are strictly honorable." Despite what Amos feels like doing considering her, he added to himself.
"So whatever wheels are turning within that head of yours, planning something that I can assure you now, will not work. I must demand you cease. Haddie is mine to care for and protect. Any alterations to that arrangement and I will have to kill you." He stated manner of factly .

Hunter shook his head a little bit and took a shaky breath "Look I don't care what it is I have seen your kind my entire life and if I say a word I will end up in a mental hospital" he snapped "And Haddie does not BELONG to you or anyone else she can care for herself just fine" he snapped and looked down at the list in his hand only intending to pause momentarily then seemed to almost forget James was there for a moment and stared at the paper then turned back to him "WHAT KIND OF SICK JOKE IS THIS!?!?" He yelled the paper in his fist crinkled now as he yelled at him furious

[Imagine If.....]

"It's a list, of things she asked for." James stated the obvious.
"I won't have her uncomfortable in her new home." He said this quiet forcefully as Amos began to speak for him to some extent, the hairs on the back of his neck standing up.
"Also. It is not a matter of if she can care for herself. I know she can. However she has caught the attention of my kind. Consider if you wish her in my company, or rogue hands?"

Hunter paused "you seriously think that is all the list is" he mumbled and nodded a little to himself despite how angry he was he glanced at him "Hang on I will be right back" he said turning disappearing into the house and returned a few moments later with an old note book and offered it to him "Here take it" he said with a sigh "It was hers when we were kids" he said with a new tone "I swear if I somehow find out that she is hurt I will fight to find her until you kill me... I could not protect her when we were kids but I can at least try to now"

[Imagine If.....]

James accepted the notebook. Freezing as he processed the boy's words.
Amos began to come forth, a low vibrating growl came forth, from him,"what do you mean, this time?" His voice was clear and articulate, the hounds began to whimper backing away in fear of the master tone.

Hunter could tell his tone was changed and the dogs did not like it at all but he narrowed his eyes an it as if analyzeing him as he thought the tone was angry yes, but something else too... maybe worry for his sister? He could not tell but it did not quite seem like a threat to her so he continued speaking "Father was unkind is all I will tell you the rest is for her to tell if she feels comfortable telling you" he said his arms folded across his chest "Maybe she does not want you to know..."

[Imagine If.....]

James nodded his cool eyes betraying nothing. Interesting. Hm. It appears he was going to have to have a conversation with his little companion.
Amos grumbled in agreement, not wanting to push his dormant side. It was a careful balance between the two, and he was finding he could use Haddie to control Amos. It appeared she represented a common interest. Something each side of the creature had never truly had.

"I assure you she will be very safe with me."

Safe in the arms of the beast.
