Information: Haddie is enrolled in art classes at college and comes home to her home empty she has no roommate to share with so she is rather lonely she has had odd dreams for a while now but believes them to be thing of her imagination no matter how real they may seem and she goes on with her life working and going to school

James took a deep breath, his hands gripping the cold concrete of the balcony. The wind was cold and strong tonight, and in the west, the sun sank below the thin line of clouds. When the last ray of its light sunk below the mountain range, he felt it. Like he had felt it a hundred times before. The shift. The change.

His skin became black and scaled, his teeth became long and fang like.

His head bowed as the wings from his back sprouted like a kind of demonic flower. Spreading out longer than a bats, long tall and leathery. He sighed. It was the same.

Always it was the same. Shift, feed, shift back. Every night. And he was sick of it. He was restless. Waiting for s change that never came.

Haddie came home unlocking the door with a sigh she flicked on the lights and went to her room setting her things down before heading to the kitchen to eat. She turned and flicked on the radio so the house did not seem so lonely as she moved about the kitchen making her food.

After making herself dinner she pulled herself onto the counter to eat her food. She finished eating and washed her dishes then as always went to take a shower and go to bed. It had been an especially hard day and she was lost in her own thoughts and decided that she just wanted to go to bed early.

[Imagine If.....]

James Had walked back into his chambers, sitting in the same armchair before the fire, before closing his eyes and letting his spirit form float free from his body. The nightmare had risen. The night had begun.


The city was alive with sounds and sights, but he ignored it all as his dominant form sought out a victim of the night.
It happened fast, he fell downward, past buildings of grey and signs of color, to a small roomed apartment.


The night was his cloak, and it wrapped around him so tightly that he was practically invisible. He watched from the window in silence as his random victim climbed into bed.

Haddie sighed as she moved through her room and turned off the lights and climbed into bed her eyes closing as she let out a deep breath and let sleep take her

Haddie slept quietly curled up in her blankets against the cold of the room
