[Pool of the Moon]

Mary frowned a bit and pushed the dogs around er back as he came out to meet the strange man "Really it is ok we always have leftovers anyways" she said and tilted her head "May I ask what kind of employment?" She asked opening the gate for him and heard the front door open and turned seeing her son coming out "Get back!" He demanded and she frowned "Excuse me? Who do you think you are talking to?" He rushed over looking at James almost as if in awe "Mom just get back..." He said and reached down for his boot but she smacked his hand "No quit all this nonsense! Go eat and be nice to guests" she said and pushed him away and he slowly did as told she sighed "I am sorry... He just got back from the hospital and I think the pain medicine they have him on is driving him a little crazy... I apoligize"

[Imagine If.....]

James suddenly smiled, as the mother's back was turned, his eyes glowing slightly as his eye's met the boys . He felt a twinge of regret at the back of his mind. But he was a creature of the night, he fed on fear and confusion, and it wafted off the boy like apple pie.((I want pie now.. ..))

"No need to apoligize madam, I'm sure the boy...just sees things slightly different. I believe I will take you up on that offer, it has been ages since I had a home cooked meal." resting his hand on the gate he pushed it open. Chances were he would have just left, had it not been for the boy's interruption, and curious acts. Now..his attenction was piqued and he would not be satisfied until he had effictively put the boy in his rightful place.

Mary smiled a little bit and nodded "Thank you for understanding... He has been a bit jumpy since those men attacked him" she sai and lead him inside the dogs looked up as he passed by some curious and some growled until Mary waved her hand and told them to quit as she opened the door into the front of the house into a simple living room with a staircase on the left.

She walked through the swinging door at the back of the living room and held it open as they came into the kitchen "Sit where you would like" she said motioning to the table as she and an older woman finished preparing food and set it on the table. The young man sat staring at James in almost pure hatred but said nothing whine the old man next to him glanced up and extended his hand "I'm Paul and who are you?"

Jame's stride was relaxed and cool as he made his way up the walkway to the cozy little house. As he walked he tried to imagine his precious little companion growing up here, taking in the flower bushes and various little touches that made a house, a home. He could feel Amos inside him, smiling and slightly purring in his own beastly way of showing pleasure with knowing his companion' s former home, looking for signs of her presence everywhere once inside.

Crossing the threshold he turned back to growl lowly at the dogs, asserting himself as a superior over them. Whinning the dogs backed away, submissive.

Taking a sear closest to the door he sent a friendly smile at the mother. She had shown no hostility, although it was foolish of her, he had showed him kindness, that had obviously been passed down into her daughter.
Meeting the old man's gaze, he took his hand, and gave it a firm handshake,"I'm afraid according to UC policies in not allowed to disclose my name....technically, however my shift ends in a few moments, so I will be out of their legal reach."

Pausing he elaborated," My name is James Murka." Watching the boy's reaction as he said the name, he waited for any kind of reaction. If it registered, they might need to have a little chat....

once the food was finally at the table and they were all seated and e spoke of his name the young man tensed up a little but only glared at him out of the corner of his eye not closing his eyes when the rest of the family bowed their heads to pray quietly then eat

Hunter looked at James eyeing him "So do you know Haddie directly or were you sent here by someone else" he asked watching him not seeming interested in the food very much anymore

Mary glanced over waiting for him to respond quietly and saw her mother shift in the seat next to her seemingly uncomfortable "You ok?" She asked quietly. The woman brushed it off "Fine" she snapped and watched Amos but instead of having the eyes of her grand son or daughter and husband there was something else. More of curiosity and doubt than anything else.

"I know Haddie pretty well," he smirked slightly, making sure that it looked like a genuine smile, but for the boy, there was underlying meaning. "In fact she has something she wanted me to say to you, something about a project of hers, if I may speak to you,after dinner about it." He offered, this time genuine. He didn't want the boy's hatred of him to turn into a crusade that would ultimately hurt Haddie.

If he launched a mission to get his,sister back, Amos would come out. Jame's was a gentleman most of the time. But if a threat was thought go be present, espe silly concerning Amos' affections toward Haddie. The beastly side of him would act on it. He intended to make this point to the young man.

Hunter gritted his teeth a little "Yes of course" he said quickly. He looked to his grandmother who had finished her small portion stand up and leave the room.

Paul looked over at James "So you work for the school? What kind of transfer or whatever is Haddie a part of exactly?"

[Imagine If.....]

Jame's smiled a predators smile,"she will be working for a friend of mine," Amos purred at this statement, and James continued,"as a art restorer for the time being, however he has other assighments lined up for later on in her employment." He explained, it was not far from the truth, he would offer the work to Haddie if she wished. The art of his estate had long ago fallen to age, and needed serious repair

Paul nodded a little "As long as she makes it by ok and is safe sounds good for her" he mumbled and continues eating

Hunter looked up as his grandmother came back in with a small wooden box with a key lock on it and set it down on the table "Could you... Make sure she gets this?" She aske him "She will already have the key for it... It's just some things I promised her and I want to make sure she gets them..." She said softly and looked up at him as if knowing something that the others did not "It would mean a lot..."

Jame nodded, his smile this time genuine, if he could do this one thing for his,companion he would. Amos growled in approval, accepting the box from the woman. "If I May, miss Haddie requested I bring her a few things. Her new employer has ensured she began work off the bat. "

He was surprised by how well his monster was working with him. For once not attempting to control his every action when it came to Haddie. He seemed to allow James to meet her at her own pace. It was indeed interesting how well James was adjusting to the young woman as well.

"I must thank you for the wonderful meal, however I am due back in the city quiet soon."
